Very nice breakfast. Very clean and hospitable with a very pleasant English-speaking staff member.

It was in the Medina so a bit of walking to get there from the car park and there are some dirty streets nearby but nothing the venue can do anything about.

You could hear everyone having breakfast from our room, I think it’s just how it’s isolated and because we were right in front of the breakfast area

Pequeno-almoço tradicional, a Emile foi incrível, embora não falasse ingles conseguiu sempre nos compreender e facilitar. Tive os meus dois primeiros dias não muito bem do estômago e preocuparam-se, facilitaram bananas e iogurtes. Não é um pequeno almoço europeu mas é bom, o meu namorado adorou. O Moussa também foi super receptivo mesmo antes de chegarmos e ajudou-nos com o transfere. Para não falar no Abdel que foi muito simpatico e sempre prestativo, deixaram-nos sempre à vontade e com privacidade. Super recomendo!! Apesar de ser em uma zona meio escondida, pode assustar um pouco no inicio, é perto da praça Jemaa El Fnaa e também do Bahia Palace - praça de taxis a 500 metros, com lojas de conveniência perto também.

O único apontamento a fazer é sobre a cama rija e as almofadas altíssimas, muito altas mesmo, o que nos valeu algumas dores de pescoço e desconforto no sono.

Super kind staff always there to help and guide. Breakfast was the typical Maroccan one - good quality - tasty and the lady serving was kind and pleasant.

Room decoration is a bit old and uninteresting. I would say that although there was some good space in total in the room, the final situation seemed a bit crammed. The area where the bed (quite hard one!) is placed is actually really really tight leaving minimum space to move. As the case is in all Riads, the noise is an issue here too. Oct2025 there were significant road works in the plaza which is next to the Riad and there were tons of dust and mud - make sure you were not your best shoes! Finally, there are also works/extensions in the electricity grid of the area and there are very frequent power outages.

Beautiful riad! The host looked after us when we had food poisoning coming from a different city. He was very helpful and all staff were kind to us. The road was clean, in a good location and service was top notch. Thank you!

The location was perfect, right next to the Medina. Abdel took amazing care of us and regularly checked in via WhatsApp to make sure we were doing well and hadn’t gotten lost, which made us feel very welcome and supported. The food was good and we enjoyed our meals there. The rooms were cleaned daily, and while you might notice a few little imperfections, that’s part of the authentic charm of a Riad in Marrakech – it’s not a luxury hotel, but for what it is, it’s truly great. The Riad itself is beautiful, full of light, with lovely traditional details and even more charming in person than in the photos. Overall, we felt very well looked after and had a wonderful stay.

Our host Abdel was definitely the highlight of our stay at Chez Henriette! He recommended great places to try out local food but also went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and were not left wanting for anything. From waiting for us to check in the early hours of the morning to helping us get into the hotel when the key wouldnt work at 11pm, he was extremely accomodating and helpful. The breakfast served was also delicious and we could have had it for every meal. The location was great as it was a short walk to the main square and attractions but also less than a 30 min drive from the airport.. The only difficulty is if you are travelling with large suitcases, navigating the cobbled streets of the Medina looking for a taxi can be a little difficult but even this was made far easier thanks to Abdel's clear directions! Thanks Abdel for making our stay excellent!

Our only feedback would be that the air-conditioning in the room be directed towards the bed as we felt extremely hot on the days that we stayed there due to the air conditioning blowing the other way. Abdel helped us with this too as a table fan made a huge difference to the comfort level and we were no longer awake for long hours sweating.

The riad is very well located if you intend to do everything on foot. It was clean, the facilities were good. The staff is friendly and attentive and always ready to help out planning your day.

If you need to use a taxi, the access by car is not that easy meaning you will always end up paying a little extra. Better to walk if possible and grab a taxi somewhere else. This was not a big problem for us as we mainly walked but worth considering if you have mobility problems. The way to the riad is a bit shady at night as it's not well lit but we had no troubles. During our stay, there were electricity problems outside of the riad's control (external source) that meant the electricity was going out every 5 minutes and with it, the WiFi and AC (which beeps loudly each time the electricity comes back). We believe there were ways to mitigate this (battery powered light sources, power outage prevention plugs for the WiFi router) but not much was done even though the situation stretched for at least 3 days. Even though it was not the riad's fault entirely, it still affected the quality of our rest and thus our ability to enjoy our stay to the fullest. If you get loud insensitive guests staying at the same time as you (as we did), it's going to be occasionally loud inside your room as well, especially if you are staying on the bottom floor next to the breakfast areas. I recommend taking earplugs. Also having warnings about keeping it low while inside the riad should help.

