Blue Rhapsody Villa vs Similar Hotels

Spacious and well-equipped villas.

Beds and cleanliness are praised, but some rooms (attic/top floor) are cramped with low ceilings; overall the property shows wear and several guests noted renovation is needed and some 'luxury' rooms feel underwhelming.

Some remarks pointed to outdated amenities and certain cleanliness issues.

Standard quality for this hotel tier.

Multiple reviews explicitly state rooms and apartments are very clean; overall cleanliness is a clear positive though some areas show age and need light renovation.

Several reviews noted issues with kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Unbelievably beautiful location.

Beautiful setting with valley/sea views and beaches within walking distance for many, but access issues (hotel path closed requiring rock climb), steep driveway and remote location (no nearby restaurants) temper the score.

The location was frequently highlighted as stunning, with beautiful beach access.

Exceptional welcome provided by the staff.

Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and attentive (Mathew singled out for assistance); only notable service-related issue was management/camera response during a theft, but day-to-day service is strong.

Guests praised the attentive service from the host, Owen, who went above and beyond.

Standard quality for this hotel tier.

Breakfast described as simple but good, with fruits from the on-site garden; however it can be repetitive day-to-day.

The grilled fish prepared by the host was particularly praised.

Great amenities including a pool.

The pool is a repeatedly mentioned highlight (large, nicely designed, cool water up to ~2m); basic breakfast available. Some operational issues noted (towel changes), but amenities are generally very positive.

Limited kitchen supplies and some outdated equipment were mentioned.

Excellent value for the luxurious experience.

One review explicitly notes good price-performance; others felt the property did not fully match 'luxury' expectations given age and a serious security incident—overall fair value.

While some felt it was overpriced, others appreciated the location and experience.
