Great for the one who is looking for a homestay for the first time. What a family they have; I love the way they greet you like their family.

Hosts were very accommodating and the place was very homely. Views were great and the wind was lovely.

It is near reckong peo though not in kalpa But definitely can go ahead with this place for it's beauty! Family is well known in the locality.

Had a truly wonderful stay at this homestay! The breathtaking views from the property made every moment special, whether it was enjoying the sunrise with a cup of tea or simply taking in the beauty of the surroundings. What made the experience even more memorable was the amazing host family. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and always made us feel right at home. Their hospitality added a personal touch that you rarely find elsewhere. The food was another highlight of the stay—fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Every meal was prepared with great care and tasted incredible. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views, warm hospitality, and fantastic food, I would highly recommend this homestay. Looking forward to visiting again!

What sets KinVatika apart is the personal care and attention provided by the hosts. They were always available to ensure our comfort and took care of every small requirement with genuine warmth and kindness. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared by the owner's wife herself. Every meal was homemade, authentic, and served with so much love and affection that it felt like dining at a relative's home rather than at a homestay. The quality, taste, and variety of the food were simply outstanding.

A truly magical stay! The Kinnaur Kailash views are simply unparalleled from this property. It's an idyll, complete with friendly farm animals (cows, sheep, hens!) and a real sense of peace. The hosts were the sweetest – their warmth made the experience even more special. A perfect getaway!

We wish we could stay more! You can see Kinnaur Kailash and Shivlingam right from the property. Hosts speak English well and are very much fond of people coming to the area. We were greeted with chai (best chai we had in whole India btw) and we got to experience local life. They have cows, sheep, and a dog. They shared home made food with us - and it was made mostly of what they grow in the garden. Ghee was home made as well - with the milk from their cow. And the food was heavenly. All of this is surrounded by out-of-this-world views and you also can’t beat the location - off the main road, quiet and peaceful. Part of us wants the bliss of this place to be preserved from the tourists - but we just can’t help writing this review because of the amazing experience we got with this family. Did I mention high speed WiFi internet? The fastest we encountered on our whole trip! The room was clean and neat. We’ll definitely come again to spend more time in this beautiful place - hopefully soon.

Staying at Kinvatika Homestay was truly one of the most heartwarming experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, Kulwant Ji, the owner, welcomed me with such warmth and humility that it never felt like I was away from home. It truly became my second home, reminding me of the comfort and love of my nani ghar. The people there were incredibly kind and hospitable, making me feel like family. The home-cooked food was fresh, delicious, and filled with love—every meal felt like a treat. The children at the homestay were absolutely adorable; they took me on a hike, and I even got to celebrate Holi with the locals, sharing endless laughter and joy. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and exactly how I wanted them to be. The location was nothing short of breathtaking—the entire Kinnaur Kailash range was visible, offering mesmerizing views, especially during the full moon, which was simply out of this world. One of the most touching gestures was when I accidentally left behind the ghee I had bought there. Without hesitation, Kulwant Ji took it upon himself to send it back to me, which speaks volumes about his kindness and generosity. Kin Vatika offers the best views of the Kinner Kailash and nearby peaks from Shudarang area...of recong peo... The Host is very kind person and made us feel at home by sharing their personal space .. the experience of staying in a Himachali Homestay interacting with family members and sharing the joy in Holi festival was very memorable ... Home cooked food in the common room with heating from Bukhari uplifted our spirits despite the cold chilly winter season... 👌 Indeed a memorable experience..

Loved absolutely everything, right from the welcoming by the host Kulwant, to the view, the well kept room, the great home cooked food, and most of all the hospitality. This is the first time I've rated a property 10 on 10 and I have lived in more than 50 properties in 20+ countries.

I must say that the host is more like a big brother.He made us Maggie in the middle of the night and don't even charges a penny from us.This is not a hotel but a home away from home so my request to fellow travellers is to treat the property like their home.

So far away from home in the middle of the mountains, when you find people that warm your heart, it fulfills your journey. Aesthetically beautiful and very well kept, it’s a home far away from home.

Kin Vatika is all one needs to feel right at home. Mr. and Mrs. Kulwant Negi are a lovely host and went extra miles to make us feel comfortable… We had a lovely time talking to both of them and also with everyone in the family. I felt I was in my own family home, sitting down and eating dinner with them. Even those times when I ate out of schedule, Mrs Negi sat down with me to talk. It is those little gestures that felt so warm. To top it up is a lovely location of the property. nestled amidst apple orchard, surrounded by Kinner Kailash. It felt complete…

It’s THE PLACE TO STAY at Kalpa. The host, Mr Kulwant and his family extended such warmth and love that we were swept off our feet. The hospitality was so endearing that we felt so much at home. Kulwant, despite his busy schedule, took time to show us around the town. He is extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us comfortable during our stay. The property has the best scenic view of the fabulous Kinnaur valley area with an awesome sunrise and sunset. The property is located in an orchard and Kulwant gave us a tour of the same. We got to relish some finger licking sumptuous Kinnauri home cooked food. U’ m definitely going to recommend this place to all my friends.😊

The hospitality of Kulwantji and his family is simply amazing. It is exactly how a homestay should be. It is clean and spacious, and very hygienic. They took care of us like family members, providing us with delicious home cooked food every time. We loved it so much that post leaving the place after a 3 day stay, we came back again for a day more, before we headed back to Delhi. The views are also fantastic from the place and are exactly as shown in pics shared by the owner. Would definitely recommend without a doubt.

We stayed here in March 2024. Had one of the best homestay experience Excellent location, rooms and amazing host. We felt as if its our second home. Warm people and excellent homely food. Highly recommend for stays. The view from the deck is out of the world.

Best location for stay in the entire region. Exceptionally kind and helping host. Kulwant bhaiyya is a friend we all need. Great service. Eating the home cooked food together with bhaiyya's family is a memory I'll always cherish. Comfortable rooms, even the pillows have woolen covers for the convenience of the customers in the winter season. The entire flooring is covered with carpet. So much is offered in such a reasonable amount that you'll be grateful.

The owner was very polite and friendly. We were 6 friends. His family welcomed us all with tea and snacks. We had a great dinner party together with the family. Awesome home cooked food. The rooms were very tidy and well maintained. Everything was overwhelming. The best part of the place is the view. It's a 360° Kailash range view. You can see the kinnaur kailash peak as well. You can feel the whole himachali village vibe at the place. Kin(Kinnaur) Vatika, the name itself says it all. They have a small poultry place, cows and sheep. They have such a huge land area where they grow apples and fresh vegetables. Owner's mother offered us different varieties of juicy fresh apples from their farm. We enjoyed our Workation. They have a good WiFi facility. It was one of my best homestays in Himachal. Must visit place!!!!
