Reviewed Sep 17, 2026This is a lovely place to stay in the historic area of Porto near the river. The owners are so welcoming. The breakfasts vary a little each day but included fresh local fruit, meat, cheese, bread, beverages, and yogurt. It was all delicious. Thank you Fernando and Olga!

Sin embaraago me sorprendio mucho el desayuno al ser cada día algo diferente y de calidad, explicandote los dueños con mucho cuidado todo lo que te ponian de desayunar. Y la limpieza extraordinaria!!!.

Sí acaso, el acceso al hotel si vas coche es complicado para dejar el equipaje. Debes usar un parking cercano y luego te recomiendan algunos parking convenientes para dejarlo varios días. Es lo más incómodo

O unico ponto negativo é para quem chega de carro, o estacionamento mais proximo e com preço mais atrativo fica em Gaia, do outro lado da ponte.

You feel most welcome and made to feel at home by the hosts - be it from the excellent communication pre-arrival, from offering to take your luggage up or down to/from the room with the special luggage lift, from preparing and explaining the daily breakfast provided (which included different tastes and produce from Portugal), to also allowing you to make use of the lounge/dining area throughout the day. Location is equally superb, less than 5 minutes walk away form the beautiful port area with many bars and restaurants.

Sogar zeitlich auf besondere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Als Überraschung abends Portwein auf dem Zimmer gefunden. Mega toller Aufenthalt. Danke!!

The only thing I would improve is the bathroom because it didn’t have ventilation. The tv is really high up in the wall so its difficult to see.

The room was really lovely as well as being in a great location. Easy access to the property via metro was cheap and very straightforward. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The location is superb, the owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The breakfasts are prepared with care and are very, very tasty. It was lovely to have Portugese meats and cheeses, and the fresh bread and fruit were perfect to start the day. I would definitely come back and stay here

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025Absolut tolle Lage mitten in der Altstadt, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Fluß Douro und der Ponte Luiz entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Sehr saubere, schön renovierte Zimmer, in denen alte Elemente mit modernen ergänzt wurden. Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist ein absoluter Traum und nicht zu übertreffen. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen persönlich von den unglaublich netten und aufmerksamen Besitzern in einem kleinen und gemütlichen Raum serviert. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag anders. Es wird nicht nur besonderer Wert auf Regionalität und Frische gelegt. Es wird auch genau erklärt, woher die Wurst oder der Käse stammen. Dazu gibt es täglich wechselndes frisches Obst und Gebäck. Man wird in Porto nicht leicht etwas besseres finden. Vielen Dank an die Besitzer, Schön, daß es so etwas gibt.

The property was a little hard to find and parking was not close by. We couldn’t even unload our bags and then go park as there was no chance to stop on the street. If you stay on he upper floors, there is no elevator

De como chegar ao local. O endereço é confuso, fica em uma viela na travessa de uma das principais avenidas do Porto. Demoramos uns 20 minutos para achar.

Er werd naast het pand een nieuw appartementen complex gerealiseerd maar gekukkig pas vanaf een uur of 8 wat constructie geluiden.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2025Klein charmant hotel in een prachtig stukje van Porto, ideale ligging in een rustig verscholen hoekje. Prachtige superieur kamer met een fantastische badkamer. De vriendelijke eigenaren verzorgen elke ochtend een met zorg bereid ontbijt met locale producten waar ze trots op zijn, bovendien erg smakelijk en vers. Op het patio pleintje bij het hotel is een restaurant die tevens enorm voortreffelijk soul-food presenteert in een rustige pittoreske setting, een absolute aanrader! De eigenaar biedt een mogelijkheid aan om transfer te regelen van en naar airport tegen een schappelijke prijs , wat zeer zeker ook een aanrader is om gebruik van te maken.

We accidentally only booked one night instead of two and despite them being booked up the second night, they were so helpful and offered to help us find somewhere else. Luckily managed to find a hotel ourselves nearby but we were gutted to leave. Such a treasure find.

Average breakfast, broken aircon (cooler outside than inside the room), pancake pillows and right next to a construction site. It literally feels like they are drilling into your room from 8am until 6.30pm.
