It is located in a quiet spot of the Hanok Village, but still very central to all of the hot locations to visit. There is a trail along the river about a one minute walk from the Hanok and more restaurants than you can count within a 5 minute walk! The AC unit in the room was amazing. Getting to/from the bus and train stations was very simple. Cannot recommend this stay enough. I will definitely be back to Jeonju and hope to stay here again!

Le logement est dans une rue calme, un peu caché ce qui était très bien pour nous. Nous étions seul ce soir là à avoir réservé ce qui a rendu notre expérience d'autant plus agréable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Les hôtes étaient vraiment adorables, hyper accueillants et bienveillants. Ils nous ont également beaucoup aidés en nous trouvant un taxi pour notre départ, ce que nous avons énormément apprécié. 🥰 Nous recommandons absolument ce logement, tant pour l’accueil que pour la gentillesse des hôtes. Encore merci pour tout !

Logement atypique dans un hanok dans une petite chambre minimaliste avec des futons. Les propriétaires sont adorables et ont été aux petits soins pendant le séjour ! Idéalement placé dans le cœur du village de hanok de Jeonju. Tous les points touristiques peuvent se faire à pied. Le lieu est adorable et charmant tout en étant très calme.

Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage perfekt im Hanokviertel, aber ruhig und nahe vom Fluss. Wir hatten ein Hanok mit Futon, der war schon etwas dünn und dementsprechend ab einem gewissen Alter nicht ganz schmerzfrei zum erwachen. Insgesamt aber wunderbar

Le logement est idéalement situé, proche de tout ; nous souhaitions être logé dans un hanok pour vivre cette expérience, et cela nous a beaucoup plu. Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins et nous avons apprécié ces échanges (en Anglais et via les applications de traduction). le logement se trouve juste derrière la caserne des pompiers (119), ce qui rend sa localisation beaucoup plus facile dans le dédale des petites ruelles.

Man hat sich sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Der Außenbereich ist liebevoll und mit vielen Blumen hergerichtet. Die kleine Gemeinschaftsküche hält Kaffee und Tee, Bananen, Toastbrot und Marmelade bereit. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Traditionell sehr einfach gehalten. Wir hatten eines der wenigen Zimmer mit richtiger Matratze gebucht, das haben wir nicht bereut! Es hatte sogar vor der Tür noch einen kleinen Tisch und zwei Stühle. Die Lage ist genial - nicht weit von der Bushaltestelle, am Rande des Hanok-Dorfes und mit direktem Einstieg zum Walkway am Fluss (hier kann man super joggen!). Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und interessiert und geben viele Tipps. Geniales Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Nous avons était accueilli très gentiment. L'hôte nous a cédé sa place de parking et nous a aidé pour nos valises. Nos chambres étaient spacieuses et propres avec une avancée sur la cour. Le logement est parfaitement situé et le petit déjeuner léger mais suffisant.

The rooms were very clean. The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms were around a pretty courtyard. A lovely hanok experience.

L’accueil ils sont très accueillant ils vous conseille , vous appelle un taxi au moment du départ top , l’endroit au top au cœur du village hanok , et je l’ai trouve sublime et pas cher c’est une super adresse je reviendrais ♥️

Tout: l’accueil intimiste, des explications des visites à effectuer avec la remise d’une carte. La petite cuisine partagée, l’emplacement bien évidemment et l’authenticité dans un écrin de modernité. Notre hôte nous a réservé in grand taxi retour avec nos nombreux bagages.

The stay in a traditional hanok property was interesting. The first room we were allocated was a little small but the owner moved us into a slightly larger room for the next 2 nights as we were there 3 nights in total. There is a small communal kitchen space where you can make a coffee and bread provided for toast. On the last day the owner provided a hard boiled egg and some apple for our breakfast which was very kind. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom is compact but works. Toiletries were provided. Most people only stay 1 night for the experience.

The first room was a little too small.

Enorm vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Ze gaven tips over wat je in Jeonju kan doen en waar je goed kan eten. De kamer was heel schoon en het bed lag prima. De ligging is centraal en je kan alle hoogtepunten bekijken op loopafstand.

한옥마을에서 가까워서 좋았고 간단한 아침을 먹을수 있어서 좋았습니다. 주인부부께서 친절하셔서 좋았습니다.

The owner

Neat, peaceful hanok stay on the edge of the hanok village. Made it a lovely spot, without the crowds in the lane way at all hours. The owners were lovely.