Everything was to standard

We had such a great time here! Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the staff was absolutely lovely. We want to give a big thank you to Moussa, Abdel, and the housekeeper (sorry, we forgot her name). It was so nice chatting with you all and you were always there for us. We truly felt at home 🤗

Honestly, we enjoyed everything. If we had to mention one small downside, it would be the pillow: it was a bit too high and firm for our taste.

We had the best stay at Chez Henriette! The team were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. It was a beautiful riad in the heart of Marrakesh, perfect distance from so many places. Breakfast was fabulous and the place was really clean, with great showers. The rooftop was a sun trap and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks. We recommend highly! We had a great experience in this Riad. Everything was super starting from location to offered services. It's very quiet but at the same time really close to the buzzing central square. A typical Moroccan breakfast was served every morning and we could enjoy a cup of tea upon our arrival. But the real stars of our stay were Moussa and Abdel who made our stay truly unforgettable. They were so friendly and kind to us that it made us feel at home. We will never forget their kindness and hospitality!

Staying at Riad Chez Henriette was a truly wonderful experience, made even more special thanks to the incredible kindness and availability of Moussa and Abdel. From the very first moment, they made us feel completely at ease — we arrived late at night around 11 PM, and despite the hour, they welcomed us with water, food, and warm milk. Throughout our stay, they guided us around the city, offering tips and recommendations on what to do, what to avoid, and how to move and behave within the Medina. When they found out we wanted to get henna, they recommended someone they trusted and even arranged for her to come directly to the riad. One morning, we had to leave very early, and they kindly brought breakfast to our room at 7 AM — an hour and a half before the usual breakfast time. They also moved us to an even more beautiful room as soon as it became available. I could give a thousand more examples of their kindness. This is a highly recommended experience for anyone who wants to experience Morocco in the most authentic, home-like way. The riad is also in a super central and convenient location, and they offer transfer services for getting around. The cherry on top: on our last day, Moussa and Abdel invited us to have a truly local experience by joining Abdel’s family for lunch at their home — an unforgettable moment that we will always carry in our hearts.

Excellent location, near everything but without the noise from the shops. Moussa and Abdel are extremely helpful with any queries and recommendations! We used the pick-up-offer which I would strongly recommend if you’re visiting Morocco for the first time.

The riad henriette met all our expectations and more. Small riad and less than 10min walk to the medina. Breakfast was lovely and fresh every day. What made the stay special was the staff they went above and beyond. If we return to marakesh we would book again.

The breakfast was so lovely, homemade msemmen and various dips with fruits as well. Abdel and Moussa were genuinely so accommodating, kind and friendly - they made the stay lovely. The bed was comfy. The rooms had mood lighting which would be lovely for a couple but we struggled with being able to see very much! It was a few minutes walk away from the souks and close to most sights which was great for us as we didn't have to bother with taxis. Would recommend!

Was a bit cold at night which we didn't expect.

Great quiet location, yet close to all areas of Marrakesh. The riad itself was as described in a traditional Moroccan decor and the service from Moussa, Abdil and the team was great, friendly helpful advice and always interested in how our stay was going, couldn’t recommend enough and would def. Recommend if you’re considering a stay. Great roof terrace which was great for relaxing and catching a few rays. The lovely mixed breakfast everyday was a great way to set you up for your trips and saves a load of time. We used their transfer service as well which was great and took you from airport to door quickly and on time, saving hunting around in the dark on a late night arrival.

Excellent service from Moussa and the team. We received mint tea and biscuits on arrival and were able to leave our bags before and after check-in/check out. The décor and facilities are beautiful and the room was spacious. There was an extra blanket to use. Pillows and the bed were comfy. Breakfast was also lovely. It wasn't very soundproof but that wasn't too much of a problem as everyone was quiet. Be careful as the water in the shower can get really hot. There is a lovely terrace, but we didn't get a chance to use it. We were also able to book a Hammam and massage through the team at a nearby Riad. Overall a great stay and would come again!

