Lovely hosts, fantastic breakfast, and huge rooms. We asked if they could organise a tuk tuk to take us to the ferry port and they took us themselves. Would stay again.

A great stay for the price. This hotel is a really good option if you’re looking for something affordable without sacrificing the essentials. It’s located slightly up in the hills. The owner is super friendly, helpful. For the price you pay, it’s honestly hard to complain about anything. Of course, you shouldn’t expect full comfort, but that’s completely fair given the value.

C'est un petit complexe avec un fort potentiel loin de l'agitation. Fa est venue nous chercher au port et a eu la gentillesse de nous présenter l'île et ses possibilités d'excursions. Chambre spacieuse équipée d'un canapé et d' un frigo.

L' entretien général laisse un peu à désirer...lame de terrasse qui se soulève...la déco de l'accueil et du petit déjeuner pourrait être plus soignée. Conseils : il manque une table de nuit et une lampe pour lire ainsi qu'un étendoir.

First of all… the team is taking great care of their guests and resort. You arrive as guests but leave as friends/family. We stayed in a very cosy, comfortable and big bungalow with views on a well kept garden. It is on the border between village and jungle. Terrific hikes are just some steps away. The only sound is nature. Breakfast is terrific. ‘Mama nurse’ was very empathic and attentive when we suffered from some heath problems. We all miss her, the team and that beautiful place tucked away in the nicest corner of Ko Mook already. We shall meet again…

I highly recommend staying here. The location is very convenient - you can reach the center or the pier in just a 10-15 minute walk. It’s quiet and peaceful at night, and it was especially pleasant to walk back in the evening surrounded by the sounds of nature. The host is very kind and attentive. The breakfasts are excellent and filling - every day we were served fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, yogurt with granola, and a more substantial dish upon request (such as pancakes or eggs). The rooms are very spacious, and well-equipped with everything you might need. There is even a refrigerator - something that had been mentioned as missing in earlier reviews, so it seems the host has taken guests’ feedback. I hope to return here again.

Had a great one-night stay here in February—very peaceful and relaxing environment, and easy to get around the island from here. Would highly recommend

Wir waren super happy in der Unterkunft. Die Gastgeberin ist der nett. Wir haben nach einer Nacht vom Fan room in den AC room gewechselt, weil es doch sehr heiß war. Einen Tag später wurden aber auch in dem Fan Raum ACs installiert so dass das kein Problem mehr sein sollte. Die Anlage ist der schön und sauber. Wir haben einen Roller in der Unterkunft gemietet, da es uns bei der Hitze sonst doch etwas zu anstrengend war, jedes Mal ins Dorf zu laufen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft definitiv weiter!

There was nothing that we disliked, but an observation is that it would be good to have a fridge in the room, and some of the chairs on the balcony could be changed for more comfortable ones

Lovely shady property. Private and away from the hubbub but close enough to walk or scooter into town easily. The owner is extremely hospitable and looked after all of our needs including booking excursions and getting us a scooter.

Large comfortable room. Nice quiet location. My boyfriend was sick and the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful, kind and caring. Breakfast was delicious.

Room was large and aircon struggled to keep room cool throughout day. Fan was provided and worked well. Water was discoloured and a lightly yellow/brown colour.

The guesthouse is situated among the jungle in a quiet and relaxing part of Koh Mook. It's a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the pier, you can walk to the main street in around 20-25 mins. The room is really spacious, with a comfy (hard) bed, sofa, large bathroom and roofed terrace to relax on - it feels homely and high quality. The shower is hot with good pressure. Breakfast is simple (coffee, fruit and eggs) but filling (dinner wasn't available during our stay). The hosts are friendly and always happy to assist with any queries, arrange tours/onward travel, etc. There is a jungle hike starting next to the guesthouse, but beware that sections of it are poorly maintained. No beaches in the immediate vicinity, but the island is small enough that you can easily get to one. Highly recommended, one of the best places we stayed at in Thailand!

