Very comfortable and beautiful house.

Location was fantastic for climbing Carrauntoohill! Most bedrooms had an en suite which was brilliant. The host also left a hamper of snacks which was such a nice touch!

The house is large and was just right for the five adults and two children. The kitchen is great and easy to cook/work in. The facilities are good and Christina was great in showing us the best places to visit.

The hosts were very nice.. and the beauty of the house speaks for itself.

Location central to so many wonderful parts of Ireland, host helped us find best places for our family to eat and enjoy, and the scenery was so lovely.

I'd have to think really hard to find anything negative about the place, perhaps only that we had to leave.

Lovely property. Worked great for our multi- generational family. Grand daughters loved all the wild flowers outside. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to questions.

The house was stunning, clean, and had everything we needed. It was in one of the most beautiful areas we visited and was a great base for day trips.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Reeks Country House. It was in a perfect location to enjoy all that Killarney has to offer and also super comfy and enjoyable to relax at the house after a long day of adventuring. Christina was a marvelous host who was so kind to our kiddos and super helpful with info and things to do - we got all the best travel tips! The house is super family friendly with everything you need to self cater and enjoy a home away from home! There was lots for the kids to enjoy there too. We just loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Reeks House in Killarney. The house itself is stunning, beautifully designed, comfortable and full of charm. The location is amazing, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the perfect base for exploring Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and genuinely lovely people, which made the stay even more special. Their hospitality really stood out and they made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for beautiful accommodation in Killarney with incredible scenery and wonderful hosts, Reeks House is a perfect choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Stephanie was great! She was very helpful with everything we asked about. We had a toddler with us and she had a travel cot to offer and even put up baby gates for the stairs. The house was so spacious for the 8 of us. We had a great time in the kitchen/dining area preparing food and all eating together. She provided tons of information about things to do in the area. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in the area.

Our stay in Killarney at Reeks Country House was a highlight of our two weeks in Ireland. There were six of us and a baby in the group and the house was perfect. Clean, spacious and spectacular views just outside of town. Christina, our host, was amazing and super helpful. I am hoping we have the opportunity to go back to Killarney and if we do, we will stay here again.

Christina made us feel very welcome during our stay over Christmas. The house was decorated for the festivities and we really enjoyed her lovely treat of home made brownies.

I loved the fact that the hosts did everything in their power to make our stay very enjoyable. I was travelling with my elderly parents and they allowed us to check in a little early and the house was beautifully warm and cosy when we arrived as the heating was switched on early. They also were kind enough to allow us some extra time on the day of check out. Also we had a small issue with the heating the first evening but the hosts sorted in out very promptly the following day...5 stars

It was in a peaceful setting with lovely mountain views. We loved the delicious bread that Christina left for us. We appreciated all of the breakfast items she provided for our stay. Christina gave us excellent advice on things to not miss when we were in the area.

Christina was a lovely lady, asked before hand could we have stair gates put on has i had my young grandchildren with me this time and this was no trouble,everything was lovely about this house,views where amazing, well equipped house,everything you need for a good stay. The house is a above 8 miles outside killarney ,but worth it for the peace and quiet.

It was a beautiful house with the most amazing hosts! They welcomed us AND went to get food for us after our long day of travel. Such hospitality!!

Christina is an excellent host and had left a number of goodies for us so we did not have to go straight to the shops. The house is just beautiful, location and views of the mountains just breathe taking. The house has everything you could need, lovely large bedrooms, spotless clean, always hot water for showers.

Nothing we did not like only we would have loved to have been staying a few more nights!

This house exceeded our expectations. It was so roomy and picturesque. The hostess communicated ahead of time and met us at the door. She is so charming! The house had everything we could have needed including some treats she had waiting for us. Bedrooms were huge and very comfortable. We would love to return to this lovely country house.

The property was everything we could ask for! Lovely scenery, exceptionally quiet, well equipped, and not too far from nearby towns (Only 15-20 minute drive into Killarney). Our host Christina was excellent and very friendly, and also accommodating of our late check-in.

Beautiful spacious house, very clean and comfortable. Christina was an excellent host, very helpful and thoughtful!

We had a lovely weekend away staying in this beautiful property. The house accommodated myself , 6 adults and two small children very well. From two cots being set up for us, a highchair, playroom and toys plus homemade bread and jam left out we instantly felt at home. There was absolutely everything we needed! Thank you Christina, we'll definitely be staying again

We loved this home; Cristina was an exceptional host!

