A fantastic spot surrounded by nature. The owners are incredibly kind people, and with only two wonderful bungalows, you feel pampered at every moment. You experience their helpfulness and courtesy from breakfast in the morning right through to dinner in the evening—meals prepared by the owners with love—allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Indonesian atmosphere, complete with the local colors and aromas.

La struttura è parte di una bellissima farm, gestita in modo attento e curato dai due proprietari. Sei immerso nel verde. È bellissimo, ti senti accolto dentro la natura.

Exceptional experience. The location, up on the hill, overlooking to forest and sea is perfect. The bungalows are great and the service from the hosts is exceptional. Amazing food and friendly service. Jeannie will happily take/pick up from the port. It is an excellent base to enjoy quiet evenings after a day trip to the Gilis. Highly recommended!

Such an amazing stay in Lombok! We climbed mount Rinjani and we couldn’t ask for more relaxing place after it. The room, the location and our hosts… everything were on point!! The best homestay I have ever stayed in! Jeanie and Josh are wonderful hosts who personally take care of their guests and provide everything you could possibly need during your stay, making you feel at home. The bungalows are beautiful and surrounded by nature, and there are no mosquitoes, so you can relax on the front porch until late in the evening and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Jeanie is an amazing cook who prepares delicious meals every night using fresh ingredients from her own garden. Every dish is a real treat! Jeanie and Josh, it was such a pleasure meeting you. Superbe expérience avec Stargate Villa Pintu Bintang ! Les hôtes nous ont super bien accueilli avec une extrême gentillesse. Le dîner était divinement bon, notamment le riz bleu qui était excellent. Je recommande !!

La balancelle à côté, la vue, le ventilateur en plus de l’air co, la gentillesse de l’hôte, les dindes et le chien gentil !

Il y avait 2 geckos à l’intérieur, et l’un d’eux criait souvent la nuit.. et l’autre était au dessus de nous.. lorsque nous ne sommes pas habitués cela fait un peu peur de dormir en sa présence. Mais tout s’est bien passé finalement.

De accomodatie heeft een prachtige ligging, waardoor je een net zo prachtig uitzicht hebt op Noord Lombok. Een oase van rust. De huisjes zijn erg charmant en voorzien van alle gemakken. De hosts Jeannie en Josch doen er alles aan om je verblijf tip top te laten verlopen. Zij denken met je mee, helpen je op weg met je reisplannen en koken de heerlijkste maaltijden voor de gasten. Een echte aanrader als je het rustige deel van Lombok (tevens dichtbij de haven naar de Gili’s) wil ontdekken!

Todo. La cabaña era muy cómoda y estaba todo muy limpio. Los dueños muy majos, te ayudan con todo sin ningún compromiso, nosotros tuvimos una cancelación del barco que íbamos a coger ese mismo día y nos facilitaron otro hotel y nos llevaron hasta allí, nos ayudaron a comprar unos vuelos con una página local de ellos, etc. La comida y desayuno que prepara la dueña están riquísimos, muy recomendable cenar allí con ellos. Incluso entiende alergias y celiaquia. Trato muy íntimo porque solo tienen 2 cabañas lo que les permite darte un trato de 10. Si fuesemos otra vez gestionaría todas las excursiones con ella, es muy resolutiva.

Tsja, ik vrees dat dit veld te klein is 😄, zoveel positiefs te melden! Wat een super snelle, vriendelijke, behulpzame hosts zijn Jeane en Josch ! De combi met een super mooie ligging midden in de natuur, prachtig uitzicht maar toch binnen 10 min aan de haven voor overtocht naar Gili’s. De persoonlijke benadering, de verzorging van t ontbijt, diner, alles super vers etc. etc. Een top beleving 👍

Als je de huisjes plaatst in de omgeving en kleinschalige, persoonlijke setting zoals ze staan, viel er helemaal niks tegen.

El sitio es una preciosidad. Un pequeño oasis al lado del bullicioso puerto y pueblo de Lombok. El bungalow tiene todo lo necesario y es muy bonito y agradable. Y la terraza fuera con las vistas a la parcela de terreno invitan a quedarte unos cuantos días. La cena fue una delicia y el desayuno también. Nos organizaron en un momento la posibilidad de darnos un masaje y fue fenomenal. Nos ayudaron también con el traslado al barco. La verdad es que la pareja que lo regenta son una maravilla.