Die Hütten schauen sehr neu aus u sind sehr gepflegt und gross. Es gibt ein eigenes separates Bad mit Badewanne - abgetrennt auch WC u Dusche. Klimaanlage u Ventilator - schöne Terasse mit Hängematte - mitten im Garten. Es gibt Wasser zum Nachfüllen u Kaffee u Wasserkocher am Zimmer. Frühstück gibt es Eier nach Wahl mit Toast, Früchten, Joghurt u Müsli, frischen O Saft u Kaffe/Tee. Die Lage am Berg ist abgeschieden-zum nächsten Restaurant Happy - sehr gut gegessen - geht man 5 Min. Zum nächsten Strand auch 5 Min. In den Ort 10 Min. Zum schönen Sivalei Beach ist man schon eine halbe Stunde unterwegs. Wir haben eine Dschungelwanderung zum Lo Dung Beach gemacht ' zuerst am Strand entlang und dann durch den Dschungel zum Beach schnorcheln. Begleitet wurden wir von 5 Hunden - sehr freundlich- beim schnorcheln ist einer immer mit uns geschwommen - als wir das Wasser verlassen haben - waren 4 Hunde sehr aggressiv auf uns- haben uns aggressiv verbellt u geknurrt. War dann nicht mehr lustig. Wir mussten mit Sand um uns werfen - erst dann haben sie von uns abgelassen. Insgesamt ein sehr netter Platz - etwas abseits aber trotzdem alles gut erreichbar. Es gibt überall TukTuk Taxis - 50 Bath p.p

We stayed here for four nights. It is tucked away from the busy streets, so you can enjoy the sounds of the jungle at night. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the center, but you can rent a motorbike like we did. The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. The host is very kind; she arranged everything for us, including a motorbike, a boat trip, and airport transport. There are many local restaurants just a short 5-7 minute walk away. Highly recommended!

Heel mooi verblijf op Koh Mook. Het is misschien ietsje ver van het 'centrum' en ligt op de 'berg', maar als je enigzins fit bent is dit allemaal geen probleem. De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt is erg lekker.

De wifi is wel echt erg slecht (maar valt te verwachten op zo'n klein eiland)

Perfect location if you like hiking to nearby beaches or even into the village. If you prefer, the host will help you rent a bike or offer to take you herself. She can also help with booking day trips to other islands and arranging transfers. The breakfast is really good and huge. She also has a very nice dog. We would stay again without hesitation.

Charmant bungalow climatisé à 15mn à pieds de la jetée et avec navette gratuite à l’aller et au retour pour se rendre à l’hôtel. Nous avons été accueilli avec des bouteilles d’eau et l’hôte a été très sympathique. Le bungalow était propre et spacieux. Il y avait une douche avec eau chaude et une baignoire mais la baignoire n’avait que de l’eau froide. Petit déjeuner très bon (yaourt, fruits secs, tartines, omelette, jus d’orange pressé, café). Possibilité de manger sur place, c’était très bon et pas cher et également de booker une excursion ou le speed boat pour changer d’île.

Tranquil location, up a hill on the edge of town, tasty breakfast of fruits, yogurt and scrambled eggs on toast; and comfortable air conditioned rooms. The jungle trail to sabai beach starts by the accom and the host kindly helped to book a return boat taxi.

Electricity was temporarily down on arrival, however this only lasted minutes and air-con/water was working again quickly.

Great quiet location on the edge of town

A dona do alojamento é muito simpática. Alojamento estava limpo, tinha ar condicionado e ventoinha, o que é uma mais valia! Todos os critérios que pretendíamos corresponderam. A localização é ótima, alugamos uma scooter porque acaba sempre por ser mais cómodo, apesar da ilha não ser muito grande e ser fácil de andar a pé.

The setting next to the jungle is beautiful, and although it’s a bit of a walk to the city center, there are still some shops and restaurants closer by. The staff were incredibly friendly, helped us plan our trips and book transportation, and made us feel truly welcomed. The place was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was simple but enough, and mosquito spray was provided in each room. We could also check in early, and we would happily come back.

My husband and I had an exceptionally pleasant and relaxing stay here. The location is simply wonderful – peaceful, on the edge of the village, about a 15-minute walk from the center. The bungalow is set right in the jungle, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, rubber tree plantations, and the sounds of nature. The atmosphere was calm and rejuvenating – we could hear only the jungle around us. Accommodation The bungalow was very clean, comfortably furnished, and thoughtfully equipped. The air conditioning works great, the bed is comfortable, the shower has warm water, and the bathroom is spacious and nice. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace surrounded by greenery. Despite being in the middle of the jungle, there were no insects inside, which was a big plus. Host The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. She helped us with recommendations for massages, restaurants, and beaches, and also arranged a taxi for us when needed. We truly felt taken care of and warmly welcomed. Breakfast Breakfast was very good and deliciously prepared – a perfect start to the day. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature, and comfort. We were very happy with our stay. 🌿💚

