Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Das Haus mit der Unterkunft liegt im zentralen Bereich der Stadt. Wir konnten die Sehenswürdigkeiten (vor allem die vielen schönen Tempel) fußläufig erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem schmalen Gassengewirr ohne Autoverkehr. Mit Google Map fanden wir leicht zur Unterkunft. Autofahrer müssen sich eine Garage in der Nähe suchen. Wir benützten die Tiefgarage im neuen Kunstmuseum, die aber immerhin so etwa 25 Euro pro Tag kostete. Das Apartment im 2. Stock ist sehr geräumig, sehr gemütlich und ästhetisch schön gestaltet, mit vielen Holzverkleidungen. Bad und Bett empfanden wir ebenfalls als sehr angenehm. Die Klimaanlage und WiFi funktionieren ebenfalls sehr gut. Frühstücks gibt's nicht im Haus, aber in der Gegend gibt's viele Essensangebote unterschiedlicher Art.
Die Vermieterin warnt schon im Vorfeld, dass die Treppen zu den beiden Apartments steil und eng sind. Menschen, die beim Gehen eingeschränkt sind, hätten hier Probleme. Für uns war's ok. Weiterhin liegt die Wohnung nur etwa 4 km vom Flughafen entfernt und ab 8 Uhr morgens donnern dann Maschinen im Anflug auf den Flughafen übers Haus. Der Flughafenverkehr ist in Tainan allerdings recht dünn und außerdem besteht anscheinend ein Nachtflugverbot. So konnte wir ungestört von Auto- und Flugverkehr schlafen.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2025Location was perfect, very central and easy to get to. The room itself was amazing, I was so happy with it, loads of light, very comfortable and spotless. It had everything I needed. The host Emily was lovely too, really helpful, friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend staying here more.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2025The theme of the accommodation is excellent. The owner was also very kind and forthcoming. I mentioned if she would be able to prepare a small gift for the birthday of my partner and she went above and beyond!
There is a pressure motor right next to the wall, on the outside of the accommodation. That can create some noise. It's less loud then the general traffic. Nothing that some ear buds can't overcome though.

For people with big luggages and mobility issues, do take note that there is no lift and this room is located on the 3rd floor and you will need to climb 2 flight of narrow stairs.
