Pleasure Resort Izu Akazawa Onsen

The day onsen building was superb, very beautiful environment! The building was simple but the recreation room was very nice. There's no restaurant in this building either but there are a few vending machines and microwaves to use.

We were not aware the booking was of Red28, another hotel building and not the main onsen hotel. It was confusing and we did not know how to get there until we got lost a few times. The room we got had a particular odor to it. A little off putting. We tried to open the window but the screen was broken so a lot of bugs flew in. There's a men's washroom on the third floor and females on the second floor, none in the room, so we have to walk around to take a break. Also no showers in the building so in summer after walking to the onsen and back, you'll be covered in sweat again. It's also quite far to walk to the other facilities besides the onsen building so because we checked in late due to poor weather, we were unable to use any other facilities.

Location in a lush forest. Multiple activities available - good for families with children and teens. Bowling, game rooms, hot deep sea water spa, day spa with many services. Good breakfast. Location near several beautifu beaches.

The property is very large with scattered buildings - you have to walk or drive to get to the various areas. In hotel Red28, the shared toilets for men and women are on different floors.

Les onsen et spa, les restaurants, la chambre propre, confortable et spacieuse.

Toilettes partagés OK mais Toilettes femmes à un autre étage... pas possible... surtout au milieu de la nuit... du coup je suis quand même allée au toilettes hommes. Pas de salle de bains/douche ni dans la chambre, ni dans le bâtiment, ceci n'était pas spécifié sur booking. Cela aurait pu ne pas être gênant si l'accueil de l'hôtel était capable de donner des info fiables : même en insistant à l'accueil on nous a dit que pas possible de se laver avant 10h du matin et après 9h du soir..... après 24h sur place et avoir par nous même entrepris de visiter tous les bâtiments du complexe... il y avait un second onsen ouvert toute la nuit ... à 15 min à pied de la chambre. Sinon, pas d'ascenseur pour monter les bagages en chambre au 3 ème étage! Impossible de prendre son petit déjeuner de 7h à 8h... file d'attente de plus d'une heure ... problématique quand on a des impératifs trains.

設施老舊 四星似乎是年紀有那麼久遠了一點 周邊新的設施 應是屬於新的園區的規劃 但飯店本體用四星確實言過其實 餐廳安排有待加強，讓客人等半小時以上候位，應有更合理的分流安排

Нас заселили в общежитие, где туалет на этаже и нужно было постоянно спускаться на второй этаж, чтобы сходить в туалет((( Почему не пишут на сайте, что маленькая комната находится в другом здании и до него нужно ехать

1泊2日でしたが、2日とも温泉施設、レジャー施設が利用でき、滞在中も楽しめること。一部施設では、ドリンクが提供され、お財布にも優しい。敷地は、広いが循環バスがあり移動にも配慮されている。朝食も心がこもった料理で他のテーブルからも美味しいねと聞こえてきました。

スモークツインで予約しましたが、ホテルとは別棟になっており、温泉、食事は、外に出て移動することになっていた。予約時にはそのような記載はなく当日面くらいました。廉価で利用できるということで納得しておりますが、予約画面での表記には不信感すら覚えます。別棟は、トイレは、共同となっており、浴衣等もなく事前にわかっていれば準備できたと思います。部屋は、個別空調で快適でしたが、廊下の声は聞こえるし、廊下でタバコ臭がすると部屋にも入ってきます。ホテル側は、Red28と言われる別棟についてもう少し詳細を記載すべきだと思います。

So many things to do at this resort. Bowling, deep sea spa, day spa, regular public baths. The restaurant at the day spa was good and the breakfast equally delicious at the hotel. Free drinks in the Deep Sea lounge as well as darts and pool and other games. The room was huge and the views spectacular. A shuttle bus to take you between places, including Izu Kogen station. I will return every time I come to Japan. Minimum 2 nights but I could stay 5-7. Fabulous ,fun place. I was alone but still loved this resort. Next time with friends! Great place for families too.

