Останавливалась здесь на неделю. Комната очень чистая, есть вентилятор, кондиционер, чайник. Уютная терраса, завтрак был включен, что очень удобно)) Есть парковка. Мне помогали в любых возникших вопросах и сложностях. Подсказали где арендовать байк, вызвали мне рикшу. Хозяева были очень добры и приветливы. Спасибо им огромное за отдых

Excellent experience

No mirrors inside the room

This is a hidden gem. We arrived much earlier than expected. Sajit welcomed us with drinks and prepared the room immediately at no extra cost and was very accommodating. The room was simple, but spacious, clean, 2 fans and good AC. Comfortable bed. The shower was cool but that didn't bother us. Bathroom very clean. 5 min walk to a bit of beach with no one on it! No amenities as it is tucked away. Sea a little choppy but OK for a dip. Marari beach is 4km down the road so very easy to access. Sajit brought us tea and biscuits in the afternoon which was a lovely surprise. Dinner at Boban was incredibly affordable but you must say the number of each dish you want (2x curry for 2 people). It's delivered to outside your room. Included breakfast had plenty of food and was tasty. Sajit or someone else is on hand via message/WhatsApp and responds quickly. Strong WiFi. Incredible value for the whole stay. Can't recommend enough.

The Ambience was super good. Good food, friendly host and the family. The villa was near the private beach. Just a walkable distance. Neat and clean space.

My fiancé and I recently went on a 3-day trip to Kumarakom and Marari, and we stayed at Marari Boban's Villa. Our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the hospitality we received made it feel like a home away from home. We checked in late at night around 10:45 PM, yet Mr. Sajith Boban, the host, welcomed us with a warm smile and a refreshing glass of juice. From that very moment until the time we departed—with his kind wishes for a safe journey—he made sure we felt cared for and comfortable. He is truly the reason our stay became so memorable. Mr. Sajith is incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming. His kind attitude and attention to detail stood out throughout our stay. We had originally planned to stay in Kottayam for just two days and then head to Cochin, but after experiencing such genuine hospitality, we cancelled our Cochin plans and extended our stay by another day at Boban’s Villa. The breakfast served every morning was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. The room we stayed in was simple yet aesthetically designed, offering both comfort and charm. The most unforgettable part of the trip was a surprise birthday celebration planned just for me. I had no idea what was coming! With Mr. Sajith’s incredible support, my fiancé and friends were able to organize everything in secret. We had a beautiful, private spot at the property for the celebration, and Sajith kindly guided them with the decorations and arrangements. It was truly magical and touched my heart deeply. If you choose Boban’s Villa, be prepared to forget the word "No". Sajith goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable. This is, without a doubt, one of the most recommended stays we’ve ever had.

Review: I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse! The owners are incredibly hospitable and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to help with anything I needed and gave great recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh and tasty options every morning. Another highlight is the location – just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful and clean beach. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My friends and I thought to spend some quiet days at the conclusion of our trip in India and we could not find a better place than Marari Bobans villa! Sanjit and his family were exceptionally nice to guarantee a comfortable stay in their guesthouse. The rooms have AC and are clean. They cooked for us lunch and dinner and the food was very tasty and freshly made. There is a small hidden beach at 5 minutes walking from the guesthouse where you can relax. I recommend to follow the backwater tour organized by Sanjit in Kumarakom. He planned a no-touristic visit of local activities during the tour. I think it is a good place for who likes nature and local homestays.

I had an amazing stay at Boban's villa that exceeded all my expectations. I felt welcomed immediately. First of all, the accommodation and garden are beautiful and there are many lovely details that make it really cozy. Its modernly furnished and really very clean. The home-cooked meals are also so delicious. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. But what really made this stay so special for me was the incredible hospitality of the host and his family. Sajith, the host, organized such special trips, for example a boat trip at sunrise or a visit to a local festival, which were outstanding experiences for me and gave me an authentic insight into life here. He took care of everything so that I had the best time in Kerala and helped me with every problem or question in a very pleasant and helpful way. I couldn't have wished for anything more. Especially as a woman traveling alone, I would like to emphasize that I felt very safe. Without any doubt, I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this homestay. I am truly sad to leave this place that felt like home for a few days, and I am also deeply grateful for my stay there and for meeting such good-hearted people. Thank you for everything.

It was perfect! Sajith is always there for you. He helped me a lot with everything and made it so much simpler as a solo traveler. He borrowed me his bicycle, took me to places. He made the stay just amazing! He was always there if I had any questions. You have a beautiful empty beach just nearby as well. The location is a bit outside, calm, makes it harder to get some food but all the restaurants in this area are made for take outs and not to stay in. I would have stayed even longer but already had some plans afterwards. Sajith, thank you 🙏🏽

I stayed here during the last week of December 2024. The property is well maintained, neat and hygienic The ambience is too good and excellent hospitality from the host. Homely food is served here. It is located nearest to Marari beach. The price is very reasonable. My one day stay at the property was really a memorable one.

