I was made to feel very welcome from the start! A lovely family run stay with comfortable rooms, clean facilities and THE BEST food. Wow! Dinner and breakfast were amazing :)

Les hôtes sont d une gentillesse énorme, toujours là pour nous aider ...on a passer un super séjour ., la chambre est correct ..On est au calme ..Les repas sont copieux et très très bon !! Un endroit que je recommande..

We had to shorten our stay because of some tuktuk issues, and they were so sad to see us go even though we paid for both nights. Very kind hosts and the room is great value for money. They were also keen on telling us what to do in the area and what order would be best.

We had a one night stay during our trip from nilavelli to ella, it was the perfect stop, we visited the temple and got to taste a home made meal during dinner, and and amazing sri lankan breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stay.

We stayed here for one night as a layover from our Tuk-Tuk journey from Sigiriya to Ella. The hosts were absolutely fantastic with their hospitality and can’t do enough for their guests. We were able to park our Tuk-Tuk undercover. We ate the lady’s homemade food and it was absolutely amazing, she also gave us extras. The room was great value, comfortable and had good WiFi and air conditioning. They have lovely pets as well which are very vocal and cute.

Nothing to do with the property, but there is not a lot about in terms of shops and restaurants, just so people are aware it’s tucked away in a quiet yet peaceful area.

Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja saapuessamme meidät otettiin ystävällisesti vastaan. Aamiainen oli ihan perus paikallinen aamiainen, jota on tämän tason majoituspaikoissa usein. Huone oli siistissä kunnossa ja suihkusta sai myös lämmintä vettä. Tuuletin ja ilmastointi toimivat hyvin. Autolle oli pysäköinti paikka, joka oli ilmeinen.

Varauksen yhteydessä saatu osoite ei pitänyt paikkaansa. Osoite oli noin kilometrin verran väärässä paikassa. Tämä on ehkä enemmänkin Google Maps ongelma.

Super clean. Big Room. Cute Garden. Delicious breakfast. Good price. Nice hosts :)

No hot water for the shower.

Die Gastfamilie ist super nett und gibt sich unglaublich viel Mühe! Der Sohn hat uns abends zur neuen Riesen-Buddha-Statur gebracht und mit dem Gastvater haben wir abends gespielt. Die Mutter kocht ausgezeichnet und die Tochter hat uns viel über Land und Leute erzählt.

Die Matratzen könnten etwas dicker sein.

Très propre. Chambre récente Cuisine copieuse à un prix abordable. Propriétaires sympathiques et attentionnés Très au calme. Le premier matin, sans réveil, je me suis réveillé à 10h

Ce n'est pas un défaut, car c'est dit dans la description. Il n'y a pas de WiFi et la 4G est juste. J'ai une puce 5G locale sur mon 2e téléphone, ça passait.

Super vriendelijke mensen die je hartelijk ontvangen en overal mee willen helpen. De locatie is erg rustig en toch dichtbij verschillende mooie attracties in de omgeving.

Houd er rekening mee dat er geen warm water is en dat niet alle bedden een klamboe hebben (er zitten wel muggen op de kamer). Maar qua prijs kwaliteitsverhouding is het echt helemaal prima.

Very good value A large clean room Quiet location

Although the room was very clean there was a strong chemical smell on the bedding -however we managed this by covering the pillows with our cloths to help us sleep The shower was cold water only - I would have preferred to pay a bit more to stay if there was hot water particularly for morning showers The breakfast although large wasn’t that great- we ordered Sri Lankan pancakes which I have had many many times- these ones hardly had any filling and were much too thick

Value for money, in fact it was dead cheap. It was actually a homestay. The family lives there with 2 lovely dogs and cats. They are adorable. Good size rooms, good sized vomfy beds. The owners (husband and wife) were friendly, helpful and polite. They went out and bought playing cards and also ice cubes. We spent the late evening / night in the cabana playing cards. They cooked delicious hoppers for breakfast ( plain, milk and egg hoppers) They made a lovely dinner as well. Ample parking.

We verbleven in The Heaven Sorabora als tussenstop tussen Nuwara Eliya en Dambulla, en we zijn ontzettend blij dat we hiervoor gekozen hebben. Het gezin dat het verblijf uitbaat is supervriendelijk en helpt je met alles wat je nodig hebt. Vooral de vrouw springt eruit: ze doet alles met veel enthousiasme, een warme glimlach en veel expressie. Ze kan geweldig koken, dus eet zeker ter plaatse! Ze gaf ons ook het advies om ’s avonds naar de tempel te gaan en gaf ons de benodigde wierook en bloemen mee om te offeren. Echt een bijzondere en persoonlijke ervaring!

Pasamos una noche para hacer una salida en barco por el lago, y la habitación estaba muy limpia y era muy confortable. La cena fue también muy buena, y el personal super amable. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Les repas sont très très bons et les moins chers de tout notre séjour. Merci de nous avoir conseillé d'aller voir Rathna Falls, superbe cascade où se baigner et peu fréquentée. C'était agréable également d'aller se baigner avec les locaux dans le canal relié au lac pas loin.

The best host in Sri Lanka! We felt as at home!! Food was delicious and huge portions! Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We planned to stay only one night and finally we stay an extra night. We highly recomended this place!

Nothing, everything perfect

The place looks exactly like the photos; it was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and nice and had made us an incredible dinner and breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place.

It is a bit far from the centre of the city.

Plenty of space. Calm and clean. Lovely people providing warm hospitality making sure you have everyting needed. Food options match all your requirement, and this is home food cooked by beautiful soul. There is a feeling that you live with the family as they are here during the day time.

