Siamo stati benissimo🌸 Kasun e e sua moglie sono stati disponibili e hanno organizzato un Safari stupendo (il pranzo era ottimo)! Camera pulitissima, aria condizionata e tutti i comfort possibili 😍 Durante il Safari Kasun e l’autista hanno dimostrato una grandissima capacità e conoscenza del parco e anche degli animali! Organizzate il Safari con loro☀️

Our hosts were exceptionally lovely, accommodating throughout our stay. Kasun kindly took us to a hotel when he didnt have too. He arranged our safari with a lovely guide. Room, facilities were very good and clean! We had our own entrance which was lovely. Near a big temple in Tissa.

Wonderful home with kind hosts and a great dinner (string hoppers!). Big air conditioned room with a balcony. Kasum was also our guide for the national park - would recommend booking through him as our visit was great!

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The rooms feel new, everything worked perfectly (including instant hot water), and the hosts could not have done anything more for us! On the first night we went out for dinner and Kasun both dropped us off and picked us up free of charge. Him and his wife made us dinner the second night and breakfast on our last morning as well which were delicious. We also did a full day Yala safari with Kasun and booked directly for a very fair price. Kasun is a ranger for the Yala national park so was so knowledgeable about all the species we saw and knew all the great spots. He was very respectful of the animals and made the whole day relaxed, fun and full of good food. Even if we hadn’t seen all the animals we’d hoped to, this would have been the perfect day, but thanks to his local knowledge we saw 3 leopards, over 30 elephants and so many other animals. I highly recommend this perfect stay and safari.

Die Familie ist sehr zuvorkommend und der Besitzer ist sehr bemüht. Er ist gleichzeitig auch Ranger im Park und hat unsere Safari organisiert und uns dorthin begleitet. Wir haben durch sein Wissen über die Tiere viel gelernt und deutlich mehr gesehen als wir es ohne ihn getan hätten. Er kennt die Gewohnheiten der Tiere, hat ein gutes Auge für versteckte Tiere und hört schnell von den besten Fahrtrouten durch seine Kontakte. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und ordentlich gewesen. Ein später Check-in war kein Problem und wir wurden auch noch umsonst für das Abendessen in ein Restaurant gefahren.

SOFORT BUCHEN! BOOK IMMEDIATELY! 7 Sterne! Nachdem unsere Unterkunft doppelt belegt war, mussten wir abends eine andere Unterkunft suchen und haben diese wunderschöne Unterkunft gefunden. Die Gastgeber haben 7 Sterne verdient!!! Sie haben alles organisiert, damit sie uns innerhalb von 10 Minuten persönlich empfangen können. Die Unterkunft ist erst seit Oktober 2025 eröffnet und wunderschön neu und hell eingerichtet. Die hohen Decken sind traumhaft. Klimaanlage läuft mega! Wunderschön gelegen, man kann toll spazieren gehen und sogar einen alten Tempelruine besuchen. SAFARI HIER BUCHEN! Hätten wir das nur eher gewusst....unser Host leitet Touren im Nationalpark. Im Gegensatz zu unserer Tour lernt man bei ihm alles über Flora und Fauna und startet als private Safari direkt von der Unterkunft aus. Unbedingt buchen! Für unsere Tour gab es (auch wenn wir extern gebucht haben) um 5:00 Uhr morgens Kaffee. Unsere Host hat uns am Abreisetag im nahegelegenen, noch unbekannten Museum empfangen (free). Sie selbst war an den gezeigten Ausgrabungen beteiligt. Auch unbedigt das homemade Lunch/dinner dazu buchen. Ihr habt definitiv noch nie so grandios bei euren hosts gespeist. Absoluter Traum. Die Gastgeber haben sich immer, auch im Nachhinein, um unser Wohl gekümmert. DANKE!

Our stay was perfect, they offered us tea and coffee every day. The owners were so nice and friendly, the owner even drove us to the restaurant two days in a row and took us back to the apartment. He is also a tour guide at the Yala national park, and the best one at that! We saw 4 different leopards and all the other animals so we recommend going with him! We enjoyed our stay very much!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk, de kamer was comfortabel. De safari die we via hen hebben geboekt was uitstekend (de eigenaar is zelf gids). Ook het eten was heerlijk. Aanrader

Kasun and his wife were really lovely. Incredible food, air con rooms with hot water. Food great. Did tour of national park and saw leopards. Then did Mirissa and to Colombo. Very knowledgeable and really enjoyed our whole experience.

We loved our stay at Yala Grand Homestay. The rooms impress with tasteful interior design, the place is peacefully located under palm trees next to rice paddies and the owners are so helpful and friendly, they will make your stay a great experience. Kasun is very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and can take you on safari if you want. He is also a guide/driver for traveling his home country and can give you great recommendations and advice. His wife is a great cook and will make you feel right at home.

Ils peuvent vous préparé à dîner mais nous avions oublié de prévenir : il nous a conduit dans un super petit restaurant. Il a également assuré le trajet jusqu'au prochain step ! Modern clean and comfortable large room with excellent facilities in a very safe, quiet and scenic area surrounded by rice paddies. Wonderful hosts went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Access to Yala is easy and the host is a top rated local guide and driver who can arrange safaris and trips to anywhere in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious and a surprise birthday cake on arrival for my wife was extra special. 😀

Nirosha and Kasun provide a wonderful home from home, including a surprise birthday cake and celebration for me when we arrived. Kasun had already been our driver for a week, and accompanied us on a safari in Yala - a real bonus as he is a wildlife officer there. We also visited a nearby archaeological site that Nirosha helped excavate. The food was exceptional - plentiful and delicious. Especially welcoming for our teenage son - it was hard to leave!

We stayed with Kasun and Nirosha and they were amazing hosts. We were met with ginger tea and pancakes and had a big spacious room and bathroom to ourselves. Kasun organised a safari for us also where he came as out guide! He was amazing as our driver as well, he brought us to the many places we needed to go! The homestay was only about 30mins drive from Yala national park and we had a brilliant day on safari as well. They were so accommodating with everything we asked for.

Room was very spacious (could fit up to three beds), beds were very comfortable and the general cleanliness was up to standard. Host was friendly and quick to attend to my needs. I am very satisfied with my stay at Yala Grand Homestay.