Das Personal hat uns bei allen Anliegen geholfen. Immer super schnell geantwortet und extra Wünsche berücksichtigt. Das Abendessen, sowie auch das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Man kann sich in der Unterkunft mitten in der Natur super entspannen. Es wurden einen Tipps für die Reise mitgegeben und man hatte generell interessante Gespräche. Taxi zu einem sehr fairen Preis zu unserer nächster Unterkunft wurde auch ermöglicht

Il posto è paradisiaco: solo due camera(bungalow) e la casa principale in un contesto di palme e prato e tutto intorno foresta! I bungalow sono veramente deliziosi, pittoreschi, spaziosi, forniti di tutti i comfort e puliti. C'è ovviamente grande privacy. Abbiamo apprezzato molto che ci fosse in camera il boccione di acqua, dal quale potevamo ricaricare le nostre borracce! Jeannie e suo marito sono stati gentili e disponibili per qualunque cosa(anche intolleranze alimentari) e la nota positiva più forte è stato il cibo: Jeannie cucina veramente benissimo( miglior cibo mangiato in 3 settimane in Indonesia) una cucina fusion tra Europeo e Indonesiano. Veramente top!

Jeannie is very nice and helpful. She was cooking a very delicious dinner and was preparing a very nice breakfast for us. The room was very nice and clean and also the property with all its land is lovely.

Unsere letzten 3 Nächte auf Lombok haben wir hier hier verbracht. Wir haben die Ruhe und unseren wunderbaren Bungalow genossen, das sehr gute Frühstück und die außergewöhnlichen Abendessen. Die beiden Gastgeber helfen bei allem, was man benötigt (Organisation Roller, Taxi, Wanderungen) und wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt - individuell und keineswegs Massentourismus. Auch Tagesausflüge von hier auf die Gili-Inseln sind ohne weiteres möglich. Klare Empfehlung!

Jeannie and Josh were the best hosts I’ve ever encountered. They really do put in the extra effort to make us feel welcomed. Daily dinner menu is a bonus too (Jeannie is an amazing cook!). Extended my stay for 2 more nights. Jeannie is well known in town and makes booking activities/transport very convenient.

What i liked the most is the familiar feeling. You really feel that you are welcome, that you are at home. It is really calmed, no noises, not crowded. It is a small paradise.

Very helpful hosts who arranged taxis to see the island. Jeannie was a fabulous cook for us three vegetarians. Gorgeous surroundings. Kettle and fridge in the rooms.

Great cottage, it smells good of wood. Jeannie was so helpful in every way. She made us feel comfortable right from the start. Waited for us at the port both times we needed transport or to bring us there. Wow. The food is amazing. I was heading to Senaru for the rest of my trip; she found a great scooter and I was allowed to leave two bags that I picked up on my way back to Bangsal.

Only small donwside was air conditioning. Temperature was 34C in the room when we arrived and when we came back from Gili (as obviously it was turned off upon room maintenance) and took a good 4h to reach 24C both times. Ask the owners if possible to turn it on a bit prior to arrival and keep it at a raisonnable temperature if you go out.

I liked most how Jeannie and Josh took care of us, attending to all the little details. They organized transportation for me from the airport to their place, welcomed me with dinner, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Jeannie and Josch were so welcoming and friendly - taught us all about the plants / animals on their farm, cooked for us really good food and even helped us with our ferry to Bali! Appreciate it :) The room was really pleasant as well!

Very quiet, beautiful location. Owner was very nice and helpful. Dinner was exceptional and in a very familiar environment! If we would have had more time we would have stayed longer.

Very cosy chalet up in the mountains, far from the city and the hassle. The breakfast is additional but well worth it ! The fact that there are only two is good, not like the dozens other Indonesians places have build.

The bathroom door is not fully opaque, making it a bit uncomfortable for a family like us.

Everything! Jeannie and George are the BEST! They have given us very good recommendations, very good food and also helped us with some books for boats and tours.

Villa Pinto Bintang is a hidden treasure, Jeannie and Josch made us feel so at home, the most generous and helpful hosts. Their bungalows are clean, cosy and comfortable with amazing views. Both dinner and breakfast was absolutely delicious, made with produce from their farm and the local area. Drinks were Josch’s home roasted coffee and fresh coconuts from right outside the door. Jeannie arranged a very relaxing massage in our own room at short notice, and went above and beyond to arrange an airport drop off by Mr Jahid with added stops to enjoy the local sights, he gave us a full tour and was a fantastic driver. An unmissable stay on Lombok, we hope we can return soon!