the room was beautiful and the manager very helpful. but there was hair all over the floor in the room and also in the bathroom there was a tuft of hair in the bathtub, which was terrible. upon arrival, it smelled everywhere, but after a while the room smelled of mustiness and mold. breakfast was weak and without tea, which we had to ask for. the position entered on booking is not the same address on google maps. we have been looking for it for a long time. hair everywhere and a lot of hair in the shower. a lot of small flies that breed in dampness poor morning

Moussad and Abdul are wonderful hosts. They go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. They are some of the best hosts I have ever head at a hotel/airbnb/etc. If it is your first time traveling to Morocco, this can make a big difference. I recommend that you coordinate as much as possible with the riad, especially the transfer to/from the airport. The riad is cozy and well located. The facilities were all in great condition. The WiFi is spotty sometimes, but overall worked great and they were quick to reset if there was an issue. If others have complaints about the facilities -- just remember you're in Morocco and enjoy the adventure! We stayed on the second floor; I recommend paying a little extra to stay on the second floor, I think it can make a difference. The riad is on a side street; it's safe during the day, but like all locations in Marrakech, I would be careful not to walk around too late. They keep everything very clean.

I think the breakfast is fine for a free breakfast but nothing special. Keep in mind that they do not have eggs every day, though they seem to accommodate special requests. However, in all my experiences of hotel breakfasts, it is definitely on the better side!

The best thing about our stay at Riad Chez Henriette was the staff! Moussa, Abdel and team were so warm and welcoming, they made us feel like family. They helped us figure out the best, safest way to get around and helped us with tours and transportation when we asked. They were so accomodating and a key part of making our Marrakesh visit outstanding. I can't recommend Riad Chez Henriette highly enough, especially if you want the experience of staying in the old part of the city.

This riad is highly recommended and our next stay in Marrakech will be in this riad again. It is cozy, beautiful and clean. The location is also excellent for exploring the old city and all the sights around it, all within a 5-15 minute walk. Most importantly, the hospitality and service from Moussa, Abdel and the service lady (sorry, I forgot her name) is excellent. I travel a lot, both for leisure and especially for business, but I have never experienced such courteous, attentive and excellent service. I would like to thank Riad Chez Henriette and wish them all the best and look forward to seeing them again.

The Riad and our room was really clean, everyday we had room service with new towels. Moussa and Abdel are great hosts, they are very welcoming, friendly and try to help where they can. Maria and Abdel prepared a fresh breakfast everyday, which included a daily changing part (we had egg or fresh fruit).

The property was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and our room was lovely and spacious. Moussa was a fantastic host and gave us lots of advice and recommendations- would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

Our stay at Riad Chez Henriette was great. The room was lovely, the location was very central and the rooftop terrace was a nice addition. The staff were exceptional - Moussa and Abdel both really went above and beyond and made us feel at home. We are very grateful for all their help and making our stay so comfortable.

The wifi was a bit patchy at times but that was the only issue

The Riad is perfectly located in the Medina within walking distance to all the souks and restaurants but with parking close by for taxis. Moussa and Abdul were amazing hosts, booking all our tours and taxis and looking after us for our entire stay.

A charming Riad in a great, central location. Beautifully furnished in the classic Moroccan style, with a lovely terrace to relax on and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Moussa and his team were exceptionally welcoming, warm and professional. I highly recommend their airport transfer service if you are not familiar with the city, and one of the team is always on hand to answer any questions or give recommendations. The place was spotlessly clean, and the room was very comfortable. Next time I'm in town I will certainly be staying again. 10/10

For me, everything was perfect!

The property was very neat and clean. The rooms had ample of natural light and were quite airy! The host, Moussa was very helpful with literally everything. Breakfast was amazing and we had a lovely time.

The riad is beautifully designed in a central location. Our room as nicely spaced with a comfortable and big bed including an air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and also well designed and included a big shower. Moussa and his team are really welcoming, friendly and helpful so that we totally enjoyed our stay!

This is a really beautiful Riad! It's a new opened property and Moussa the owner is always happy to help you and listen to advices. He is a really nice and warm person. Feel free to tell him any places that can improve and you will see it before you leave!

Amazing Riad located in the medina. Located at a great location, close to great restaurants and the market but yet a quite Riad

The property is central to the Medina and only 10 mins walk from the main square, the riad staff and truly incredible who cannot do enough for you, room cleaned every day along with clean towels etc. The breakfast is basic but ok and sets you up for a day of sightseeing. The property is very quiet considering its location.

Great was great! It was made fresh everyday. Moussa and Abdel were incredibly helpful by making arrangements for the spa, airport transfer, and everyday questions.

