No breakfast supplied
closer to Tauranga
No breakfast was offered! Property was in a nice, very quiet location. Immediate surroundings were very pleasantly laid out and well cared for. Although it was remotely situated, it was close by some lovely scenery and walks. The proprietors were friendly but far from being intrusive. Access to the property was straight forward and uncomplicated.
I was very surprised the studio apartment had no T.V available for guests benefit! The bathroom had no receptacle for the discarding of used towels - I had to leave it on the shower base floor. Whilst I accepted no breakfast was available, I was further surprised that the kitchen only offered basic tea and coffee. There were no biscuits, crackers, butter and jam condiments offered, which is an almost universal expectation..
Lovely spot. Well positioned
Peace and quiet!

Saubere Unterkunft, ruhiger Ort
Wir vermissten Kleidergarderobe und Haarfön.
So peaceful and beautiful everything was so perfect
Nothing
Very impressive accommodation. Everything was very clean and well-presented and had a luxury feel to it. The bed was very comfy. The private deck looked out onto a very nice garden with views to the hills in the distance. The little extras like a vase of carnations and good quality magazines were appreciated. The local area was also a lovely surprise. Only a few minutes walk to views of the water and I especially liked the huge pohutukawas and incredible sunset by the Kauri Point jetty. Nearby Ongare point, Tuapiro point and Tanners point were also worth visiting.
Minimalistic basic equipped room, very clean and comfortable bed. Very nice garden view from the bed, nice deck in a quiet location.
Handy to cafes Slys cafe in Katikati cheap excellent food big breakfast only $12.50
Found the key box a little fiddly
We had a great stay in Kauri Point Village. The apartment was very clean, new and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely to sit outside. The hosts are super friendly and will help wherever it is needed. Thanks for everything!
Beautifully appointed, peaceful and relaxing. If you want to just step out of the world and breathe this is the place to do it. A little slice of heaven on earth
Nothing, it was just what I needed
We liked the bed, the cleanliness, the outlook (garden setting from window . porch), price. Private.
A plunger and small amount of fresh coffee would be nicer than instant coffee. Lack of bedding options for hot nights (sheet + light blankets etc). Sheets and towels washed in fragrant powder. One of us has sensitive skin issues which this does not help, both of us did not like the overwhelming fragrance and would not stay again due to this alone. The shower dome coupled with strong smell of chlorine in the water all trapped inside the shower cubicle, i could only last about 3 minutes, was starting to feel off and had to open the shower door to get fresh oxygen then cut short my shower.. There is a safety concern here i would like the owner to be aware of - which is unsafe levels of chlorine gas. Those who sell water filters at home shows are well aware of this issue. :)
Tanjas & Johns place was very good. In the studio everything was perfect. The garden was beautiful and there was even a 30+ years old Kauri treetop visible as the name of the neighborhood suggests. Good WiFi. Good value for your money.
Nothing really.
It was lovely and clean. Nice and quiet location.
A tv would have been great.
I loved everything about it.
The travelling distance to get from Mt Maunganui to my accommodation.
Private yard. Nice rural outlook. Handy to walk to jetty. Clean and tidy. Lovely shower.
Could have done with a bowl to cook food in when using microwave. However was able to borrow one from woman in house. Owner? We also had internet issues. Kept disconnecting.
It's just very comfortable, The room is so clean, warm and a comfortable bed, amazin shower ,bathroom and you can't find anything to complain if you try and find 1, just amazing.love it,will definitely stay there again, and will recommend this place greatly, Big thanku to the respectful host Tanya & John.
It an amazing place,
We had a lovely stay at Kauri Point Village. Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. Hosts were very respectful of our privacy and accommodating. We especially loved sitting on the deck and looking at the beautiful garden, walking around the reserve and the very friendly and cute dog!
It should be noted that the studio is part of the hosts property and there is a shared entrance and parking lot. It didn't make much of a difference to us since the hosts were very respectful of our privacy.
Everything was really nice location was lovely and quiet

Nice location and good amenities
Very clean and quite place to stay…feels like coming to your own home;
Very clean. Beautifully appointed.
No power point in bathroom.
Beautiful garden.
We loved lots about this property. It was very well appointed, immaculately clean with all the facilities we needed. On top of that it was peaceful and had beautiful views over the lovely garden and the rural scene beyond.
Quiet location, easy to get to Katikati, waihi, Whangamata. Great hosts.
Beautiful garden setting, quiet and well appointed studio
Great overnight stay. Lovely location, beautiful garden outlook. Everything we needed.
Quiet clean. Nicely decorated
No cooktop
Lovely sunny deck. Nice kitchen. Private. Very clean and tidy. Lovely bathroom.
The linen was washed with strong smelling wash detergent. So much so that our pyjamas still smelled when we got home.
Everything was very clean and well equipped. It's a very modern place to stay and everything was very nice. The location is great if you have a car, as you can quickly drive to the nearest cities such as Tauranga or Rotura to make trips there. John and Tanya are very kind and considerate people! It will be hard to find a nicer place to stay like this.
Nothing
Too noisy of air-conditioning between walls
Location, quiet, comfortable, lovely outlook to garden
Would have liked the kitchen a bit more equipped such as toaster,
Bedroom with a kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and own private deck. Impeccably clean, everything we needed for our one night stay.
Quiet location. Lovely garden..nice walks near by. Clean and tidy. Friendly and respectful hosts. Cute dog..
