Super Host

Praneeth ist ein außergewöhnlich fürsorglicher und freundlicher Host. Er war zu jeder Zeit für uns erreichbar und hat uns bei jeder Nachfrage und Organisatorischem direkt geholfen. Die Unterkunft selbst befindet sich in Peradeniya, einem kleinen Ort neben Kandy (den wir persönlich als schöner und ruhiger als die Großstadt empfanden). Mit dem Tuktuk oder Roller kommt man gut nach Kandy. Die Unterkunft selbst ist groß und gemütlich, war sehr sauber und umfassend ausgestattet (z.B. mit einem Mückennetz über dem Bett). Das Frühstück war phänomenal und das beste, das wir während unserer Sri Lanka-Reise hatten. Wir können diese Unterkunft daher sehr empfehlen :-)

We waren hier maar 1 dag, toch deed Praneeth er alles aan om ons te helpen, van treinkaartjes tot taxi ritjes. Hij wilde ons overal bij helpen. We hebben ons enorm welkom gevoeld.

We stayed only one night but wish we’d stayed longer! A generous and attentive host, who put on a beautiful breakfast. Picked us up from the train, over an hour away and even contacted the railway station to book our travel the next day to ensure we could depart on time!

Die Villa bietet genug Platz, alles ist sehr modern und komfortabel (tolles Bett!). Es gibt eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und sogar einen Haarföhn. Die Familie ist total lieb. Wir haben jeden Tag ein tolles, riesiges Frühstück bekommen und unser Gastgeber hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Er hat uns mehrmals ins Stadtzentrum gebracht und uns verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt bzw. organisiert. Wirklich großartig!

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Villa. The location is absolutely stunning—nestled among surrounding mountains, it offers a peaceful and scenic atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I really appreciated their shuttle service from the main road to the villa—it was very convenient and made everything easy. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and that warm hospitality stayed with us throughout the stay. It truly brought me peace of mind. I would love to stay here again, and if I visit Sri Lanka in the future, I will definitely return to Villa Sanseya

A truly peaceful and scenic escape! This beautiful hotel sits atop a mountain, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The place is spotless, cozy, and the hospitality is top-notch. They even provided us with a convenient shuttle service from Peradeniya, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. As the saying goes, ‘the best views come after the hardest climbs’ — and here, the reward is absolute bliss. A perfect hideaway to relax and recharge

We were granted Premium service in this accommodation - superb local guide, great Sri Lankan breakfast like in 3 star hotel, also lovely Ceylon tea with milk/fruit drinks for kids during day after our arrival from sightseeing. Owner is a person, who walks that extra mile to make sure, that quests are happy and have everything they need. Splendid job! Took outstanding care of us - speaks fluent English, he is caring and nice person to talk to. We had two kids with us - accommodation is family friendly, with really comfortable bed and sofa. Also from window you can watch chipmunks, gecons and eagles during day. Whole place was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with amenities provided. Owner provided us with transport from train to accommodation and offered to drive us to local restaurants and trips free of charge with his SUV - that was really nice of him and save us lot of hustle with local tuk tuk drivers. Our last day, he took us to train station and helped with bags, really great guy! He helped us with train ticket reservation and booking and gave us all info we needed. Accommodation is quite enjoyable, far from busy streets of Kandy - you will find shop just under hill to buy food and water, train station close by. Everything is sorted out on WhatsApp app - don't hesitate to contact Praneeth if you need anything. Breakfast was outstanding - 5 different types of fruit, pancakes, deserts, muffins and sweats, Ceylon tea + coffee, Fruit drinks from fresh papaya. I would highly recommend Sri Lankan option as it was really delicious with local taste. One of the best breakfast in our 3 weeks at Sri Lanka. We had really nice time and we would come back if we visit Sri Lanka again.

Nothing I dislike, everything was splendid.

This is the best place we stayed during this Sri Lanka trip, landlord Praneeth picked us up from Kandy lake view point, helped us plan for the next visiting point, provided me very valuable information and kept from going to wrong location. The breakfast was amazing and we had no need for lunch since we were too full in the morning. Landlord allowed us stay until 5 pm since we will take the 5:30 pm train and the next guest happened to arrive late that day, many thanks to the great convenience, if we come back next year, this will be our first choice without doubts!!!!!!

One of the best places to stay in Kandy! This was a cute, little apartment that we were in absolute love with the moment we stepped in. It was absolutely spick and span and smelled nice. The owner, Praneeth and his family have taken care of every little detail. The view from the balcony was stunning and calming! For a vegetarian like us, the breakfast was fairly great as well. Will come back again for sure for a longer stay.

The approach to the house is a little too steep. We were a little scared the first time our driver tried taking the car up. But nothing serious.

The standard of the place was exceptional. Clean modern and classy. Had one night here and didn’t want to leave. Had a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bed was huge and comfortable. Aircon was great and quiet. The location is perfect for getting the train to Ella (just a 15 minute walk or 2 Minute drive to Perideniya station). On Google maps it looks like the villa is on the main road but it’s set right back up high so you don’t hear it. People have mentioned the road up to the villa being bad but I thought it was fine just a 1 minute walk from the main road. Had a silent night sleep. I was looked after very well by the host. He picked me up from Kandy and dropped me off at the station. Was even making sure I was well fed and looked after. The breakfast was huge and he even provided take away cartons for snacks on the train. Plenty of towels provided , lovely little kitchen and lounge area. Bathroom spotlessly clean. You’ve got it all right ☺️

Absolutely nothing

The accommodation had a great view to nature and the appartment was beautiful, comfortable and well decorated! The hosts received us with welcome drinks and snacks and brought us a delicious breakfast to the room it the next day. Even though to get there is a 150m steep climb, they offered to pick us up from the main road. Definitely recommend staying at Villa Sanseya for a stay in Kandy

We had a memorable stay here, the location is excellent, with close proximity to the main attraction of the region. the value for money is great, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. we only wish that we could have stayed longer.

It’s a wonderful place, just what we expected. It’s very clean and quiet, away from the hustle of the city. They recommended and took us to a place called Ambuluwawa, which is truly beautiful and offers amazing views. We can highly recommend this place.

This small villa was perfect for our family with a one year old. The cozy oneroom layout, living area, small kitchen, and bathroom were just right for our needs. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The value for money is fantastic, ideal for a peaceful, budget friendly family getaway. Highly recommend!