For personal preference the bed was slightly firm for me. Was not a futon, but a western style mattress. Still much more comfortable than a futon.

I have now stayed at this Hanok hotel for the second time, which already says a lot about how much I like this place. I truly enjoyed my stay – it has everything you need, and the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and authentic. The location is also perfect, situated in a quiet area just a 2-minute walk from the city center. The Hanok itself is very charming, with a small kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you might need, which made the stay even more comfortable. The host deserves special recognition. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, took the time to show us a map of the city, and gave great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. I genuinely felt well taken care of throughout the entire stay. When we were leaving, he kindly offered us breakfast and even drove us to the train station, which was such a thoughtful gesture. My experience truly couldn’t have been better. I am very grateful to the host for providing such a warm and memorable stay. I have stayed here before and made sure to return to the same Hanok during this trip – and I would definitely come back again!

Excellent accueil, chaleureux, hôtes aimables, aidants, attentionnés, ils nous ont conduits en voiture au marché et nous ont offert un repas. Communication un peu difficile, ils parlent un peu d’anglais, on y arrive. Chambre assez grande et deux salles de bains!! Très bonne situation en limite du village hanok. Je recommande ce hanok.

Pas de draps, juste un protège-matelas et une couverture-couette légère. Apportez vos draps si besoin… Prix élevé, équivalent à un bon hôtel, sans le confort qui va avec, on paie le charme du hanok.

Struttura bellissima, in una posizione comoda e silenziosa, proprietari gentilissimi. La prima notte ho avuto il problema del cuscino troppo spesso e a volte si sentiva odore di fogna provenire dal bagno (problema abbastanza comune in Corea). Ho chiesto cortesemente al signor proprietario se poteva darmi un cuscino più fine e risolvere il problema dell’odore e la mattina dopo ha risolto subito tutto, lasciandomi in camera anche una deliziosa colazione con frutta. Grazie mille davvero, sono stata benissimo!

Staff: Run by a couple of old nanny and husband. They are very friendly, welcoming, kind and organized. Location: very strategies location, in between city and hanok village. Just next to the Cheong Yeong bridge. Bus station for city inner route just 100m away. Morning market is nearby too. Room facilities: warm and clean. Surprised with 2 restrooms within the room. 2 queen-size bed. Hot tea / coffee, banana and toast bread available, sel serves.

The mattress is quite hard which is not my cup of tea. If you like to sleep on hard type of bed, this is the place.

It was a lovely place to stay and the host was fantastic, he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay with lots of recommendations etc.

No real downsides, as long as you're okay sleeping on a traditional futon bed.

We loved everything about our stay here. Our host and his wife were the kindest, most thoughtful people. Before arriving we were given clear instructions on how to get from the bus station to the accommodation. As part of the check in process, our host gave us the history of the home, and provided great tips on where to visit and where to eat in the city. He and his wife came and dropped off some winter bedding for us, snacks and fruit. They really were just the perfect hosts. The home itself is comfortable and met all our needs. The location is fantastic. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. Wi-fi was super fast. Overall this was our favourite accommodation on this trip to South Korea. Would highly, highly recommend for anyone visiting Jeonju.

This was the COOLEST place we stayed during our 3 week Korea trip! Do not miss Jeonju, and make sure you stay here!!! The owner is so sweet, met us at check in, gave us a map, made suggestions for sights & food, made us coffee/tea in the mornings, and dropped off snacks in the afternoon. Our room had 2 beds and 2 bathrooms and a fridge and was much larger than I was expecting. Self serve kitchen has coffee, tea, and fruit available. Highly recommend this cool hanock stay, in the perfect location/walking distant to anywhere you would want to go in town!

Es muy bonito y cómodo, si buscas tranquilidad este es tu lugar, la pareja de la casa es encantadora, el señor te intenta ayudar en todo lo que puede, se defiende bastante en Ingles, sin duda han sido encantadores :)

The room was clean and the futon was comfortable to sleep in. The host was the nicest I met. Sitting us down when we first arrived to recommend us place to see and eat. Though it was stated that breakfast was not provided, but he make sliced bread and spreads available in the pantry. He even gave us fruits and snacks. Most of all, he help us call cab and walk us to the pick up point (important to us because some roads are closed on weekends at the Hanok village).