This was a perfect fit for our family of 7. We needed all bed/room combinations and it fit the bill. Christina, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even providing essentials in the fridge along with her delightful homemade bread and lemon cake.

It was our choice to stay outside Killarney; it was a bit of a drive to town. Beautiful scenery along the way, though!

Ideal size. Hostess was brilliant, friendly, and accommodating. House was well heated, comfortable and furnished. Location is central. Would highly recommend this accommodation

Kitchen is not practical. Missing counter space. Water pump is noisy particularly in middle of night. No mirrors in bedroom downstairs and downstairs bathroom needs snagging

Beautiful house for any family! We have older kids, but this place is very well suited for small children. All bedrooms, showers, and bathrooms are fantastic. The living areas allow for great fellowship. Christina is a very gracious and responsive host. She made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommended!

Christina the host was absolutely amazing. The house is set in the most beautiful place. Everything was spotless and so perfect for us.

This house is amazing! It is bright, airy, spacious with several bedrooms and bathrooms. It is great if you are traveling with kids or just traveling with a couple of adults. It is a quiet, safe area that is close to the beautiful Gap of Dunloe and the Ring of Kerry. The house has all of the amenities you need, including a washer and dryer. The owner even put out travel brochures and helped us plan our time in the area. There is so much to do you may want to plan at least a week in the area. The owner was very sweet to have freshly made scones waiting for us along with fresh free range eggs from the area. As an added bonus, when I told her I had family who had lived nearby in the early 1800’s, she not only helped to locate and drive me to my family’s ancestral home and property, but she also helped me find a distant relative still in the area. You will love this home and the owner who is a local resident in the area and super helpful in giving great tips on the best places to visit and eat. Recommend this property at the highest rating! You can’t go wrong here.

We appreciated Reeks Country Home and all the comforts it offered. It was just wonderful. A beautiful view out every window …and exquisite finishes in the home were a special treat. It felt like a 5star hotel, only much better. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful Home

This is a special home made all the more special by the lovely host, Christina. It is in the most idyllic setting and the home is spacious, well-equipped and ideal for a large group. It was also exceptionally clean. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully set up for entertainment and relaxation. And nothing is better than opening the windows to see beautiful mountain peaks. Christina also went out of her way to call ahead to a restaurant to ensure they would let us order takeout after a long day of travel. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had so many special touches like homemade bread, milk and butter waiting for us upon arrival. We had a splendid stay and would highly recommend it. Last tip….Don’t miss the Gap of Dunloe while in town…8 min drive from the property!

Nothing I can think of. As Americans used to A/C I would recommend sleeping with the windows open during summer months as the home is very well insulated.

Lovely country escape, perfect for family’s / groups with small children.

The house and grounds were amazing for a trip to Killarney. Suitable for families and close enough to all major tourist locations that you could want. Christina was extremely responsive to messages for any questions we had during the stay.

This house is perfect! We travel often and this really was one of the best property we’ve stayed at. It was in a great location that sits in the middle of the ring of Kerry. It is a short drive to Killarney National park and only a couple minute drive to the Gap of Dunloe (which we visited by car after everyone left for the day, just beautiful). The property is secluded in the countryside but just a short drive from a grocery store and several restaurants. There was a large yard that overlooks the mountains and was great for the kids to get out to play. The house was immaculately clean with the added bonus of a washer/dryer. Above all, the host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She was extremely nice and gave us scones with jam( thank you, they were delicious) We appreciate her hospitality and really enjoyed the stay. You will love it and definitely should stay here. Thank you for everything!

My wife & I and 3 other families stayed in Christina’s house for 4 nights over the June Bank holiday. The house was absolutely immaculate and so homely. Christina could not of been more kind and generous to us, had beautiful homemade scones with jam and butter waiting for us on arrival after a long journey from Donegal & tea coffee and fresh milk all there for our arrival. My wife and I had a gorgeous baby girl recently and Christina even went out of her way to get her a gift so thoughtful and so kind. Every room was beautifully decorated and so clean including all bathrooms. Christina provided cots and a small bed for the children and even installed stair gates for their safety and also provided a high chair. She went out of her way in every aspect to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay with our children. The children loved the toy room and had so much fun in here and in the large outside space. We would definitely give this home a 5 star review and would definitely return again. Thank you Christina for making our June Bank holiday a most enjoyable one. Many thanks

The cottage house was very spacious, very clean and appeared to be newly renovated. Each bedroom had plenty of room with nice bright windows. Their bathrooms were well appointed with great hot water and water pressure. The property owners provided plenty of local recommendations and were beyond gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay!