I would give 11 out of 10 if possible. One of the best places I´ve ever been. We really enjoyed time there. Jeannie was very kind and helpful, and made our staying very comfortable. She helped us manage also transfer and everything what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is a little piece of paradise and tranquility near Bangsal, Lombok’s harbor. The bungalows are spacious and very clean and they have a nice and peculiar design. Got to love the owner Josch’s no stress policy and his and his wife Jeannie’s niceness and willingness to help you (she even helped us get tickets to the Gili Islands). They offer many kinds of services, like meals, excursions, taxi service, etc., and we enjoyed the best dinner we ever had in Indonesia (everything is home made and with most ingredients from their own garden), and a really nice breakfast with home-brewed coffee. Definitely recommended, wish we stayed longer.

The place is super cozy, no hostel/hotel feeling, perfect choice to have a rest and feel home. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, beautiful clean territory for a walk, yoga, or just enjoying a cup of tea.

Everything was perfect, from the room to the fabulous hosts. We had the dinner and the breakfast at the villa because we were tired after mount rinjani and they were fantastic! The possibility to have a massage in your room is a good plus too!

Amazingly beautiful accommodation when in Lombok. The owners are the sweetest and cook the most delicious meals! We only had one night to stay here but I wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful location in the country, quiet and relaxing. The host Jeannie and her spouse are very welcoming and can help with any tours you may want in Lombok and beyond. They also offer great tasting meals, home cooked and delicious. There are only 2 cabins on the property and they are comfortable and spacious. Nice outdoor seating area and large bathroom.

Super place to stay with an amazing host. Jeannie is kind, welcoming, and has a great personality. Also, she is quick to respond on what's app, and will help you with suggestions to see the surroundings. Additionally, Jeannie dropped us at the Bangsal Port plus helped us to buy our boat tickets to Gili T. Amazing service. Additionally, the room is located in a beautiful garden with coconut trees. The room itself was splendid with a great outside shower with hot water. There is a mini fridge in the room, and the airco worked well. Overall 10/10 stay.

The only thing we disliked is the matrass. We felt the inner springs whilst laying/ sleeping on the bed. So might be time for new matrasses soon.

Unique ambiance and extremely personable hosts cultivate an intimate atmosphere that we have not experienced anywhere else. The owners genuinely care about the comfort of their guests and it makes this place such a great place to stay. The facilities, property, food, everything was just great.

There was nothing I didn’t like

It is tucked up away from the crowds, stunning scenery and so peaceful. Hosts are so friendly and very knowledgable and helpful if I wanted to do any activities or visit anywhere. Breakfast was great each morning also with a great selection. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was really comfortable too.

For us, this was the perfect place to stay after our Rinjani hike. The bungalows were super nice, comfortable and clean. Laundry service and a fantastic in-room massage were organized quickly and easily, even though it was later in the evening. The breakfast was really good and Bangsal port is only 10 minutes drive away. Jeannie and Josch are incredibly nice and helpful hosts. We would come back without hesitation.

Our stay was truly exceptional. The property's location provided us with stunning vistas of palm trees and the mesmerizing sunsets over the Gili lslands, just a short walk up the hill. Their two charming dogs and adorable cat added a delightful touch to our stay. Jeanie and Josh's hospitality was outstanding. They cooked a delicious dinner for us and went above and beyond to assist us with additional arrangements during our stay. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!"

Beautiful area and very calm surrounding. I was treated super nicely after arriving rather late. Jeannie and Josch built up a great place with a lot of heart and are on top very friendly and eager to consult with further destinations. Whether helping getting jetty tickets or tips around Indonesia. Highly recommended accommodation.

The villa is awesome and the host is really conciderate. She will confirm with our agenda in advance and give us advice about the transportation and meals. The most impressive will be the cute turkeys. They can even response to your every invoice, seems like talking with you. Very interesting experience. Recommended.

Bees are annoying in the night but that's not the hotel's problem.

We spent 5 unforgettable nights at Jeannie’s and Josh’s place. They were from the first second very welcoming and helping us to organise programs on Lombok. The food was awesome which they prepared in the main house. You will be probably the only tourist in this tiny village, so take time to explore the shops and warungs as well and support locals.

Location is close to the bangsal harbor. The room is very clean and spacious, looks much better than the photos. The host Jeannie is such an amazing person. It was very easy to communicate with her and she was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the breakfast as it was the perfect way to start our day. Wish we could’ve stayed longer

I was really happy with how spacious the property was, great for taking relaxing walks. The coolest part was having a turkey farm right there on the property, it was such a fun and unique addition. The cottages were big in size, which made them feel even cozier and comfortable. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice getaway! a must go!
