This place not well maintained as before. Dusty everywhere. The owner quite arrogant no greet or smile to the customers. Better find another places. Always be my favourite to stay when come to Ipoh. Now not anymore. Please improve your services.

Exceptional staff/location. My second time staying here. And it did not disappoint. Best value for mo ey stay in Ipoh.

Excellent accommodation. Smooth self check-in & out. Complimentary tea and biscuits topped up the wonderful stay. And the Tom Cat was as loving as always. All in this dream house is a dream come true. Its a well maintained house. This house gave me a different meaning of Guest house coz its beyond a guest house a 5star guest house.

That i only stayed for 2nights no 20 nights.

The stay was very pleasant, calm, and cozy. We were warmly welcomed by a cute and friendly grey cat, which made the experience even more memorable. I also loved the strong water pressure in the bathroom, and the self check-in and check-out process was very smooth and convenient. The location is excellent, with easy access to a variety of food options nearby.

The room lighting was quite dim. It would be great to have an additional brighter light to make the room feel more comfortable. The TV currently requires self-connection, so adding some ready-to-watch TV channels would improve the guest experience. Additionally, having a small trash bin inside the bathroom would be very helpful.

I noticed a sewing needle on the bathroom floor. For safety reasons, I hope the cleaning staff can pay more attention when cleaning.Thank you

1) Had some issue with the door contact, staff or owner did attend to me immediately after I complained through WhatsApp, but the attitude wasn't pleasant. 2) One of the towel was stinky I would have to use another one 3) Mosquitoes breeding in both of the plant pot, I would have to drain away the water along with few of the buddy larvaes 4) Mini bar had the bad odour smell of durian, probably from previous guest 5) There's a web cobbing at the corner of the ceiling 6) There's a water fountain at the balcony, but the noise of the pump machine above the Aircon return grille was very loud all the time 7) There's 2 hair dryer In the room, but both of them malfunction 8) No iron in the room, basic amenities 9) Shower head was spoiled as shown in picture without us even touching it 10) Aircon was very warm even switch to 16'C

Location is great, situated in a residential area and ample parking space. Rooms on the ground floor has access to a small balcony where you can enjoy the lush greenery outside. Rooms are not too big, however clean white linens and comfortable bed gave us that welcoming feel.

The cleaners must have overlook the dust resting on the cabinets.

Saya suka semua. Dari hospitality dari owner sampai ke bilik. Bilik kemas, bersih. Air kat toilet laju. Aircond dia sejuk. Tv channel pun kira ok utk orang yang bawa anak. Bilik spacious ye untuk family room. Takde benda pun nak komplen. Nak cari rumah dia pun senang. Nanti nak repeat lagi.

Location is not too bad except have to make a U turn (traffic light wait quite long) to go to Ipoh city centre. The hotel is convenient as parking is right in front of the house. No checkin is required after booking is confirmed which is good.

No replenishment of shampoo and bath gel. Basic toiletries is not provided - some travellers may not be aware of. Some lights in the room are not working. Overall the room is rather dim, a little brighter will be nice.

It was soo cozy. Mr Michael really help a lot. The staff aware that i am OKU, transfer my room from 1st floor to new room in ground floor.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this homestay. It was very cozy and comfortable and the location was convenient. The host thoughtfully provided essentials such as a hairdryer, clean towels, shampoo and shower gel which made our stay even more pleasant and hassle-free. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciate the effort put into making guests feel comfortable.

A few areas could be improved. The room lighting was quite dim at night so brighter lights would make the space more comfortable. We also needed to go downstairs to the backyard to access the water dispenser located in the kitchen which was slightly inconvenient. For hygiene purposes, it would be better if coffee, tea and sugar were provided in individual packets instead of large shared containers. Additionally, we noticed a long hair inside the keropok container so a little more attention to cleanliness would be appreciated. Lastly, it would be lovely if the hosts smiled and greeted guests when they smiled. It would make the stay feel even warmer and more welcoming.

Lovely big, clean and comfy room. Communal areas in the lobby and kitchen area are a really lovely touch. Very quiet location. We first booked 4 nights but extended to 6 as we like it so much. Also we got a parking ticket whilst out and the owner paid it for us as we did not have a Malaysian account. Over and above kindness.

The appearance and condition of the guest house itself makes me feel homely. Location is great in a housing area. The amenities and everything provided in the hotel is rather complete although the hotel seems unmanned.

You need to have your own vehicle since there is no public transportation nearby. The guest house is unmanned, so it's quite worrying to think in case there's any kind of emergency and we don't have anyone to turn to on the spot. Of course there is an emergency number provided. But just in case, it's still a bit worrying.

The location is safe and very good. The room is not like a guest house, this looks like a hotel room. Everything is very good in staying at Mydream guest house.

However, traveling with a baby is kind of a rush every time. Better separate the private kitchen and the guest area. So, will there be no misunderstanding about how to use the kitchen, even though the kitchen is not for everyone? I think people with their family like to find a guest house with a kitchen because they prefer to cook rather than purchase food online. People always see first about the review first of the guest house.

It is a great place to relax. I liked their backyard, which has a nice patch of greenery where I spent my afternoon enjoying the cool shade from the trees. They provide free coffee and tea for guests to enjoy. The bed was also very comfortable. Plus, it’s not too far from the city center, which makes it convenient.

It's not that I didn't like it — it's just a personal preference: the pillow was a bit too high for me. Also, if you don’t have your own transport, it might be a bit difficult to get around. But nowadays, you can easily use Grab (e-hailing) to go out.
