Price point was the only thing I like about the property

We originally planned to stay 6 nights at this place, we checked out after 3 days. The first room (502) had mold in the washroom, the property owner moved us into another room (102) after we complained. However the air conditioner didn’t work. With 34 degrees outside, the room was an oven. It was honestly one of the worst experience for my wife and 3 year old daughter. The properly owner was ok with us checking out early and getting the refund for remaining days. But we had to pay premium for last min bookings. This place shouldn’t be available for booking!

The location is perfect and the swimming pool is very nice.

The bed is too small for people above 1.80m

Stanza ampia e dotata di tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. Buona posizione per visitare diverse spiagge sulla costa di Puerto Escondido con motorino. Personale gentile e sempre attivo nel rispondere ai messaggi. Comoda piscina per rinfrescarsi a fine giornata.

Todo. Habitación súper amplia, bonita, cuidada y limpia. Valoro muchísimo que hubiera aceite, café y sal, básicos que deberían estar en todos los alojamientos con cocina. Pedimos más papel y toalla y los trajeron al momento. Personal muy atento con nosotros. La piscina se agradece bastante y se está muy a gusto.

No poder quedarme mas dias, la verdad que poco negativo para decir.

El estudio es minimalista sin embargo tiene todas las comodidades. Los espacios estan bien repartidos y optimizados. Muchos detalles que resuelven la vida: secadora de pelo, microondas, tostador, hornilla, refri con congelador, kettle, french press... de todo.

Sin duda, la atención y la gestión del anfitrión. Fue extremadamente amable, empático y honesto. Cuando le comentamos el problema, se hizo cargo de inmediato, nos reembolsó todas las noches salvo la primera y nos dio total libertad y facilidades para buscar otro alojamiento. Su trato fue de 10.

La presencia de insectos dentro del alojamiento (hormigas y una cucaracha). Entendemos que Puerto Escondido es un entorno natural y tropical, pero consideramos que el espacio interior necesita una mejor fumigación y control de plagas para que los huéspedes puedan estar cómodos.

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de la playa de Zicatela. La habitación muy amplia y muy práctica. La alberca está genial también

The room is great, it has a little kitchen where you could prepare simple meals (we didn't bother, the food outside is too good). A nice little sitting area outside right next to the pool (we were room 101) which we used a lot. PE is really hot in July. It's only 200m to the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the main strip. Sergio is a great host, he's really responsive. We had a problem with a coffee plunger, he went straight out and bought a new machine for the room. I would definitely stay here again, we felt really at home.

The rooms are crowded around the pool area, if there are noisy guests staying here they can really annoy you.

Staff never replied to any messages but continued to message about random things and never actually responded to any of my questions. There was never any housekeeping even staying for 3 days they never once cleaned our room even after we asked or given us fresh towels.

This was a great spot to stay, we wish we could stay longer. The room, facilities and the rooftop loungers was just superb. The bed is very spacious and confortable. Pool area very nicely laid out an accommodate multiple guest without feeling on top of each other of overcrowded. Location great for our stay and purpose. Check in and out easy and convenient. Will definitely stay here again if we travel to Puerto Escondido again and would not mind staying for longer

En general bastante bien, cumple con lo que se describe y el acceso fue muy fácil. La ubicación es buena, cerca de la playa y cerca de varios restaurantes a los que puedes llegar caminando.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba al 100%, entonces no enfriaba lo suficiente, el internet un poco lento o con cortes de señal y la regadera estaba muy alta, entonces no era posible limpiarla para que saliera mejor el agua.

This property has a beautiful beach atmosphere. I loved the subtle boho vibes. The property had walking access to the beach and even provided a shower to rinse off the sand before entering the rooms. A nice amenity was the terrace with hammocks and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sea breeze.