The house was nice, comfortable and clean with all amenities. The location is not ideal - about 15 min walking from the pier and 20-25 to the beach, which is not a problem normally, but it’s uphill and really hot. No air conditioning, but modern strong fan. We booked a snorkelling trip and a visit to the Emerald cave from the host, but this was a disappointment as we afterwards found a better price in town plus they took us to the cave during high tide and we were unable to enter. We did not feel very safe either, so I would recommend trying a tour if you want to visit the cave. The snorkelling was mediocre with not much to see (we went to Koh Kradan), but on the way back to Koh Muk we had one more stop where we got to see a lot of the red spiky starfish, which was nice.

The room was beautiful, spacious, and quiet in a peaceful location. The view of the garden from the room was wonderful! The bathroom was great with hot water. The staff were super helpful with answering any questions we had, providing us with a map of local sights and helping us with issues with the motorbike we rented from them. The location was especially perfect for a trek to Sabai beach as the hotel is situated on the path. We were the first people at the beach because of this! Must do if you're staying on the island. They provided us with a simple breakfast every morning with fresh fruit which was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was AC and a manual fan available so it was easy to adjust the room temperature. We slept so well every night! Overall, the gorgeous surroundings and super comfortable room are great value!

The accomodation is very comfortable, especially the terrace with 2 chairs and a hammock to chill and read in. Everything is clean and neat, the family is super kind. The location is about a 15-20 min. walk from the pier in the direction of the viewpoint, so it is a super calm and quiet area which we loved. All in all we had a great stay.

This was a great stay immersed in the island jungle! The cabins were outfitted with good bathrooms and great bug nets. The host is amazing and she has delicious breakfast including yogurt bowls with fruit in the mornings! She made this stay so lovely. It’s a 10 minute walk to town and not too much farther to the beach!

The cabins were not sealed and we were frequently visited by ants and various other insects during our stay that came up from the floorboards. The cabins are advertised as no AC, but did have large fans which we used at every available moment. It was quite hot and there wasn’t much escape from the humidity, but you get what you pay for and it was completely to true to how it is advertised!

Excellent friendly staff and very good location Also what stand out was the advices regarding cost effective transfer. Getting to Koh Mook can be challenging. Staff advised on options (taxs or mini bus and ferry/ long tail Boot). We boked a long tail Boot & mini bus from Koh Mook to Trang (central transportation hub either Airport or railway station) to £20 for two people

We DIDNOT read the fine print and the room did not have AC. This was completely out fault. However it was disappointing, The fan was adequate in keeping the room cool but was not AC Note the lack of AC is for ONLY two rooms Nurse House have made reassurances that next year the room shall have AC. This was completely our fault but suggest when booking a room and you want AC. double check you have selected the correct room

My second stay there, so it really was like coming home! The bungalows are very sweet - spacious, with a huge bed, a lot of storage space, big bathroom, efficient air conditioning, and a nice porch with armchairs and a hammock. The breakfasts are great and you are offered a very decent choice. The dining space is conducive to meeting other travellers, too. I enjoy the location a lot - a bit jungle-y and wild, but even though a little away from the centre, it is still a nice walk downhill to the beaches and/ or restaurants, and you can always opt for a tuk-tuk (fixed price, 50 baht per person anywhere on the island). The greatest joy are the interactions with the family running the place - most of the time it's Faa who resides there, her sister Hongjo and, less frequently, Bell, the brother (the spelling of the names, in all likelihood, is wrong). They are all kind, helpful and fun to be around. One thing that could be better is the internet, rather unreliabale. And, with the place growing (two new bungalows) the concrete paths leading to the accommodation should be repaired... All in all, one of my most favourite places to stay in Thailand, both Nurse House and the island of Koh Mook 💙

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast, especially the Thai one, was amazing! Accommodation very clean with everything you needed, lots of birds around to listen to in the morning. Since it is a little away from town, it is very quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is situated in the beautiful jungle, the room is lovely we had a fan and it was surprisingly nice and cool; and the bed is so comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, with fresh fruit, yogurt and choice of eggs and toast, coffee, tea etc. The ladies that run this place are very helpful and accommodating:) you can rent moped directly from hotel to get around, or taxi. By foot it would take around 30 mins to walk into town.

