uma informação importante é que o hotel está mais próximo de reckong peo do que do centro de kalpa (isso é muito importante porque, se pegar o ônibus público até o ponto final de kalpa, estará muito longe do hotel para voltar caminhando. a vista do hotel é muito bonita (a melhor de todas as hospedagens que estive no vale). os proprietários são muito simpáticos e prestativos e até autorizaram a lavagem das minhas roupas em uma máquina de lavar roupa da propriedade e sem custos. o proprietário também me levou até o terminal de ônibus de onde saem ônibus para shimla.

se você estiver a pé, para ir do hotel até o ponto de ônibus público, a caminhada não será pequena e com uma grande subida. para ir até reckong peo, é possível ir a pé (se você gosta de caminhar). porém, para ir até o centro de kalpa, no templo, somente com transporte público. em julho, o tempo pode mudar rapidamente. eu planejava ir a sangla e descobri que o rio tinha destruído a ponte de acesso ao local. então, dependendo da época que você vá para essa região, é extremamente importante que fique monitorando as condições das estradas e sempre ter alguns dias de folga na viagem para alguma emergência (estrada interditada, por exemplo).

The homestay was a bit away from the main town. So it was a bit difficult to get food especially since I went in the off season when they were short staffed. However the host was generous to share a part of their lunch on request.

One of the best accomodations I've ever been to. The family is very kind and friendly. They serve good food and the view from the room is breathtaking. Would definitely come again! The owner also helped me with ms permit and dropped me in town for my bus. Thanks a lot!

The highlight of Shudarang Inn is waking up to a breathtaking Kinnaur Kailash view right from your private balcony - it’s the kind of vista that stops you mid-sentence. But what truly made this stay special were the hosts, Deepika and Vijay. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring : they went above and beyond with our two-year-old and made us feel completely at home. Rare hospitality.

Absolutely nothing to complain about honestly! A small suggestion - slightly darker blackout curtains would be a nice addition for late risers. But that’s entirely our problem, not theirs. 😂

Vijay is an outstanding host: kind, helpful, and attentive (without being intrusive at all). The room has an amazing view and was very comfortable. The peaceful location, above Rekong Peo, was within an easy 20-minute uphill bus or taxi ride to Kalpa. The home cooking was delicious and hygienic. This was a fantastic experience staying here!

Free transportation from reckongpeo market and bus stand to the property, just drop Vijay a WhatsApp message and he will be ready to help. Good arrangements for dinner orders (homemade thali meals) during winter season when walking out can be challenging at night. Vijay provided good advice for day trip to Sangla, Kalpa and Chitkul, thanks a lot! Good view overlooking the Kinner Kailash mountain range.

Nous avons adoré l'accueil que nous a réservé le couple de gérants de cet Home Stay. Ils ont tout mis en œuvre pour nous faciliter le séjour et nous les en remercions. Ils nous ont par exemple accompagné pour faire nos permis pour entrer dans la vallée du Spiti. Les repas faits maison et pris sur place, (petits déjeuners et diners) étaient excellents. La chambre avec vue sur montagne était très agréable. Nous vous recommandons cet endroit, D'après notre expérience, Rékong Péo est mieux que Kalpa pour séjourner. On peut accéder à Kalpa très facilement par bus en 20 min ( bus toutes les demi-heure)

La chambre du bas avec vue sur jardin est un peu plus vieillotte. Le home stay est un peu excentré, il faudra donc un peu plus marcher.

One of the most amazing places I have ever stayed! The view is outstanding, I’ve never seen anything like it. Apartment is massive in size, clean and very comfortable. Hosts are incredibly helpful & sweet, and the food is delicious & affordable. Location is a short walk to town, but hosts will pick you up if required. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently stayed at shudarang Innand had an amazing experience. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade Food, which featured fresh local ingredients. The location was also perfect—peaceful.

The location of the room situated is excellent, you will get the best view of mount kailash,when you wake up in the morning, from the balcony, the hosts are very good and their hospitality. They are very humble and good care taker. The rooms are good and they even guided the local temple sri chandika devi temple which was very beautiful.

Extremely kind and accommodating hosts made our short stay very special. The apartment was very spacious, it had everything we needed. Excellent views. One note, this is not actual the Kalpa village, it is a few kilometers drive to the village.

They provide an entire apartment. Mountain view from the balcony is excellent. They have an apple garden so there was plenty of greenery. But wathcher's can see a lot of birds. Our host were very humble and excellent people. They were very responsive. Their Home cooked food was also good.

The view from the terrace is spectacular. We sat there at mid night to watch stars. The host, Dr. Dipika, is a gem of a person. Helped us in every way possible when one of us got sick. The place has a homely vibe.

We had an incredible stay at this location. The hospitality was outstanding, and the mountain view was breathtaking. The best part? You get the entire charming apartment and a lovely balcony overlooking the scenery. Vijay Ji was remarkably down-to-earth and exceptionally kind and helpful. The food was homemade and tasted absolutely delightful.

Yes, it was a pleasure staying with Vijay ji and family, the property was located just towards the well known Kinnar Kailash Peak however it was tremendous experience while walking up in front of the Lord Shiva surrounding, moreover the property was very fine, neat and clean with immense helpful services whether it is outside or inside the property, pure hand made food, proper hygiene. Overall bestest property in Rekong Peo with lovely people.

It was a treat staying at Vijay ji's homestay. You have the whole apartment to yourself including kitchen and common area. The food is good and he makes sure you are at home. Honestly, it's better than most of the hotels in Kalpa. One should certainly have a stay experience here. Oh, plus the view from the terrace is astounding!
