La casa era tutta x noi, spazi ampi e confortevoli, arredati con gusto e semplicità. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. C'era una stufa a legna, i letti molto comodi, la cucina molto attrezzata.

We liked the size, décoration, cleaness, easy entrance, friendly and réactive host, many kitchen ustensiles and condiments.

We would have appreciated a curtain for the kids room because there is no door. And a bathroom door that doesn't make loud noise to open and close so we don't disturb the kids sleeping, and to be able to open the bedroom window to get fresh air in the morning.

Perfektní lokalita, tiché příjemné místo u jezera, vybavení skvělé, komunikace skvělá, domácké prostředí, perfektně vybavená kuchyň kromě myčky. Ale to nám nevadilo, pračka, bojler s teplou vodou, velmi teplo, příjemné posezení v obývacím pokoji i na terase. Děkujeme.

Domek zlokalizowany blisko jeziora, przy drodze Lulea - Kiruna; 12 min samochodem do centrum Kiruny. Cicha okolica, domek ma wszystko, czego potrzeba na przystanku w podróży.

A peaceful place to stay. Good enough to stay for a night.

We didn't realize that the two bedrooms were connected and that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom. This made it a little inconvenient for two couples. Also, there wasn't any hand soap or shower gel left in the dispensers.

The house has absolutely everything you need. It is a bit remote from Kiruna which makes it a perfect place for relaxing in the nature and enjoying the auroras if you have your own car. Although we never saw the owner, he was extremely helpful and responsive. Thanks again we had a wonderful stay.

Ubicación excelente para ver auroras.El entorno natural donde está. Buen sistema de calefacción, pese al frío exterior, dentro de la casa se está confortable. Abundante menaje de cocina.

It’s a little east of town and so quiet and easy to find. Plenty of space for kids to play outside!

I didn’t realize there wasn’t a dryer so boots were a little hard to dry once wet but we figured it out.

Het huisje was meer dan we hadden verwacht. Alles was keurig netjes , er was ook aan alles gedacht. We hebben nergens “naast” gegrepen, Alles was aanwezig, zelfs een sleetje voor de kinderen. Het was heerlijk. Zelf kunnen koken… Wat blokken hout voor de openhaard… alles stond voor je klaar. De bedden sliepen ook heerlijk. Wifi aanwezig. Je kon zelfs wat streamen naar de tv, voor als de kids even uitgeput waren van het spelen in de sneeuw We hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf, en zouden dit huisje zeker aanraden bij anderen.

Het warm water wordt aangeleverd via een grote boiler. Het is dus kort douchen. Maar, als je bedenkt dat in veel faciliteiten douchen en wc buiten zit, is dit echt een luxe dat je dat in je eigen huisje hebt. Korter douchen is ook nog eens beter voor het milieu 😉

The water for showers was a bit cold, the fridge would be more convenient in the kitchen and the glass cabinet in the kitchen with all the cups and glasses were shaking every time you walk near by

Overall, we really did enjoy the house. As a family of 4, we stayed there just after Christmas in winter. It was very cozy, clean and well equipped. There was enough amenities in the kitchen, which was handy. The house was also very well heated it was never cold. What you need in winter!! There's also a nice fireplace. Note this house is about a 10 minute drive to the town of Kiruna. It's also very close to a beautiful lake, which is frozen in winter - spectacular. You definitely need a car, so hiring a car is essential.

The lighting in the bedroom was a bit dim. I found the host nice enough, though a bit dry in some of the answers, and it took a while to respond to some questions. The shower was a bit poor, but the worst was the hot water tank. It was not enough for 4 people, so you had to take showers at different times, bit inconvenient. Also, there were no instructions for the washing machine/and plugs between the hot water boiler and washing machine - pretty standard and common sense for a host to provide for travellers. Why wouldn't you just explain it easily on a laminated sheet of paper? Instead, we're trying to second-guess and waiting for responses. Also, a bit of warning: the house is in a bit of a semi-isolated area. That part is fine. But trying to find the house at night, in winter, with a car rental is a bit daunting, as a foreigner who is not used to these conditions. The 'street' is very tight, as there is snow and ice all around. And even with Google Maps, it was tricky finding the street and house in the dark. Kiruna gets dark after 2.30pm in winter. I found it very odd the host/owner didn't explain the position of the house in more detail.