Japanese check in / reception lady was very condescending. And one of the shuttle bus drivers also Japanese obviously did not like his job. Very unusual to encounter unpleasant Japanese people. However the lady in the breakfast restaurant Ishikawa san and the man in charge were lovely and great at their job. As were the staff from Nepal and Myanmar. Shame that 2 people let down their hotel with unpleasant service. Might I say it wasn’t just me as a foreigner, one Japanese lady I spoke to said they were nasty to her as well.

夕食の会席がおいしい上に健康的で、お腹いっぱい食べたのに体重が増えなかった。朝食のバイキングもおいしく、毎朝出されたフレッシュジュースがしぼりたてでおいしかった。 コーヒーが22時まで自由に飲めた上に、コーヒーそのものがおいしかった。レベルが高い。 お風呂のお湯が非常に上質だった。日帰り温泉室施設が無料で利用できたが、非常に良かった。食事もおいしく、リーズナブルな価格で昼食、おやつに最適だった。オーシャンビューの麻雀室が無料で利用できてよかった。

特には無いが、あえて言うと、布団を敷いたり上げたりすることを自分でしなければならなかったのはちょっと大変だった。また、エレベーターが客室数と比べてやや小さく、混んでいるときは待ち時間が長った。朝食時も宿泊客が混んでいるとレストランでかなり待たされた。

場所が良く、施設も綺麗、食事も美味しいです。 温泉目的だったので温泉は言うまでも無く良いです。 思ったよりも敷地内で利用できるサービスが多く、早めにチェックインしてゆっくりするのに向いていると思いました。現時点だとボーリング2ゲームまで無料、お酒をセルフで作って飲み放題なラウンジなどがありました。ボーリングは館内浴衣はNG、ラウンジは外用スリッパに履き替えれば浴衣OKでした。 ただラウンジは子供も利用できるので時期によっては賑やかになるかもです。

食事の際のスタッフが最悪です。ネームプレートに「研修中」とかは無かったのでおそらく経験あるスタッフかと思いますがとにかく酷かったです。 夕食では出される食事に説明無し、いくつか調味料の小皿が出されているがどの料理をどれで食べるかなどの説明も無く、最後まで分からずなものもありました。 食事が提供される順番も出鱈目で口直しの蕎麦が終盤に出てきたりしました。 固形燃料を使うタイプの台物料理にも最初に「あとから火をつけます」などの説明が無く前半は放置。全体的に料理の提供も遅いし、「日本の料理は生でも食べられる」みたいな概念の外国の方いたら台物にあるキノコとか生で食べるんじゃないかと心配です。 あとその台物用に後から美味しい生の牛肉も提供されますが、料理の提供スピードが遅すぎるので固形燃料が消えてから届けられるお客は私たちだけでは無かったです。火が消えているにも関わらず「固形燃料追加しますね」みたいな気づきとか一言が欲しかったです。その牛肉にも生肉に触る用の箸が欲しいですがどこかのお客さんが指摘するまで提供されることはなかったです。安い宿では無いのでもう少しお客さんの立場になってサービスを提供してほしいです。 飲み物の提供が遅すぎます。対応するスタッフの数が少ないのか、会場が3Fと4Fに分かれているのが原因なのかわかりませんが遅いです。大体のお客さんは最初にお酒で乾杯をしてから食事を始めますが後から来たお客さん席を見ると最初に飲み物を注文してから提供されるまで体感10分くらい待たされていました。食べ物が目の前にあるのに「待て」された犬みたいで可哀想でした。 私たちも二度目、三度目の飲み物の注文をしますが、注文してから20分〜30分待たされる感じでした。 食事提供も飲み物提供も遅く、途中で寝てる方やスタッフを探しに会場を出て行かれる方などもおり、なかなかすごい光景でした。 別件で、温泉からの眺めは個人的に日帰り館の方が開放感があって好きです。 別館に泊まりましたが食事会場や温泉まで遠いです。 “別館4F→2Fまで降りる→そこそこ長い連絡通路を歩いて本館→温泉3F”みたいな感じでした。いい運動になりました。

部屋からの景色が素晴らしかった。部屋も広く、天井も高くて心地よかった。

南館に宿泊してて、ロビーや温泉へ行くのに少し距離があった。

The privacy, and the difference between the activities

They don’t have any halal food because of that I couldn’t stay more than 1 day, every thing contains pork or alcohol, even the ice cream contains alcohol. This is very bad for me as a Muslim.

