They helped us out with toothbrushes. And the food was very nice. The location is very nice.

The reception on arrival was a bit abnormal. The lady who received us started talking about the menu before even showing us the room or giving us the keys until we asked for it. The staff don't understand English and had to call the owner for everything they didn't understand. Pillows and blankets and towels weren't provided in the rooms for the number of people booked in and the rooms are quite run down. When I asked for pillows the lady didn't understand the word and had to call the owner and ask me to speak directly to her.Old and leaking toilet pipe. The shower was blocked and overflowing onto the floor which was quite disgusting. No hand soap was provided in the bathroom. We were given one toilet roll for a room of 3 people. The rooms don't have a kettle. The pictures and description don't really show what your experience will be like. The WiFi password wasn't shared with us.

A few minutes walk from the beach in a nice little cabana type room. Mine was ground floor. All in good condition and adequate. Breakfast (included) was really too much, more kept coming when I thought we were finished! Off street parking.

Nothing really. Only there for one night, so didn't use the pools or other facilities.

Awful experience with the management. The lady did not have manners to talk. We were even threatened of calling the police.

À part d'une dame qui faisait de son mieux pour nous être aimable.

Notre chambre était infestée de Cancrelat. Le lit d'appoint (nous étions 3) était super inconfortable. Les repas (petits déjeuners comme dîners) étaient pas très élaborés et étaient basiques. Le complex très mal entretenu. Pas contente du tout de mon séjour. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement !

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got a better room than we booked. It was clean and tidy. The location was perfect, close to everything.

Breakfasts are always the same. No variety.

Good location, convenient and very good rooms

Service has to improve, there are no electric jugs and coffee stations in rooms. Some rooms had no toilet paper even on request. No shower gels and lotions. But the facilities remains generally good

I was very impressed with a young lady called MARIA who made the BEST breafast in the Morning she absolutely gave 💯 percent Professional Service She was amazing couldn't have done anymore for her guests. Thank you Maria Your Simply THE BEST!!!!

Nothing at all.

Hygiene very bad as from the entrance. Food very very cheap, service horrible 0/10 Service very cheap as well. On dinner table only I glass per person. They use the same glass for both water and other drinks. If asked for another 1, they don't have. In the restaurant their whole family and kids come for dinner as if all of this was not enough, they are at home chatting and playing. Room very very dusty and small. Very dangerous, slopy and dirty terrace. Mattress very uncomfortable. I thinks they have been using it from decades. No snacks or drinks are available if you need any thing for the night, well you can have nothing. Overall no value for money ... for this I prefer to stay on the street at least its free and you can have nothing also for free.

Absence of staff during the day on the premise. Lack of amenities in the room. Hotel needs renovation and maintenance. We had a very bad experience during our stay due to water cut for the whole evening till the next morning which caused great incovenience.

Breakfast was average would have preferrred croissant instead of baquette. Fresh fruit was nice. Location perfect for the beach. The staff were very welcoming and eager to please.

Considering the clientel the DJ on the 31st didnt play suitable music.

Simple guest house and reasonable price so just what we needed for one night...

Mini fridge was not on but we did not need it for one night only.

Actually the price was right for two nights for an accomodation in December. They went extra mile and cooked vegetable food for me. And that also with a lot of variety for dinner. Thank you a lot to the family for this.

The breakfast is basic. And definitely improvements can be done. I did get a special vegetarian breakfast on the 2nd day because I was the only person there. That was appreciated. Improvements can be done to the overall look of the room too.

Close to the beach. Owner is hard working and she likes to make customers happy. Food is ok, but still boring after few days. I would stay next time max 2 days. Cleaning man was hard working, good guy and friendly gardener worker too. Staff is good overall. Parking spot is there to park your car. You have big pool if you prefer swimming there. We had fun.

Staff serving food. You should pick up food alone. Breakfast needs more food. Towels had stains, place has potencial, but needs some renovation. Food wasnt ready on time, when dinner should start or breakfast. Ac didnt work but we got new room downstairs. Overall its good value for what you pay. Cleaner checked us in because there were nobody at reception. A lot of stray dogs around. Skinny server is very confused while serving food and he was sent to fix AC? Of course he couldnt fix it.

Standards of the hotel. Hardly any people on premises. Poor maintenance around the pool. The food presentation was poor and too much. The hotel photo looks good on the website but not to the naked eye. It looks like an abandoned place. Not lively, no entertainment. This hotel is only if you were going to work in Mauritius or wanted a cheap accommodation to rest yourself. It's a B&B. The room smell of cigarette smoke, ants in the ceiling, smell of damp, and the shower flooded. Water doesn't go quickly while showering. The place looks very deserted. I only stayed one night after I felt uncomfortable and couldn't access the facilities, I.e. swimming, etc... this hotel has a lot of potential. I guess it is down to management. I would not recommend this hotel for holiday purposes, but only for people who are seeking employment in the country, needed accommodation.

Nice hot water available in the bathrooms. The bed was comfortable. Fascinating watching the weavers building their nests, from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff.

The property is a little tired and there is rubbish lying on parts of the property- presumably from renovations.

Unpretentious familial hospitality with the proprietors taking time to speak with guests and to understand their needs. Not for people who like the faceless, corporate international hotel brands where you may not know which country you’re in. You definitely know you’re in Mauritius here. Not only is it genuinely 2 minutes walk from a beautiful, tranquil beach, but the amazing range of cuisine gave a real taste of Mauritius’ heritages. I had originally viewed the included evening meal as a bonus in case I couldn’t find a restaurant, but it turned out to be a tasty treat for anyone who likes fresh food cooked with family recipes.

The only good thing about this place was the location to the beach.

There was no coffee making facilities in our room, There wasn't a bar on premises to buy beverages also no venting machine. The closest in our room was dirty. The pictures of this place is not a true reflection of this place.

Value and the host was very helpful and professional

The owners live near the hotel and they manage it. Nice attention - they even offered to pick me up from my previous hotel in GrandBaie, although I could have taken a taxi or bus easily. They employ a very nice Nepalese server and the pool is clean, there is wifi in the room too to my surprise. The fridge in the room, the air conditioner are very efficient and quiet. The garden is exotic and the location great as it is close to the best beach and next to Tarisa hotel for entertainment if needed. The tv functions very well. The dinner is a small buffet but had rice, chicken curry, beef stew, salad, bread, rice, dessert was ice cream, and drinks.