Juste incroyable!! L’accueil, les plats, l’emplacement, les conseils de nos hôtes, les moments de partage avec eux, tout était absolument extraordinaire (et oui nous avons lâché une larme en partant 😂). C’est désormais notre nouvelle famille du Sri Lanka (on a un peu hésité à mettre un commentaire négatif au début pour pas que vous nous les piquiez haha!) en tout cas profitez bien d’eux ☀️

Petit conseil touristique: n’allez pas au village « autochtones » c’est très superficiel et malaisant. En revanche la cascade est absolument extraordinaire !

Los dueños muy majos, la señora cocina espectacular y mucha cantidad. Muy atentos. El último día teníamos un viaje de 5 h de autobús y nos prepararon un pequeño lunch para llevar ( bananas y rotti) La habitación muy limpia

Al ser nuevo, algunos tuk tuk no sabían bien la ubicación No se puede pagar con tarjeta, no teníamos dinero y nos dieron facilidades, al final lo hicimos por transferencia

Good value for money accommodation, breakfast is not included but it is worth it because it is varied and abundant and the family that runs it is very willing to help

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et l’accueil des hôtes a été très chaleureux, ils nous ont aidé dans tous nos déplacements et les dîners étaient très bons !

Coup de cœur pour cette famille sri lankaise. Nous avons vraiment super bien mangé. La chambre était très propre. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Je vous recommande à 100% de séjourner au Thé heaven sorabora, une des meilleures expériences au Sri Lanka

El lugar es muy tranquilo y los propietarios son muy atentos, agradables y buena gente. Está situado cerca del pueblo y un lago maravilloso. El desayuno muy completo y rico.

Anfänglich wollten wir hier in diesem Hostel nur 2 Nächte bleiben, nachdem wir aber überaus freundlich, offen und mit einem ausgesprochen guten Service empfangen wurden, entschieden wir uns spontan unseren Aufenthalt um mehrere Nächte zu verlängern. Im Großem und Ganzem können wir somit sagen, dass die Unterkunft und ihre ausgezeichnete Essensversorgung perfekt sind, sehr preiswert und wir das Hostel jeden Reisenden auf Sri Lanka weiterempfehlen können.

Отличное расположение. Чисто, комфортно, горячая вода, кондиционер, телевизор. Просторный номер, удобные кровати. Нам понравилась территория, сад. Остановились бы еще.

Не берите завтраки. Они считают кофе и напитки за каждую кружку и это не включено в цену завтрака. Сам завтрак нормальный. Утром все любят подметать листья пока гости спят, это шумно и слышно. Подметайте вечером, днем.

Amazing guest house. Very kind and caring family running it. Has a lovely family atmosphere. I fell sick during my stay, getting admitted to hospital for 2 nights. They took care of me the whole time, bringing me 3 meals a day, everything else that I needed out of their own kindness. Cannot thank them enough. Food is amazing, tasty and huge portion sizes, you will never go hungry! Thankyou so much!

Rien c'était parfait !

Super lieve familie die het je helemaal naar de zin willen maken. De ‘mama’ kookt heerlijk voor een klein prijsje extra. We zijn hier maar liefst 3 nachten gebleven terwijl we van plan waren om 1 nacht te komen.

Solide, gute Unterkunft! Sehr freundliches Personal, Tee, Wasser gab es kostenlos, sehr zuvorkommend, was aber auch etwas aufdringlich wurde... mit Familienanschluss! Sehr leckeres und sehr günstiges Essen, auf Wunsch auch nicht scharf zu haben! Wasserfall und See waren bequem zu erreichen, man gab uns die nötigen Tourinfos und ein Fahrrad zum Ausleihen, toller Service.

Wenig Terasse, Stühle unter einem seperaten dach, etwas dunkel und dort...

The shower is pretty cold so beware of that. In the night some guys started a little party on the property which was quite annoying since it was 1:30 am and their music was very loud.

Absolutely fantastic a friendly staff, the best meal in all our Sri Lankas accommodation ever!

Owners were really friendly and always in good mood. They organised visit to Veda village and cooked very delicious food for us all the time.

Best stay ever. We felt at home, in family. An incredible welcome and the whole stay was exceptional, with the best food in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend it, everything is 10 stars. We just didn't like one thing, having to leave 🥹 We spent two nights and we recommend at least 1 week. We will certainly come back ❤️

Absolutely nothing

Very friendly and helpful hosts, kudos to everyone. My room was big, quiet and comfortable. There was no mosquito net but A/C worked perfectly. Sri Lankan breakfast is not included in the rate but is served for a small additional fee. It is highly recommended. Dinners can also be arranged, are reasonably-priced, and, in my humble opinion, not to be missed.

I personally liked the location, rural and quiet. However, it's a 20-minute walk to town. People with mobility issues must take this into consideration. There was no hot water but, at least with the present weather in Sri Lanka, I did not feel the need for it. Cash only.

Perhemajoitus, omistajat erittäin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita. Ruoka parhainta mitä olemme Sri lankassa saaneet. Parasta käsin puristettua mehua. Omistajan tytär vei meidät tutustumaan läheiseen Buddha-temppeliin ja opetti meille oikeat tavat. Hinta liiankin alhainen palveluiden, huoneen ja ruuan suhteen!

We loved the warm welcome of the hosting family. Surrounding is quiet and calm. Close to all the attractions in Mahiyanganaya.

Вдалеке от шумных трасс и вечеринок: очень спокойное, тихое место среди благоухающей зелёной природы. Атмосфера, будто находишься в своей семье: окружили заботой и вкусно накормили. Рекомендую. Спасибо!