The house is lovely, cozy and perfect! It is warm and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen and we have found all the facilities we needed. The location could not be better. Conveniently close to the city center (15min driving distance), but far enough away to provide the best view of the Northern Lights. We were able to appreciate them literally from our front door, combined with the rustic mountain scenery. It was magic! The owner is attentive and responds to chat in seconds, and the neighborhood is very friendly. They warned us when the auroras appeared very strong. I spent unforgettable moments with my friends. Thank you so much for providing this. Looking forward to returning!

Utmärkt läge en mil utanför Kiruna. Mysig och hemtrevlig stuga. Trevlig värd som är lätt att kommunicera med.

Några saker var trasiga. Toasitsen och spisknappar till exempel.

The location was beautiful. Away from the city of Kiruna so only useful if you have a car. But it was so beautiful that we could just see the auroras outside our window. Has all facilities needed for a few nights in Kiruna.

The hot water is the biggest problem. Every 2 showers with limited use its empty. And then there is no hot water even in the sink. Big problem when you are with 5 people in the winter. Also the property is relatively old now and it is visible everywhere.

De bedden waren prima. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het huis.

Volgens mij is de eigenaar bezig met renoveren, maar er is nog een hoop te doen. Vooral de buitenkant en bepaalde delen van het huis vragen nog aandacht. Er is maar 1 slaapkamer in dit huis. De andere 2 bedden staan in de woonkamer en in een hal. Het huis staat dichtbij de snelweg en de omgeving is erg rommelig.

Lovely cabin in nature, surrounded by a few other cabins, the forest and a large lake. The cabin is spaceous, cozy, clean and very warm. The bed is confortable, the hot water was never scarce and the in-hous toilet and shower were ok. Large fully equiped kitchen, dinning area and lounge room. The porch was lovely for morning coffees and spotting northern lights from the confort of staying at home. Lovely walks from the cabin and dog sledding tours 5 minutes away. I can only recommend!

Close to nature and town. Basically all you need is provided in the house.

Shower need a bit of maintenance. There should be 2 bedrooms, but actually it is 1 bedroom and 2 beds. One in the livingroom and one in a space between the livingroom and the bathroom. For us not a real issue but for others it can be. Als one has to take notice of the fact that a road with reasonable heavy traffic going south is nearbye.

The surroundings is dark enough to see the northern lights. Kitchen was well equipped and living area pleasant. Parking was convenient and it was easy to check in.

The toilet facilities could have been better

Excellent location, lovely and well-equipped house. The facilities available exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic stay as a family (two adults, two children). I highly recommend this place.

Great house, beautifull place. You can rest in quiet of Lapland.

It was a real pleasure to check in after 31 hours of driving. The host had already preheated the house nicely (the outside temperature was -34 degrees) and you immediately felt comfortable. We lit the small fireplace and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, right on a huge lake, surrounded by great forests. The host is very friendly and helpful, organizes almost everything you want and responds very quickly to inquiries. In short: We are very satisfied and would love to come back.

This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

A heated clothes dryer (torkskåp) will be beneficial but for the price of the cottage, we understand there is none there.

Position top for sightseeing and nature! Big cozy house for couple and groups! The staff helped us to plan the snowmobile tour and city pick up!

With the renovation (on going) of the bathroom, the house will be perfect!

Beautiful little cottage, nicely renovated and decorated. Comfy beds and sofa, fully equipped kitchen, and a charming wood-burning stove. The host was proactive and helpful, responding to any questions or issues very quickly.

It was a bit difficult to find the road from the main road when it's dark in the Kiruna winter, but Google Maps had the location down accurately.