チェックインした日はもちろん、翌日も施設を利用できるホテルは初めてで感動しました。 支配人の神対応も素晴らしい。

日帰り温泉館まで外を歩かず行けるのは良かったが、階段のアップダウンが高齢者には大変。 アメニティのレベルアップに期待

海が見えて露天風呂付きの大浴場がとてもよかったです。夕食も美味しいでした。チェックアウト後も日帰り温泉の方を利用できるところもお得感があります。

南館の部屋を利用していたため、ロビーやレストラン、大浴場に行くまで2回エレベーターに乗っる必要があります。忙しい時間帯だとエレベーターを待つのがちょっと大変でした。

The facilities was amazing

部屋が広く綺麗で落ち着けました。

主人が喫煙所が屋根なしの外で、冬の雨風の日にあそこで吸わせるとは…と不満タラタラでした。

部屋も広く、オーシャンビューで景色が抜群でした。お風呂も日帰り用のお風呂が別棟にあり、そちらも使えたのでお得感がありました。

朝食がバイキングだったのですが、8時行ったら混み合っており30分待たされました。さらに無くなったおかずの補充も遅く食べられないものもありました。これなら時間制にしてほしかったです。食事は美味しかったので残念です。これでかなりマイナスになると思います。予定がずれますので。

夕食、朝食ともに気合以上に美味しく、丁寧な接遇で気持ちの良い時間を過ごすことができた。また、関連施設の赤沢スパを利用できたことは大変良かった。

The view from the room, and sitting in the outdoor onsen at dawn were worth the price of admission. So much unadvertised free stuff also came with the room - games at the bowling alley, unlimited free drinks in the free billiard and darts room, breakfast included for free. The staff were super nice, and the facility was almost empty of other guests. The onsen is utterly beautiful

The property is in a state of transition - I suspect it has been taken over by a new well-funded owner. Much of it is tired and in need of renovation and updating. There was major construction going on to the property which we had to walk through and around. Although construction noise was minimal, it was present. There was no warning of or explanation for this chaos, and it was difficult to know where to go on arrival. Some of the free facilities were on another property that was 15 minutes walk away. Although there were shuttles available, it wasn’t immediately obvious where to catch them or when they went.

エレベーターの故障があり、風呂から上がった母をおんぶして部屋の階まであがってくれた。 食事階への階段の上り下りが困難な母のために、部屋まで食事（コース料理）を運んでいただいた。 お料理もとても美味しかったです。 お風呂からの眺めも最高でした。

Superb, wonderful view!

Perhaps the fact that they were renovating it. From the outside it didn't look pretty. But once inside, you didn't think about it. It was quiet and the view is stunning! Staff very friendly!

The location, views, onsen facilities, and free 3 games at the bowling alley! The staff is young but courteous and helpful. We got the western style room with tatami area and ocean view. It was a very lovely stay! We liked it so much we extended our stay for an extra night. We did not try out their restaurant or breakfast. We are picky with the food quality and have been let down by many other hotel's breakfast on this trip so we didn't want to gamble on it here. But, maybe we'll try out their breakfast on our next stay. If you have a car, there are a ton of restaurants within 5 kms you can pick from at super affordable prices.

Looks like they are going through a lot of renovation and construction, hopefully things will get wrapped up soon. Their onsen facility is grand with many different options but there are some parts of the facility that is also getting renovated. It made it harder to fully relax when you can see construction warning tape roping off part of the outdoor air onsen.

The onsens for individual genders were massive, the other buildings with extra activities like games and bowling were fun, workers were friendly,

We could not enter the coed onsen with more than 2 tattoo patches to cover tattoos. But the single gender onsens had no issues with tattoos. For a resort that said food was included, no food was included. If you wanted drinks you had to hike up the street to get one and could not leave with the glass. The busses was complicated due to there being two sides of the metro and no oje explained pickup was on the other side of drop off.

