To reach Mekong Lodge, the only way is by boat because the lodge is located on an island and lays just beside the Tien River. Therefore, please follow special check-in instruction as below to get the lodge:
The lodge's meeting point in Cai Be is at Cai Be tourist harbor in Cai Be town, the coordinate on Google map is 10.328691, 106.033713 (Vietnamese is Bến đò du lịch Cái Bè tại Khu 2, Thị trấn Cái Bè, Huyện Cái Bè, Tỉnh Tiền Giang. ngay góc đường Xẻo Mây & Trưng Nữ Vương, tọa độ 10.328691, 106.033713).
From Cai Be tourist harbor, the lodge will arrange free of charge a motor boat to pick you up and transfer you to the Lodge (10-15 mintues by boat) on check in date and transfer you back to Cai Be tourist harbor on check out date.
Please call the lodge 30 minutes before you arrive Cai Be tourist harbor to make their proper arrangement for you.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Well, they are deceptive, once you have booked they then tell you that you must use a boat to get to the resort, if the boats are not going to and from the resort to pick up guests, you must pay to get to shops and the town. No TVs anywhere. The whole resort floods with high tides from the river, God only knows what's in that water. Would I stay there again or would I recommend it to anyone, absolutely not.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Le fait de venir en bateau privé jusqu’au Lodge, la piscine incroyablement belle et grande, le jardin avec toutes ces plantes, le restaurant au bord de l’eau, le bungalow avec jacuzzi privé face au Mekong, le pt déjeuner varié, le jeune homme adorable et professionnel du restaurant (Vinh), le prêt de vélo pour aller visiter la petit île de Cai Be.
Le jacuzzi est dans un état de délabrement (manque de faïence), pas nettoyé (j’ai dû le faire moi-même avec un foulard car il n’avait pas de filet), rappeler 2x qu’on me le remplisse.

Facilities a bit tired. While there were some lovely exceptions, many staff didn't seem very friendly towards guests or enthusiastic about their jobs and seemed to spend a lot of time on their phones. Four nights was too long for us.

Not much going on in the immediate vicinity. We took their bicycles out for a ride but they were pretty beat up and made riding a bit unpleasant. Semi flat tires that wobble. Breaks that weren't 100% functional on the 2 bikes we used.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Incredible value for money. comfortable rooms. The semi outdoor bathroom is lovely.Restaurant was fine. Jacuzzi tub was nice but took some communication to get there. Staff in the restaurant were very nice. Very good massage at on site spa.
The resort was very clean itself but the surrounding area is not and sadly the river is full of debris. The excursions are very limited- I expected to have an excursion more on the water looking at how the Mekong serves the countries food supply and how the people live. Instead it was a quick trip to the other side of the river, a smaller hand powered boat trip down a canal which would have been nice except for the litter everywhere on and out of the water. Then onto tourist shops really. A bit disappointing. I know the staff are locals and not fully trained in hotel Management but the reception staff senior lady didn’t even smile on arrival. It’s a good value stay though but I wouldn’t go again

Ne am inteles mai mult prin semne cu cei de la restaurant sau curatenie . Am inteles ca inca invata insa nu am simtit ca sunt interesati cu adevarat de studiu. In baie a mirosit a pipi pe tot parcursul sejurului dar nu la un nivel care sa deranjeze tare. La micul dejun am fost serviti in varianta a la carte ,care este minimala si putin satisfacatoare .

Nên có bàn làm việc, bàn trà hiện tại chỉ phù hợp cho ngồi chơi không thể làm việc được vì chật và khá thấp. Ổ cắm điện trong phòng ít quá, cần cắm laptop với sạc điện thoại thì chỉ có 2 ổ ngay giường, mình phải mang ra phòng tắm để cắm sạc. Wifi lodge có tách ra từ 1-2 phòng chung 1 wifi id nhưng khá yếu.

Peut être faire attention aux chats qui grimpent sur les tables, ce n'est pas très hygiénique. Par contre je vous encourage à vous en occuper et les soigner.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026Tout!!!! tant au niveau matériel : piscine, lodge.. Qu'au niveau du personnel qui nous a énormément aidé (Je pense à notre arrivée à Cai be à 19h30. Un bus local nous a déposé à l'entrée de la ville. Nous ne savions pas où aller ni comment trouver un taxi et un employé de l'hôtel, alors qu'il rentrait chez lui, nous a grandement aidé. !!! Et enfin la philosophie du projet qui respecte l'humain et la nature

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, dass Badezimmer war auch sehr groß. Das Hotel liegt gleich am Fluss und man wird von einem Shuttleboot abgeholt. Die Fahrräder kann man sich umsonst ausleihen und ins Dorf fahren.
es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Jediným pozitivem tohoto hotelu je milý a přátelský personál, který se snaží hostům vyjít vstříc. Bohužel tím ale veškeré klady končí. Hotel rozhodně neodpovídá kategorii 4 hvězdiček. Čistota byla nedostatečná, matrace byly špinavé a neustále sjížděly z postele, protože nebyly správně upevněné a ležely pouze na desce. Sprchová hlavice nefungovala správně a stříkala všude možně, jen ne tam, kam měla. Snídaně byla velmi chudá a neodpovídala standardu, který by člověk od takového hotelu očekával. Celkově lze říct, že pokud se spokojíte s minimem, může vám hotel vyhovovat. V opačném případě bych doporučil poohlédnout se po jiném ubytování.

Personnel très sympathique et dévoué, toujours disponible pour répondre à nos attentes. La piscine de l’hôtel est fantastique. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel qui est un excellent rapport qualité prix et surtout à taille humaine. Ce n’est pas une énorme « usine à touriste » comme certains établissements peuvent l’être.
