Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Cabins are rustic, spacious and very lovely. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food was very good, especially the chicken springrolls. I didn’t use the pool but people I was with did and they loved it. It’s a great place to get away from it all. Bring a book or two! The last few km of road to get there is terrible so plan on one trip in and one trip out when you leave.

The drive in from the main road was very tricky in a low profile car. The pictures did not depict how isolated the property was.

Reviewed Sep 22, 2024Location was spectacular and had the chance of Kayaking in the Bolgoda lake which was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our requirement. Food was delicious and their flexibility on preparing and delivering food on time as per our preference is also appreciative. Room was very spacious with all necessary furnitures and bathroom facilities. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for relaxing getaway and hope to go there again in the future as well.

They do not sale alcools, for now anyway. They are waiting for the license...

Reviewed Jun 29, 2024The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The food was really good and had value for money. The staff was very attentive, especially Mr. Seelan, he went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable.
The road leading to the property is not great. The hotel should keep mosquito repellant in the rooms. We we charged an additional 10% service charge at the time of check-out, even though our total cost on booking.com included all taxes. Update 20th June 2024 - I have received the refund for the additional service charge that was charged, thank you Lake Bolgoda Team.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2024The resort was in a beautiful setting with lovely scenery and gardens and pool The beds were comfy with air con it was a very appealing place to stayI don't think I got my genius discount deal .the meals were excellent staff excellent
The shower taps did not work at all hard to wash The bathroom smelled musty due to mould in the timber walls mentioned remedy to management.persisted and stayed on the night. I should have got discounted rate because of the above issues.cockroaches in shower area

Reviewed Jan 22, 2024The Location was Unique, Very Quiet. The Early Morning tranquility with Birds Chirping, and flying over the Lake. The Sunset over the Lake is a Sight to Behold🥰 The Staff were Very Friendly and Eager to Assist to make the Stay Enjoyable.
There are some aspects which require attention, which the management assured, will be attended asap.

Reviewed Jul 28, 2023Lovely secluded villa style hotel right on the lake we stayed to visit the new pearl bay water park near by so that kept us busy. Has a boat ride on bolgoda and used their swimming pool but a bit off the beaten track for things to do but if you want rest and relaxation it’s a lovely serene place. The staff very attentive and food was good