We rent a family room for 2 adults and a teenager. The room is only big enough to open up 1 large luggage after laying out the futons. Bath towels are size of face towels. Fine with us but you might want to consider bringing your own towel if this does not suit you. (Note : I do realize many home stays in Korea provide only face towels. Thus it may be a norm).

Mala koupelna s wc. Ale to na tak malem prostoru ani jinak nejde. Trochu problematicke parkovani ( na kraji Hanok village), ale s hostitelem vyreseno k plné spokojenosti. Jsou to drobnosti. Ale toto nemohu vytknout. Velikost koupelny k tomu patří a s moznosti problematickeho parkovani se musi v tomto pripade pocitat.

아기자기 하고 깔끔하고 최신식 시설이였습니다. 한옥마을 중심부에서 멀지 않아서 좋았고, 뒤에 주차할 공간도 있어서 편했어요. 침구류와 일반적 시설은 모두 깔끔하고 주인 어르신께서 친절하셨어요.

아쉬운점은 없었구요, 이곳은 호텔이 아닌 게스트 하우스 형식의 숙박시설이라고 생각하고 오면 대만족입니다. 호텔 숙박과 게스트 하우스 숙박시설의 장단점과 특징이 분명하지만, 가격대가 어느정도 있었네요. 가족여행 하기엔 안락하고 좋았습니다.

Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil avec plein d’explication sur les visites à faire, et des recommandations pour les restaurants à essayer. L’emplacement était idéal pour visiter le Hanok Village. Tout était très propre. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner offert avec divers gâteaux fruits pain …

Nous avons voulu essayer de dormir au sol, toutefois c’était inconfortable pour nous, sans doute car nous n’étions pas habitué. Nous remercions l’hôte qui a accepté de nous ajouter un matelas supplémentaire afin que nous puissions mieux dormir la nuit suivante. Un grand merci !

Der Host erklärt einem die Gegend sehr ausführlich, etwas seeeehr ausführlich. Das Haus liegt im Altstadtbereich aber in einer super ruhigen Nebenstrasse.

Der Host war später nicht mehr anwesend. Zudem ist es für mich nur so ein halbes Hanok.

J’ai fait un charmant séjour de 2 nuits dans ce hanok bien placé au Hanok Village chez ces hôtes qui ont été vraiment très accueillants et attentionnés. L’hôte m’a permis d’arriver avant l’heure indiquée et de déposer mes bagages et a pris le temps de me donner un plan sur lequel il m’a donné les attractions touristiques ainsi que les restaurants et spécialités à ne pas manquer ! La chambre était grande et propre, le lit ferme, la salle d’eau de type coréenne, le petit déjeuner correspondait à la description et l’hôte m’a mis un parapluie à disposition quand il y a eu une averse. J’ai vraiment apprécié l’accueil et si je venais à repasser dans la région je ne manquerai pas de m’arrêter une nouvelle fois à cette adresse. Je recommande pour un court séjour dans la ville.

한옥마을 입구이고 주변 길거리 주차를 이용할 수 있어서 좋았고, 주인 내외분이 친절하고, 좁긴하지만 탕비실에 바나나 라면 빵같은 것이 잘 준비되어 있어요. 한옥운 특성상 침대가 잘 없는데 여긴 침대가 있는 방이 있어서 가족 모두 편하게 이용했습니다.

Alles!! hygiene was top. Service was heel warmelijk Kamer was top Eigenaren waren zo aaridig en behulpzaam Locatie was top Zoooo schoon, geen pluisje op de grond Al en al zeer tevreden en voor herhaling vatbaar. Bedankt!!

The Hanok was very pretty. The beds were comfortable and the AC unit cooled the room nicely while we slept. The heated floors were fun. I’ve never experienced that before. The host was very friendly and helpful.

I don’t think there was necessarily anything I disliked.

Great location. Unit is warm and clean. There are tea and coffee facilities with microwave in a common clean tiny room shared by others as well. Host is friendly. Will certainly stay here again when in Jeonju. Highly recommended.

The property is a traditional laid back accommodation with simple and comfortable amenities. It was within the Hanok Village but too central that there’s too much foot traffic. It was peaceful and quiet here. The owner was hands on in treating his guests and we appreciate his efforts in making our stay enjoyable. He gave us a map and took time to explain the locations. There were enough towels and toilet paper and the pillows were comfortable. The bed was simple and clean. I would recommend this place for not only the traditional Hanok experience but also for the personal touch of the owner in improving your overall experience in Jeonju.