いつもは日帰り温泉に行っているのですが、今回は家族を連れて2泊させて頂きました。施設自体の老朽化は否めないものの、部屋の広さやスタッフ様のサービス面は非常に良かったです。お風呂が素晴らしいのは言わずもがなですが、朝食のアジフライは本当に絶品でした！他のも非常に美味しくとても満足出来ました！また利用させて頂きます。

改装中の為日帰り入浴施設の方が使えないので楽しみにしていたので残念だった今回は本館ではなく南館でしたので移動が大変だつたエレベーターの階数間違いなど

It was unfortunate that the pool, the gymnasium, and the deep sea onsen were all closed while I was staying there. There was also a typhoon which meant the beach was undesirable. Closing this many facilities at once was a poor choice. It leaves guests with little to do except use the hotel onsen.

This hotel is located at a very picturesque place, facing the ocean and the seacoast. The onsite onsen is beautiful, especially its outdoor part with the ocean view.. Breakfasts are great, with variety of options. Having free shuttle bus between the hotel and Izu-Kogen station is helpful, though has its nuances.

The shuttle bus is running under quite a weird schedule, not well aligned with the trains schedule at the Izu-Kogen station. With the check-out time at 11:00, having the nearest bus at 11:40 is quite a debatable solution. The biggest disappointment was the closed outdoor pool, even though on the Booking it was displaying as available at the moment of reservation. In fact, that pool was one of the reason to choose this facility among others, because our kids wanted it so much. Unfortunately, the management decided that “it’s only for summer”, regardless of this September being as hot as previous couple of months. No common sense and logic, just a stupid blindly followed rule. Even if so - keep your property info on the Booking up to date and do not mislead your guests. One more cons - it’s forcing the guests to prepare the bed places (futons) by themselves. We came there to rest, not to continue our usual home routine with making up the beds. I could understand it in case of some cheap hotels with minimum service, but come on, not here. All in all, the great place was spoiled by the poor management.

お部屋からの眺めが素晴らしく、お風呂も良かったです。 夕食では大変丁寧に作ったお食事を提供していただき、大変満足しました。また利用したいと思います。

日帰り温泉の施設が工事中で使えなかったのがとても残念です。また、岩風呂のスチームサウナも故障中で使用できず、残念でした。これらの施設が利用できない期間中の特別サービスのようなものがあれば良かったかもしれません。

南館に宿泊しましたが、お風呂やレストランが遠かった事です。初めてのところなので分からず予約をしましたが、部屋のリクエストをすれば良かったと後悔しています。ちなみに障がい者手帳を所持している人が2名いて困ってしまいました。

日帰り温泉館のレストランを 利用しました。 以前は料金を部屋付でしたが 今回できなくなっていました。 財布など持参していなかったので 部屋迄取りに行きました。 事前に説明が欲しかった。

ロケーション、温泉共によかったのですが 何より食事が驚くほど見事でした。 味、質、スタッフさんの感じの良さすべて。

あの規模ながらエレベーターが一基だけということ位です。たいした不満ではないですね。

La vue etait jolie

- au prix de la chambre, nous nous attendions a la chambre onsen privatif, ce n'etait pas le cas. - des futons pas fait, nous avons du les faire a notre arrivee nous meme contrairement a d'autres hotel a des prix nettement inferieurs - vetuste de la chambre. Nous n'avions pas l'impression d'etre dans un 4 etoiles! Papier peint qui se decolle, rideau de douche en plastique etc - au petit dejeune, peu de choix occidental. Pas de pain a griller, pas de fruits. - location d'un onsen privatif possible, 3000 yen, mais en plein soleil, pas d'ombre, eau limite bouillante

スタッフさんがとても感じがよかった。 宿泊者は隣接の温泉館の利用もでき、そこの海を眺望する露天風呂の景色が圧巻でした。 駐車場もわかりやすく停めやすかった。

朝食ブッフェレストランのキャパシティーが比較的小さいのか、ある時間は混雑し30分ほど待つことがあるが、希望なら順番がきたら部屋にコールしてもらえるので部屋で待機していることもできる。

料理は美味しく、部屋も清潔でした
