El Boussouni Hostel

Bardzo udany pobyt! Pokoje były czyste, zadbane i komfortowe. Śniadania były bardzo smaczne. Dużym atutem jest również świetna lokalizacja – hostel znajduje się w dogodnym miejscu. Personel był miły i pomocny. Z przyjemnością zatrzymam się tutaj ponownie. Polecam :)

Bardzo przyjemny pobyt! Hostel był czysty i zadbany, a atmosfera naprawdę miła. Właściciel był bardzo pomocny i życzliwy, zawsze chętnie służył radą. Śniadania były pyszne. Duży plus za elastyczność obsługi – kiedy musieliśmy wyjść przed standardową godziną śniadania, przygotowano dla nas jedzenie na wynos. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce!

The rooms were air conditioned, a.must ,as outside temperatures were 43° on some of the days I was there! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was spotless! They also had very big ,lockable boxes that fit your luggage ( you need to have a good lock) that you could store your luggage securely. A really good hostel, highly recommended!!!

I had a negative experience with the laundry service. Nothing major, just that if you have clothes that need special attention/ delicate/ made from virgin linen , it is better to wash them yourself.. I thought the laundry woman would be aware of this bit it was not the case. So I had to do this each day in the shower as they did not have a bucket or bowl I could use for the task. However, I didn't have to pay for the 'laundry' service, but I did have to wash clothes by hand, each day!

Clean and comfortable beds. Very good service and Youssef was amazing. Definitely will book again.

this hostel was quiet and the hosts were very kind to me. slightly outside of the hectic medina was a good location for arriving and leaving marrakesh. a straightforward walk to the bus station. there's ac in the dorm! breakfast simple and sufficient.

all was good! it annoys me to pay to rent towels and no soap in the shower but that's a me thing

旧市街に入って少し歩いたところにあります。 旧市街の観光には良い場所ですし、モロッコ内を走っている主要バス会社３社のうち１つのバスターミナルが近くにあるので、そちらを使用するにはとても便利だと思います。 自転車を宿内に置かせてくれました。

トイレ＆シャワールームの数が少ないので、他のお客さんたちと被ると待つことになります。 モロッコの安宿でbooking.com経由で予約をすると税金を宿で取られることがある。 予約時に税が含まれていると表示されたり、現地で直接支払うように表示されるケースがあったがともに請求された（後者は支払うのは当然ですが）

The best hostel in Marrakesh with the best staff. The hostel is very clean, and the staff are such lovely people. I truly enjoyed my time there and will definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly. The location is great. Everything is basic but the bed was comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean.

The hosts here are the most genuine Moroccans you will encounter. Friendly throughout my engagements. Nothing too much for them. They have great knowledge of their Country and are happy to share. They know the best places to eat, the best excursions , taxi service, airport shuttles - they can take care of it all. The breakfast was a fantastic addition too. The toilets and showering facilities, though shared, are of a European standard and the areas clean and hygienic. The icing on the cake - LOCATION. You can get Line19 Alsa bus from Marrakesh airport to Bab Doukkala. Walk through the arch into the Medina, turn left and follow the wall up about 500m, then turn right. Follow your nose and it brings you right to the hostel. (Google maps works too👍)

Some travellers need to remember that some of us don't want to hear them on their phones gone 1am. The notification sounds from their WhatsApp was sounding throughout the night (put them on silent!) On my last night, fellow traveller on the upper bunk was being disrespectful in that he felt he needed to enjoy his own company wall watching him phone - I won't say anymore! Thank you to another traveller whom told him "Hey Mann! Hör auf damit!!! Clearly these comments should not take away any of the positives. It is likened to Russian Roulette staying at hostels, as you never know whether or not you will get dudes like above - though in my experience they are the minority.

Really great location. Extremely friendly staff, helped us even before we arrived with logistics over whatsapp. Even made us breakfast to take away because we had to leave before breakfast opened. Facilities are clean and what you expect for a hostel. Just pack earplugs because you can hear everything happening outside your room. The airport shuttle is a bit expensive, but easily organized and therefore we were ready to pay that. 15€ for a person during the day, 20 during night time and 20 if it's multiple people. We always felt very safe as girls staying here.

Amazing breakfasts, simple, yet well-equipped room, nice spaces for hanging out with others, quiet (especially at night = good sleep), comfortable bed, place to store my luggage with a lock (i had my own, but it might be possible to rent, but i am not sure), easy communication in English or French, i felt safe there. I appreciate good description how to find it send me via message. The access to roof is a fantastic bonus.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Pleasant seating areas, inside and outside. Rooftop terrace. Very reasonable breakfast. Well situated for the bus station and the bus 19 drop-off and pick-up point. Terrific value for the price I paid, which was probably done as a last-minute offer.

The location was slightly tricky find, as is almost invariably the case. A little bit removed from the central action, but not catastrophically so.

Youssef ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, hat uns Tipps gegeben und auch eine Anreise mitten in der Nacht war kein Problem. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und die Lage ist sehr zentral. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The room was comfortable, (no sheets provided). The breakfast was served in the terrace, that was very nice. The toilets were clean and the receptionist was very friendly.