I wish I was able to check in sooner but I did come very early in the morning so it was understandable.

Moussa and Abdel were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They gave us detailed suggestions and made sure we felt safe and welcome at all times. The room was exceptionally clean.

I liked the pretty room and the patio, it was a new hotel. Staffs were friendly. It was quite area, there was no mosque praying sounds. Near the hotel, there is a parking lot where you can find a taxi instead of going to the main taxi place.

I didn't like that the ground floor room could hear the noises from the staffs as there is no separate room or space for the staff, as they stay overnight, you could hear them watching something or coughing, The breakfast in general was really similar everyday. The address in the google map was wrong, the picture in booking shows the terrace and I thought you could enjoy the view from there having breakfast but in reality there is no use of terrace and there is no view from the terrace. There is only one hair dryer and if someone from different room got it first, you cannot use. I could not use the hair dryer for 3 days. The room is quite dark. And this is not the hotel's fault but seems like all yhe Moroccan bathrooms does not have the shower curtain, and the floor was full of water after the shower.

I stayed at the property with my son, and we could not fault it. The help we received before arriving (organising our transfer from the airport) was amazing and ensured we had a very good trip. Our room was exceptionally clean, breakfast delicious, a traditional Moroccan breakfast, and the care we received from all the staff made us feel at home. They went far beyond out expectations.

My friend and I recently visited Marrakech for the first time and decided to book this Riad based on the positive reviews we had read. From the moment we made our reservation, Moussa was in constant contact, promptly answering all our questions. On the day of our arrival, he coordinated with the taxi driver to ensure a smooth transfer, though they are unable to drop you off right outside the riad due to narrow roads but there is parking located just a 2 minute walk away, making it easily accessible.

Upon our arrival, Abdel warmly welcomed us with traditional mint tea and provided us with everything we needed to know about the busy city. He assisted us in planning our days and offered good recommendations. Our luggage’s were kindly taken up by Abdel to a nice and clean room just like the photos we had seen online. Next morning the breakfast was deliciously prepared by a lovely lady called Maryem ☺️ On our last day, Moussa booked us a taxi and took us to the car and even offered to come to the airport for any help. Overall, we felt safe and well accommodated thanks to Abdel and Moussa. We are looking forward to returning to this Riad in the future.

Riad is pretty new with some nice and interesting details. Clean and cosy, close to main square. The staff is higly professional, the best receptionist ever - Abdel, really kidn and helpful and also Moussa. I definitely recommend this property.

All great, no complaints. Maybe a breakfast could be bigger, but just a small suggestion, not a complaint, it was good anyway.

First of it, the stuff are amazing two guys on the top of my list Abderazak and Moussa are amazing Guys they made sure that everything is perfect and they were there whenever you need them, the service is outstanding.

I had a 6 night stay, it was one of my best stays. A big thank you to Mr. Moussa who was present for each consultation and assistance before and during my stay, also Mr. Abdelrazzak and Mrs. Meriem who were very helpful and attentive. The Riad and the room were very beautiful and clean.

We stayed in the riad for 4 days and everything was beyond expectations. The room and bathroom were very well looked after, with daily cleaning and towel changes. The interior of the riad is very welcoming and you immediately feel at home, as later reiterated by Moussa, the best host you could even hope for! He welcomed us kindly, gave us valuable advice, was thoughtful in retrieving a medicine without request, calling a taxi and much more. We also strongly recommend trying to eat in the riad, as he has prepared some excellent traditional dishes! Last note, there is always someone at night in case of need. A special thank you also to Abdel who was always present and available.

It was a very nice surprise to stay in Riad Chez Heriette. My room was amazing ,much nicer than on the photos,super clean an comfortable . Mousa Abdel and the lady in the kitchen are the BEST ,They treated me so well I felt I was part of the family . From now on this is my favourite Riad . I will for sure come back. Newly renovated property. Very clean and beautiful. Lovely and Friendly staff. Spacious bathroom. Chic and nice decor. Basic but Lovely breakfast and served with lot of heart and warmth.

Difficult to find the property on Google maps the first day as the address is not accurately shown on the map and can get confusing to reach. But once you are there from the next day it is simple to find your way in the medina maze.

Amazing experience and hospitality from Abdel and Moussa! They were so cordial and helpful with everything! The Riad was wonderful! Nice breakfast, clean rooms, beautiful decoration! Very central location in the city!
