Cozy room in the attic, with everything you need for a short stay. Close proximity to the city centre and many restaurants.

The attic window needs a proper blind to cover it, too much light gets into the room once the sun rises. The nearby trams can be very loud and sometimes shake the building.

El acceso es un poco incómodo, sobre todo el último tramo de escaleras. Hay que tener cuidado.

The property is way more equipped than i expected. The location is so good, tha tram station is available in 1 minute and you can go to the city in 10-15 minutes. Everything was clean and comfortable. Tha host answered my question quickly. There was a fan in the room what cooled down the room. Affordable stay in Belgium, I would recommend:)

the stairs. i was prepared, because i read other’s comments but for the first time it was difficult to climb. after that i used to climb and had fun. The fan was a little strong for me, at the night i was cold, but if i turned off i didn’t had any air. there was no middle way to have a good temperature in the room.

Me pillo en plena ola de calor y dada la ubicación una buhardilla el aire no entraba ni daba corriente a la habitación. Tenía un ventilador pero a duras penas enfriaba la habitación. Unas tazas, platos y cubiertos para poder calentar la leche, el deaayuno la comida en el microondas. Tuve que comprar una taza porque solo habia cubiertos y vasos de plásticos Aún así esta muy bien la calidad precio y lo recomendaría.

El sitio que me convenía

La falta de información. No hay ninguna indicación en la puerta de la calle. Los códigos para entrar llegaron tarde. La última escalera hasta el ático muy estrecha y difícil de subir con uma maleta.

Nice comfy room, decent bath, it was well ventilated, everything was clean, offered a fridge and microwave for some additional perks (alongside a coffee machine I never used as I dont drink).

The stairs on the way to the room were not the most comfortable to move through as they were quite small, the bathroom being the first room you walk into is a bit bizarre and I imagine could lead to some issues if you are not alone as a guest, the area could be quite noisy at night. It could have used some some non discardable cookware, the lack of any kind of spoons was particularly jarring.

O quarto ficava no terceiro andar com uma escada super ingrime e estreita. Escada perigosa e muito difícil para subir com as malas. O chuveiro é bom, mas a cabine é muito apertada. A tv não é smart e não pegava canais locais.

Fue espacioso, muy limpio, muy cómodo, céntrico, nos podíamos hacer café e inclusive tenía refrigerador. Fue un gran lugar para descansar después de varios días de viaje sin poder dormir bien. Excelente en general.

The room was cozy like on the picture. Clean, comfortable, fridge, coffee, towels, soap provided. Location was convenient to visit the European Parliament and city center. Room was very quiet, area was clean and safe.

I didn't mind, but you need to bare in mind that climbing up the stairs to the attic where the room is located is very difficult. I managed to lift up my luggage somehow, but if you are not strong in your arms or feet, it would be a challenge. The room is worth the climb though.

Cozy space on top of a family house. Clean and over all comfortable. I loved the coffee machine.

Communication was a bit difficult. The access to the room was not so easy. The internet connection wasn't great. There is some work on the street, but I guess it's temporary.

Ci sono stati molti problemi. 1. le istruzioni per entrare abbastanza vaghe 2. per salire una scala MOLTO ripida e pericolosa , soprattutto con le valigie 3. finestra difficile da chiudere 4. il box doccia si è letteralmente staccato dalla parete mentre la mia amica si stava facendo la doccia. Oltre ad essere pericolosissimo, ci siamo fatte entrambe male. Io provando a reggerla e lei sbattendo al vetro

L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è stato l'ultimo pezzo di scale per arrivare nella camera posizionata all'attico, perché era molto stretta e ripida e quindi difficoltosa da salire soprattutto con i bagagli

I really enjoyed my stay at Un Sommeil Paisible! I stayed for 3 nights and encountered no issues. The place looked as in the pictures, getting in was easy, the place was really well equipped (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, paper plates, forks, towels, hair dryer). The apartment itself was very tiny, but it did not bother me at all, it felt really cosy :) As others mentioned, the mattresses on the beds are very soft, so if you prefer a firm mattress, just be aware. It was pretty cold outside during my stay, but the heating was working and I was never cold. The apartment is in the attic area of a very narrow building and the halls are very narrow to. I do not have mobility issues and travelled with a backpack only, so it wasn’t a problem for me. I actually found it really charming! But I imagine it would be difficult to access for someone who has mobility issues. The apartment’s location was ideal for me, it was only 20-25 minutes by foot from Bruxelles Midi/Zuid train station and was very close to the sights I wanted to visit. There are many restaurants, shops, pharmacies and bakeries is the area. Some people mentioned the tram being loud/shaking the building - personally I did not notice that or have any issues. Maybe I am just used to noises like this :) Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, I was aware of everything I should be aware of before arriving, so nothing came as a surprise. Oh, and the place was very clean! I really recommend this cosy apartment if you’re in Bruxelles. I will certainly return! ⭐️

- La chambre est très propre. La salle de bain est également très propre. La douche fonctionne très bien, avec de l’eau chaude et une bonne pression. - Les deux petits lits sont propres et confortables. - La chambre est petite, mais il y a tout ce qu’il faut : un micro-ondes, une télévision, de la vaisselle et une machine à café. - Il est facile de récupérer la clé. Avant notre arrivée, nous avons bien reçu les instructions sur l’accès, le code et la façon de récupérer la clé. - Rapport qualité / prix

- Ce n’est pas très pratique pour aller au centre-ville, par exemple à la Grand-Place. Il y a bien un tram juste à côté de l’appartement, mais il faut faire un changement. On peut également prendre le bus, mais là aussi un changement est nécessaire. Pour rejoindre le centre-ville, il faut compter au minimum 40 minutes. - De temps en temps, on entend le bruit du tramway dans la rue.

