Reviewed Aug 22, 2026God beliggenhed i centrum. Tæt på togstation. Hyggelig altan, hvor vi elskede at spise morgenmad. Der blev gjort rent midt på ugen. Der var mangehåndklæder, der også blev vasket. Der var masser af køkkengrej - alt hvad man skulle bruge. God og venlig vært, informerede om det nødvendige og gjorde det nemt at finde stedet. Man fik meget for pengene.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026This apartment was amazing. It had everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The whole place was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and fresh towels. With a kitchen/diner, bathroom and bedroom area with the added bonus of a small terrace with beautiful views. Air conditioning worked brilliantly, as did the wi-fi. Location was excellent in the heart of the town and a few minutes from the train station and beach. Plenty of restaurants too. Also, a beautiful church whose bells could be heard was nearby. We cooked at the apartment with the fresh pasta the host had left us, along with a beautiful homemade tiramisu. We were very spoilt! The host was excellent and made themselves available to us should the need arise. I cannot recommend this lovely little apartment highly enough. I really do wish we could have stayed longer and ideally wish I could move in!!!
As a fat, fifty year old with a dodgy knee, I did struggle with the climb to the property and the many steps. But, this is more a ‘me’ problem as all of Riomaggiore is steep with steps - I just need to be fitter!

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Really great location in the center of the town. It is a small apartment but it has everything you need for a short stay. Host has been very helpfull with instructions how to find the apartment as it is a little bit complicated when you have i o9n9b the small steps in the house and go to the apartment which is actualy in the back yard. As the Riomaggiore is very limited with space this apartment gives you a small ⁷2 which is a good base for exploring the area. i jhad everything we needed and AC unit worked fine. Wi-Wi also worked good and the fridge has been fulled with some food what is really a nice gesture from the hosts. Restaurants, bars and all the shops are just on your door step. Eventhough it lookes a bit like you are entering a slum on the way to the entrance it is actualy a nice little apartment. All in all I would stay here again. It is a good value for money.
Actualy everything was good. Maybe for some people a narrow entrance to the shower coul be a problem but for us it has been no problem. If you are having a car that could be a problem as parking facilities in the town are very limited. Public garage can be full very day even early in the morning and for bigger cars it is not suitable as the entrance hight is 1.90. Note also that the parking in fromt of the graveyard is limited on 30 minutes for few places and two hours for other pkaces so you can not park there for a longer period. Free parking is only alowed where the white lanes are and this areas are quite small about 1.5- 2.0km uphil on the main road to La Spezia. You can walk down on the main road or by steep steps (shorter). If you are not for walking on the high sun you can use public bus but it takes some time to get the bus. If you are arriving by train you want have thise problems. Some apartments coul have maybe acces to special areas for that area to park but probably only few of them.

L'appartamento non era ben organizzato nonostante lo spazio a disposizione, ad es. i costumi bagnati non potevano essere appesi da nessuna parte. Nell'appartamento c'era un forte odore di muffa.

El apartamento deluxe tiene muchísima humedad, incluso rozando condiciones insalubres. Hay algunas zonas del apartamento que incluso acumulaban agua y humedad en la pared. Hace falta un saneamiento. Es una pena porque la anfitriona fue muy amable.

L’umidità della casa fa si che rimanga sempre presente molto forte un odore di muffa sgradevole. In oltre la muffa era presente in svariate zone della casa tra cui sull’angolo vicino al letto, sotto il lavandino della cucina e ovviamente in bagno. Le finestre sono molto vecchie e la casa non è affatto insonorizzata rispetto agli appartamenti sovrastanti e antistanti.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The accommodation is at the heart of Riomaggiore location up a curious staircase. It was cool from the morning heath, charming and ideal for a few nights. Our room had a fridge, sofa and a modern bathroom, check in was easy and key access also. I highly recommend this accommodation and would use it again.
The host did not provide a tourist pass which is useful of using lifts and other bits.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Alessandro is a great host! The apartment is in a great location - quite a bit of steps to get up! The room was clean, it was spacious and the best part was that the whole apartment was to ourselves. There is no actual "kitchen" but she left us with coffee, glasses and some basic essentials. The only slight problem was the washroom - it had a smell like trapped moisture. We kept the windows open for the whole day and it was eventually gone. Overall, it was a great apartment and the host was wonderful - she let us come in early to drop off our bags, pick them up later even after checkout and was very easily accessible. I highly recommended for anyone wishing to stay in Riomaggiore!

Die Unterkunft hat leider ein Feuchtigkeitsproblem. Das riecht man sofort, wenn man rein kommt. An mehreren Stellen ist Schimmel zu erkennen. Wir kpnnten wegen dem Geruch und der Feuchtigkeit kaum schlafen. Leider ein Reinfall...

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Posizione ottima, staff cordiale e gentile, camera di dimensioni generose e letto comodo. Check in via WhatsApp con foto chiare dell'entrata e ritiro della chiavetta con keybox permettono l'arrivo a qualsiasi ora.
La camera, avendo solo la porta d'ingresso e una piccolissima finestrella posizionata sullo stesso lato, odorava di muffa in maniera non troppo invasiva ma chiaramente avvertibile. La finestrella già minuscola del bagno, con un infisso a bascula molto datato, non riusciva a garantire l'aerazione necessaria a prevenire la formazione di condensa alle pareti.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Guests love and deserve to be welcomed. Welcomed with kind words and with an appropriate accomodation. I didn’t feel these at this place. Booked it weeks before, but no message, no check-in information. Only after several texts and a call to the host after the check-in time they gave the details. And the flat: cozy, but extremely cold. The AC remote didn’t have any battery inside. Host helped quickly (thx!) and the AC worked, but it was still cold inside, all furniture gave it off. Bathroom has no heating at all! Maybe the reason was also that I visited off season. Overall, I felt like a forgotten guest.

Piccole aggiunte alla dotazione di cucina e bagno sarebbero molto utili, come un microonde o un set di cortesia. In fase di prenotazione non era ben chiaro l’importo del supplemento per gli animali, poi rivelatosi piuttosto alto, e che avendo due cani ha quindi inciso significativamente sul totale già prepagato. Per nulla chiaro anche il metodo di pagamento di quest’ultimo in fase di prenotazione e inizialmente la comunicazione con l’host per poter avere queste informazioni é stata piuttosto lenta e poco efficace

Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner le chauffage (clim réversible). L'hôte nous a conseillé d'augmenter les degrés, mais nous lui avons répondu que cela ne fonctionnait toujours pas. Nous n'avons pas eu de réponse...

The stairs to get up to the flat were rather dangerous, no handrail. They provided a kettle but no coffee maker or any tea, coffee or anything else to make breakfast with, despite saying it was a "kitchen". The room was dark as only one window, covered in a shutter.