Good place to spend time with family in peace. Food served for breakfast as complimentary was amazing. The homestay owners are very friendly and gentle. I love this place.

Exceptional Hospitality, Incredibly Neat and Clean Rooms, Affordable Price , Very near to Private Beach, Delicious Food, Nice Ambience, Homely feel

Everything, peaceful, beautiful and clean

Quiet location, clean, organised and professional. Well furnished a/c rooms (small room has no a/c - soon to be a/c -but fan met our rqrnnt),cosy and clean water from the taps. 2 Reclining chairs in the balcony, 2 relaxing chairs in a separate area for more privacy - with a drink to sip - and a terrace modified into a dining space, neatly laid out. The best was personal care and readiness to be of service and a sincere comm style from Sajish, the caretaker. Morning tea and bfast was superb. Outstanding features : 2 min walk to a mini beach, calm, serene and serene atmosphere, away from the bustling town, to unwind.

Distance from Alleppey but thats the price to pay for an undisturbed feeling.

Sajith and his family are exceptional hosts and lovely people. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are squeaky clean and very newly appointed. Some small additions, like a kettle and some more comfortable seating in the communal lounge and we would have moved in full time.

Homestay is just as described, it's perfectly located to chill and a rickshaw can take u anywhere with in 15min. Most importantly Sajith is an amazing host, he will assist with any doubt or concern you might have to ensure your stay is superb.

One of the best stay, and the price is very reasonable. The property is maintained by the owners itself as it's a homestay. The people are very respectful, polite and respectful. Mr.Sajith is really good and he can help you with any concerns. told him about the prawns he got the fresh prawns and prepared at home, that was really nice. Coming to rooms, really nice and tidy, well maintained. Good sitout arrangements for any occasions and for food dining. Place is ambinet, close to beach. The beach there is really good as if it's like private beach, sand is clean. Overall highly recommended stay if you are around Kochi or Alappuzha.

Absolutely the sweetest stay ever! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from cozy blankets to delicious homemade treats that made us feel spoiled. The service? Impeccable! They anticipated our every need before we even realized we had them. Plus, the ambiance was so warm and inviting, it was like living inside a postcard. We spent 4 nights at Marari Bobans Villa and enjoyed our stay. This is an amazing find. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. Sajith and his family were welcoming. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Villa the meals were incredible. The area is not touristy so the beach which is 5 minuets stroll away is unspoilt. Small shop in front of the villa to buy water and drinks. Marari beach is a short drive, this is ideal if you want more on your beach (toilets, cafe, places to eat) Sajith is so helpful and arranged our airport pick up etc. great place to switch off and relax!! We highly recommended

Good tasty food and peace atmosphere

The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of you and your staff from the planing stage till the end of our retreat.

The beach is a 5 minute walk away. It's an emerald tree lined beach. It's in a small village with mainly fishermen and their families who are humble and kind. Your first glimpse of the beach is stunning. It's a Gem, a Haven with cornflower blue painted fishing boats and nearly white sands. The sunrise and sunsets are magnificent, they will inspire you. Everything from using an auto rickshaw, buying water, food or hiring scooters are very cheap. The room is basic but clean My review is mainly about the family at Marari Bobbins. The rooms are clean and all your needs are met immediately. This family showed me Kerala to the fullest. They took me to the most amazing places. I rode elephants and visited the famous Snake Temple which is over a thousand years old and a long way from my homestead. Sajith spent whole days taking me on tours of temples, famous old churches, rice fields and many other sights. His sister Soumya took me to the famous Kochi market which will take you hours to discover. It is so big and colourful. Not to be missed. They treated me like part of the family and invited me to church every Sunday . They did all this for free, asking nothing in return only asking for petrol money etc. They brought me delicious Kerala dishes 3 times a day. ( My bill was very cheap) And mama made me delicious masala chai all day. I was a lone traveller and didn't plan my journey very well for my long 1 month stay there. I got into financial difficulties with my bank card and Sajith gave me money until it was resolved. These people are so kind. When l needed to go home Sajith drove me to Cochin my airport town and arranged for a wonderful new homestead to stay in till l got my flight. Thank you Marari Bobbins for the best holiday I have ever had and for showing me such kindness. I will be returning next year.

Very nice, clean room and great bathroom, close to the beach, the owners are a cute family which is very caring. I had nice breakfast and fantastic dinner. Definitely would come back.

The location - but it depends. If you want quiet place than it’s perfect. But there’s not much to do. Perfect for some quiet times tho.