Nice location, near the entrance (or exit) of the old medina and marrakech souks. Good breakfast served in the morning, with good quality products, and the bed set is very comfy (especially the blanket, so fluffy for cold days). Something I liked was the space of the bedrooms, which were quite big and the storage as well. The transfer from the airport to the Riad is helpful and highly recommended if you are travelling alone, because the city can be tricky when you get there - the amount is payable.

The shower somehow needs fixing. Sometimes, low water flows, and they get cold instantly, and sometimes I do not see much cleaning in the upper communal areas and the bathroom. I would suggest installing the in the ceiling of the bathrooms rather than having a hole in the wall, which essentially blows smoke from outside. To finish, a curtain in the bedrooms and a little shelf is recommended to put alongside the plugs in the bedwalls in the room: would be both convenient to put chargers, phones and etc and a curtain provided the upper bunk beds does not have curtains and the clarity of the bedroom can disturb your sleeping.

Third time I’ve stayed at El Boussouni when visiting Marrakech. Youssef and the staff are great and the location is convenient for both the Medina and bus routes outside the Medina.

The location is good, down a reasonably Main Street near the gare routiere. I found it fairly easily. I put up pics of the small street it’s on and the fancy place across the street I used as a visual.

It was honestly one of the best hostels I stayed at in my life. Especially I liked the facilities, breakfast and want to say big thank you to all people who work there. Definitely will stay there again

Very Friendly Staff, good Location and Great Rooftop

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a good talk time to time, I learn a lot about how the Moroccan people live and think. For me it was at the perfect location: not too far from the busy souks and not that near to feel overwhelmed by the constant crowd. Thank you for the great experience!

A estrutura era muito boa. Haviam quartos separados para mulheres, camas confortaveis e quentes e armários bem espaçosos. Ademais, os banheiros eram bons, com agua quente e limpos, e o hotel conta tambem com um terraço confortável. O café da manhã era completo e muito bom, e o staff foi todo muito atencioso e prestativo. Experiência excelente.

All in all I would say it was my favourite hostel stay in Morocco! Very kjnd and helpful owner! Comfortable, easy going and social hostle! Thank you!

It would be nice if there was some kind of heating in the room, because in the winter time it was very warm. The upper beds would need something to put your personal items such as your phone, glasses etc. Some more hangers inside the bathroom!

Das Personal war sehr stets freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit, was z.B. Tipps für die Umgebung etc. anging. Die Zimmer waren sauber, und die Anlage wurde regelmäßig geputzt. Im Zimmer selbst gab es viel Platz und ebenfalls abschließbare, große Fächer, wo mein Wanderrucksack locker reinpasste. Heiß duschen ging hier ebenfalls super. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse war einfach und lecker. Die Lage empfand ich als sehr gut. Relativ am Rand der Medina in der Nähe einer größeren Straße und deswegen gut zu erreichen und wenig Gefahr sich zu verlaufen. Insgesamt habe ich mich hier als alleinreisende Frau gut aufgehoben und sicher gefühlt.

Ein kleines Regal oder ähnliches für die oberen Stockbetten wären praktisch, um dort in der Nacht Handy, Brille und ähnliches zu deponieren.

Youssef is goede zorgzame gastheer. Douches en wc s worden goed bijgehouden en zijn schoon. Ontbijt is heerlijk op het dakterras. Ligging is goed. Bedden zijn lekker. Veel ruimte in de Riad.

Het is een hostel. Dat betekent iets meer geluid. Daar heb je wel of geen last van. Om 11 uur moet het stil zijn en daar wordt wel op gelet

De eigenaars waren buitengewoon vriendelijk! Ze hielpen je overal mee en stonden altijd paraat! Het ontbijt was bovendien ook heel lekker en het terras zorgde ervoor dat je andere leerde kennen en zo een gezellige ochtend had. De prijs-kwaliteit was dus zeker in orde.

Het was uiteraard geen luxe verblijf maar gelet op de prijs is dat niet meer dan normaal. Alle basisvoorzieningen waren zeker aanwezig! De hygiëne was ook niet 100%, maar in een hostel is dat ook zeer moeilijk want de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes (badkamer, ...) werden wel frequent schoon gemaakt dus die waren zéker in orde!

Location was brilliant, close to everything and staff were super friendly.

The room has glass windows, so lets the light in from the courtyard, so you definitely need an eye mask if you have difficulty sleeping with lights.

El alojamiento queda cercano a puntos de interés, es pequeño, cómodo, bastante silencioso por las noches y con personal atento u agradable. El desayuno a su vez es muy completo y delicioso.

Fantastic hostel in a great location. Staff were friendly. Room was comfortable with lots of space. Bathrooms were clean.

The soap in the bathrooms was never refilled. There was no obvious signage outside and I got a little lost trying to find the place. Some loser outside tried to take advantage of my looking lost but thankfully the hostel manager must have overheard and came out the door to retrieve me.

J'aime Youssef. L'hôte de l'auberge. Un homme qui m'a accueillit à bras ouverts et qui fut d'un grand support lors de mon rétablissement. Dès mon arrivée il m'a aidé à planifier mon voyage au Maroc et pour la semaine qui suivit, devînt un ami. L'auberge est géniale aussi!