La buena disposición de Sergio, para conseguirnos todo lo que pedimos: un secador de pelo para mi esposa, un espejito, microondas pues no entendíamos la cocina eléctrica..... La alberca, el balcón mirando a la alberca, lo prolijo y bien diseñado del departamento... Otra azotea general cómoda y amplia. El Sr. Modesto limpiando desde las 6.30 o 7 AM la alberca, su amabilidad

Detallecitos menores, faltaría una baranda para la escalera pues nos ubicamos en el piso 1, algo más de vajilla aunque era justa para 2 personas.

Beautiful apartment, very cozy, the bed is simply gourgeus! The swimming pool is also very cute and clean!

The location is pretty good (just 15min walking to the main street) however when coming back at night, the streets can be too dark. For someone who is afraid of dogs it can be “something”, besides they seem pretty lovely!

Easy check in with code, and my room was also available earlier, which was really great! rooms are quite spacious, the pool is really nice for relaxing and refreshing. Host was really communicative and let us know about issues at the property and when they would be resolved. Location is quiet and close to the beach. Was also possible to leave luggages after check out for a few hours.

Que se fue la luz dos horas y creo deberían invertir en una planta de luz ya que sin luz no hubo agua ni ventiladores, el calor asi no es soportable y lo último revisen sus aires no enfriaba mucho fuera de eso todo excelente

We had an incredible 5-night stay at Casa Aymara - from the moment we walked in, the property is serenely laid out with quaint aparthotel-style suites and shared pool in the middle. The suite itself was very clean, had great amenities and plenty of little baskets for organizing belongings. From kitchen utensils, hair dryer, A/C, drying rack on balcony, a safe for valuables, drinking water - the list goes on - everything we could think of was provided onsite. While the location is off the main La Punta strip, it’s well-located between Zicatela and easy to walk everywhere. We socialized with some of the other guests and ended up spending a good portion of our vacation hanging out with them. The host, Sergio, also accommodated a late check-out due us having a late night flight, which was really appreciated. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Aymara to any duo looking for a relaxing, quiet and well-kept stay in La Punta at an unbeatable price.

There was nothing we didn’t like! Only feedback is the bath towels were quite dry, crispy feeling and irritated skin a bit, but that’s not a complaint - everything else was perfect.

The property was a short walk from the beach and into the main town. It wasn’t luxurious but clean with a comfy bed and plenty of amenities supplied. Sergio was great with us and gave us some great recommendations, always very available at any time via WhatsApp.

I wouldn’t say this was a luxurious place to stay but rather more on the basic end. However being a property near the beach this is sometimes all you need.

Casa Aymara is beautiful! Great location on a quiet street, next to the beach and close to lots of cafés, bars and restaurants. The beds are huge and super comfortable. The shower is great, with good water pressure (we were ground floor). Bonus: The pool is bigger than it looks on the photos! We would definitely stay again.

Amazing value for money. Extremely clean, great pool, attentive staff and great location. The owner allowed us a late check out and helped us with anything we needed. It’s in a very quiet location but close enough to the Main Street of Punta.

Nothing - the only issue was that there was a black out but that is not within the accomodation’s control.

Location was great. The room was comfortable and the water pressure was great. The pool was well maintained. We liked the free drinking water too. The hammocks on the lounge area were a nice touch. Sergio let us check out late to coincide with our flight and found us a great driver to the airport.

Great place to stay if you are planning your visit to Puerto Escondido! Calm location at walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops of Punta. Hotel staff were very helpful too.

Stunning property. Very close to beach and about 10 minute walk to main restaurants and bars. Pool area nice and amenities provided were good.

Very noisy overnight with roosters/ dogs. Shower head needed replacing and no body wash provided. Unfortunately communication with host on this platform was difficult

Rooms are big and comfortable. Pool area is really relaxing and quiet if you’re looking for a chill day. We had an issue with our room and our host was very responsive in making it right. Also, you’re 5 minute walk to the beach for sunset and it’s not as crowded as the main area! There’s a beautiful orange cat (a stray) that hangs around the property, he is the sweetest. I bought wet food to feed him while I stayed as he was a hungry little guy! He made my stay very special :)

It’s definitely walking distance to La Punta main strip, it’s at least 15-20 minutes from here to the end of the strip. We had an ATV so it worked out well for us.