Lage war sehr gut, kurzer Trip vom Gare Du Midi. Die nächste Straßenbahn ist quasi direkt neben der Location. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war wirklich hervorragend - Handtücher, 2 Betten, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank etc. :) Klimaanlage top.

Straßenbahn schüttelt das ganze Haus. Dachfenster lässt sich nicht abdecken, wer nicht im hellen schlafen kann könnte Probleme bekommen. Wie andere Besucher bereits anmerken ist die Treppe zum Zimmer enorm steil.

Für einen Städtetrip eine super Unterkunft mit einem tollen Preis, da ich sowieso nur zum Schlafen da war. Ausstattung mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Teller, Gläser, Tassen, Besteck, etc. Durch die Klimaanlage war auch die Lage direkt unter dem Dach gut aushaltbar

Der sehr steile letzte Abschnitt der Treppe wurde hier ja schon ausführlich beschrieben. Es wäre schön, wenn der Duschkopf höhenverstellbar wäre, der war leider für mich zu hoch angebracht und nicht verstellbar. Und bei mir gab es keinerlei Verstaumöglichkeiten für Kleidung, da es keinen Schrank gibt und die Kommode voll mit Extra-Bettwäsche war. Vielleicht könnte man hier eine Lösung finden, da ich meine Kleidung im Koffer lassen musste und das sehr chaotisch war. Evtl. unter den Dachschrägen so Einbauschränke?

It was a very nice room equipped with everything you need, top class !!

The steps were quiet tight, leading into the room, so not for someone whose legs would not be stable.

It is actually an attic room. So if you have a lot of lagguage or week knees, you should know this info. I didn't mind, it was kind of cute

The room was really cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was a coffee machine with extra cups, coffee and a water boiler. The bathroom had a lot of space.

The entrance to the room was really tricky, the stairs are really small if you end up staying at the top floor.

The apartment is really comfortable, clean, and not far from Forest National (we came for a concert). The shower is nice and strong. I highly recommend this accommodation for ppl who visit for concerts or shows - it’s nice to be able to get back at late evening!

Great location. Aldi supermarket is in front of the house. The owner was nice and available. The room was clean and well equipped (fridge, hairdryer, kettle, coffee maker). Check-in and check-out were easy.

The stairs to the roof are incredibly steep. Attic room built into the roof. Not a full room. I only recommend it for a short visit and only for 1 person.

The location is very central for the price we are paying. Benjamin was very nice too and accommodating. The room is lovely and have a lot of facilities (fridge, hair dryer, kettle, coffee maker, etc.). The check-in/check-out system is very straightforward as the building is secured with PIN and there is also a lock box for the room key. Got a roof window as well, which is good lighting and circulation.

The only downside is the location of the room, where it's on the very top floor (assumed it's the roof) and the stairs to go to the room is very steep and narrow. Would be difficult if you have to go with an elderly or someone who struggles walking/climbing. Carrying a suitcase would be challenging too if alone.

Lovely place! The room was super cozy, beautifully arranged, very clean, and had all the needed amenities. The location is perfect, close to attractions but quiet enough to relax. The owners are super welcoming and helpful. Definitely a place worth recommending!

The location was great and the room has almost everything. I wish it had just a few knifes and forks and plates. It has a microwave but then you can’t eat what you heat up. The room is very comfortable, I had a good nights sleep.

I requested an invoice several times but never got one. At first there was a response of "of course" after that I was ghosted. The place is also very hard to find -- you need to call once you're at the address.

The room and the bathroom attached to it are in the attic (but probably not ideal for tall people) so you have privacy. It doesn't come with breakfast, I think that's what's written on the listing as well.

The property is right next to the tram line and every time a tram passes, you can feel the vibration from the room. The staircase leading to the room is very hard to climb so you might want to keep this in mind before booking. There's no hot water during my shower when I arrived! I told the host I would arrive late and they could have had the hot water booster on for an hour or two after I arrived. Only after my cold shower, I messaged the host there's no more hot water and they turned the hot water on. I couldn't come out half way through my shower to message them. They can't make the assumption people only shower in the morning or at certain time of the day when they have the hot water on. I only stayed here for one night as I moved to another Airbnb in Brussels for 3 more nights as I got my friend joining me from my day 2. My other place is much better than here, it looks like they have the hot water on demand there; this is how you should run an Airbnb or a hotel room! Not like Un sommeil paisible!

Breakfast was not included which I knew. The location was excellent. The property was exceptionally clean

Problem getting the shower to work but the host eventually got it going. The top flight of stairs was exceptionally steep and difficult to negotiate particularly going down. The lights on the stairs did not always come on quickly enough so you were in the dark.

It looks tight for 2 but there’s plenty of space for luggage if you use the part between bed and roof + had window and air con + had tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave and a fridge + bathroom was well equipped. + others warned about tram noise but was okay for me.

- the other reviews are correct about the room being at the very top of the building. I do see the owner has put a photo of the stairs/ladder going into the room. Wasn’t a problem for me, but at least you can see the photo if you think it’s bad. - I wish I chose a better location, but tram stops are right outside which can take you to the old town (about 10 minutes) and to the midi train station (15 minutes)