This property is excellent. It’s situated in the jungle but only a short walk from the main strip. It is so relaxing and the staff will go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. Unfortunately Ill health meant we had to cut out stay short. The owners arranged our transport to the mainland and woke super-early to cook us a breakfast and ensure we made our transfer safely. We will definitely be staying again

The hospitality at this house was phenomenal. We couldn’t have asked for a cozier home. The room offered everything we needed to be comfortable. Bill and Pha took care of us, gave us recommendations, provided DELICIOUS breakfast, and opened us with warm and open arms. As our trip continued in Thailand, we often reminisced about how much we missed staying at the Nurse house. Thank you for everything

The bungalow is looking very nice aesthetically and is well decorated. Also the surroundings of the property. Fha and the family are very nice and prepared breakfast for us and brought us back and forth to the pier and they helped us to book the transfer to and from Trang Airport. They were very kind and attentive. They also rented for us 2 bicycles.

We are sorry to say but after spending 4 nights on another part of the island, this place felt more remote and harder to reach, although we were using bicycles. Not even for the distance but because the last part of the road when it’s night, it is completely in the dark and we were scared to cross with our bikes and got barked at by dogs. So the other nights we took a tuk tuk to get back home. With the tuk tuk we were fine so if you don’t plan to walk or cycle it’s ok. The other dislike was the strong smell in the room. At first we thought it was wood (as the bungalow is made out of wood), but we think it was a paint smell that is used to cover the wood as it was too strong and even after leaving some days our clothes still smelled to it.

I felt like home. The bungalows are tucked away in the nature of the island. Yet easily accessible with motorbike, which we rented at the property for 250b a day. It was about 2-3min to the city center and about 6 to Charly Beach. The room was spacious and we loved waking up to the great view. We were lucky that they recently installed a heater for the water of the shower. For us the highlight was Fha and Bell, both bothers were really welcoming and lovely, helping us with all bookings and transportation and everything else we needed. Also breakfast was amazing you could choose thai or for american breakfast in the morning. Which always came with fresh fruits and juice.

We loved everything, if there was anything it that it didn’t have a refrigerator or hairdryer.

We felt very comfortable at Faa's place. She organized trips and transfers for us and was a very friendly and helpful hostess. Very good breakfast! Once she also made us an excellent fish dinner. It really pays off asking her to cook for you at least once after a long trip snorkeling or the like... The whole family was very welcoming. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, jungle and latex trees, lots of birdnoises, lizards and a canopy of leaves. Paradisical.

The place is a liitle out of the way. It's no problem to get a tuctuc on the way up since the place is wellknown.. A motorbike is also an option. They are building two additional small cottages and we unfortunately had an afternoon of hammering noises etc. But they should be done at the start of 2025. They are also planning to put a pool in and potentially another two cottages and we are not quite sure how this will all affect the peacefulness and jungle-like garden surroundings of the place. It might eventually get too crowded on the plot. The wifi is a little patchy and a fridge in the room would have been nice.

Fah is an AMAZING host, she took very hood care of us, and our toddler boy loved her too! The room is very clean, cozy and spacious, the atmosphere is really peaceful and quiet, perfect to relax and chill. The breakfast is delicious, different fresh fruits every day! We had dinner one night there too and it was a highlight. Also, the latest update is that THERE IS WARM WATER! We would definitely stay here again, it was fantastic.

Wow! Brand new: they have now hot water! We stayed here 4 nights and it was totally great. Very big good new equipped rooms in a nice dschungel surrounding. Pha and Bell are very lovely helpful hosts, they arranged everything we want. Breakfast is good, especially the Thai variations and Youghurt with fruits. Good Luck Restaurant is a very good choice for food and not far away. We absolutely recommend it to stay here 😊

Very beautiful bungalows amidst the tropical greenery. Fa was incredibly kind and helpful with everything we could have asked for, even picked us up and dropped us off. Convenient water refill and daily cleaning. Delicious breakfast with generous serving size.

- Fa is an amazing host - Clean - big room - There is a beautiful dog named Cha-thai.If you want to walk to the viewpoint you can take him as your tourguide. - excellent price quallity

It was really amazing! Houses are very beautiful, they are located 10 min from the pier what is very nice I think because it is very quiet there. Everyone working there are super friendly and the breakfast is amazing! Highly recommended!

Transfer from Trang airport to the island easily arranged and very cheap. Boat trips and island recommendations given plus scooter hire easily arranged at check in. The cutest and friendliest dog on site called Chaa-Yen ♥️ Quiet and peaceful location. Simple but delicious breakfast each morning - best mango I’ve had in a long time!