Everything is super clean and accesible, beach is right in front of the villa, motorcycle rentals nearby, as well as beach clubs and restaurants. Perfect location and very clean rooms.

Power went out our last day and had no electricity or AC which was tough but that was the only con.

La cocina estaba algo sucia y es algo escasa. Las sábanas estaban algo amarillas también. Mucho calor en el baño.

The place is beautiful and clean. There is free water but you need to get it from downstairs and fill your cooler/jug. Very convenient to rent a scooter from them. There is hot water. The place is close to the volleyball courts where people go there to play and watch the sunset. It is also about 10-15min walking from La Punta strip.

El lugar está muy bien cuidado, las instalaciones, la recámara, todo está muy bien. El servicio es self-service. Llegas a la zona de restaurantes, tiendas y bares de Punta Zicatela en 10 minutos caminando. Playa a 5 minutos caminando. Y está en una zona muy tranquila, para descansar. Viajé en diciembre, que no hacía tanto calor, por lo que pude caminar por todos lados sin necesidad de alquilar vehículo, scooter o cuatrimoto.

Aunque está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila, muy en la mañana puedes escuchar el canto de un gallo que para lo que tenemos el sueño ligero, recomiendo lleven tapones para poder descansar adecuadamente.

Tuve mucho miedo, como mujer sola no lo recomiendo, está en una calle muy oscura, alejado de los restaurantes y bares. Hay una caravana abandonada en la puerta del hotel que asusta bastante de noche. 100% no lo recomendaría a mujeres viajando solas. La puerta del hotel nunca está cerrada cualquier persona puede entrar.

Great location — just far enough away to be quiet but plenty close enough for walking to town. Sergio went above and beyond to be helpful where needed! I would stay here again.

Me gustó mucho el hotel, la pieza supeeer amplia y bien equipada la cocina. La cama extra grande y el baño muy rico. Tenía terraza en el techo por lo que podías subir a comer o tomarte algo en las noches, la piscina cuenta con reposeras de uso común y la piscina súper rica. La ubicación del hotel me encantó, no estaba encima de la calle principal por lo que no tenía todo ese ruido 24 horas, pero literal quedaba a 5 minutos caminando. Nos ayudó mucho que el anfitrión nos dejara entrar un poco antes a la pieza dado que estábamos llenos de bolsos y mucho calor.

Location was great. A 5 minute walk from the main strip ensured that the property was quiet. The king size bed was comfortable and the shower water was warm. A secret highlight were the cats around the property! We have stayed in Punta Zicatela many times, and loved the location.

One night we had some noisy neighbours, but it was the exception to a fantastic stay.

Very nice room and bathroom. Loved to sit on the balcony or get a dive into the swimming pool. The swimming pool was not big, but definitely not small. Not far from the beach, and not far from restaurants.

There was a bit of a petrol smell while sitting in the swimming pool in the morning. The bed was limited by a concrete table, and was a bit too short for me (190). Luckily wide enough to lay down diagonally.

Sergio es súper amable, nos ha ayudado con todo lo que hemos necesitado. Proporcionan repelente de mosquitos y crema de sol en las zonas comunes. La piscina está genial. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todos los bares y restaurantes pero lo suficientemente lejos para tener tranquilidad.

The building and my room were so clean, well-maintained and safe. Check-in was smooth! The host was very kind and communicative! The location was so close to the beach! It was in a quiet area just walking distance from the main strip, so you get the best of both worlds.

Great location, Sergio the host was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. The room was great, clean and organized with everything we needed. Great AC. the pool is nice and cool, very calm vibe. about 6-10 min walk from the main road, and a few min from the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed making breakfast in our kitchen and eating in the shared patio on the roof. Highly recommend! We will definitely come back!
