Das Bad war nicht hygienisch. Es wurde sauber gemacht indem man einmal Wasser über das komplette Bad laufen lässt & Ameisen ohne Ende

De vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van het personeel. De 24-uurs receptie. De grootte van de kamer.

De bovenbuurman was ergens niet blij mee en dit heeft hij niet gecommuniceerd in een dialoog maar in een monoloog. Terwijl het personeel als wij perplex stonden. Maar bovenbuurman bleef maar doorgaan .........

There were tens of mosquitoes. We wanted to change room but the only thing they said to us was that there is some device and all of them will die within an hour. Guess what. We were killing the mosquitoes for at least two hours and still got bitten in the night. The staff wasn’t helpful about it at all.

El chico de recepcion me reservó un tuktuk para la mañana siguiente al tren (porque llovia muchisimo) y el tuktuk jamas apareció. Casi pierdo el tren y llegue totalmente empapada. No habia mosquitera

Positief verrast door ons verblijf hier. We hadden de familiekamer, die ontzettend ruim was met een terras buiten. Er is een keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken en de badkamer is simpel, maar met warm water. Ruime bedden, voldoende ruimte voor al je spullen. Perfecte plek voor een nachtje, dichtbij het station van Peradeniya.

Air conditioneer was good but not the best

A lot of insects - ants/ mosquito etc, we get the worst room from whole „empty” hotel even if we choose room with view and wifi, there was no view, wifi doesnt work, there was poor connection all the time

Alles in allem recht ordentlich, aber es könnte an manchen Stellen sauberer sein, wirkt etwas lieblos.

Mi dispiace dare questa recensione ma è anche giusto dire la verità, anche per non prendere in giro hotel che veramente meritano. Arrivati in reception troviamo un ragazzino (ovvio non è colpa sua) che non parla neanche una parola di Inglese e per qualsiasi informazione chiamava qualcuno al cellulare, ma questo è il minimo. Stanza puzzolente e umida da star male, cuscini bagnati di umidità (vi lascio immaginare l’odore) , polvere ovunque,zanzare e stanza piena di formiche. Carta igienica finita, senza un rotolo di scorta, andiamo a chiedere al ragazzo in reception e ne prende uno da un’altra stanza già a metà quindi utilizzata. Si e no abbiamo chiuso occhio due ore, pessimo.

Wat een super verblijf! We werden enorm vriendelijk geholpen en konden ook heerlijk ontbijten bij de accommodatie!

Walking distance to the town. 🙌 It was a decent place to stay—nothing exceptional, but it served its purpose.

Regular inspections of the room facilities are essential in a place like this. Unfortunately, the hot water shower was not working due to an issue with ants.🤧

The price was very good

There were lots of ants in the toilet, the bathroom was dirty and the wall had weird spots on it. The included breakfast was a rice block, onions and bananas, nothing else.

A 15 min walk to/from Peradeniya train station making easy access to Ella train. Rooms were larger than many in Sri Lanka and had the benefit of a balcony.

Lock on bedroom entrance did not work. Payment at check out required the staff to run to bank at main road to make change even for a small currency bill putting us at risk of missing train. Evening meal was disappointing, it was served on unfinished wood table that could not be wiped clean and had many stains from previous meals, chairs could also not be cleaned of the dust.

We were glad to stay in Stellar Inn in Peradeniya instead of Kandy. (Kandy is only 7 km away) Peradeniya is not touristy at all and we actually like it that way better. We got to experience a more authentic Sri Lankan town. The hotel is new, modern and very clean. The room size is large. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the AC works great. There is a kettle, cups, tea and coffee and water in the room. The Royal Botanical Garden is within walking distance and we thouroughly enjoyed it! Initially we planned on staying here 1 night but because we liked it so much we stayed 2 nights. The staff and manager were very helpful and accomodated our special requests. After we left the hotel and were well on our way to another town, the manager called, informing us that we forgot our Apple tablet in the room! He then promptly worked on having it sent to us via a reputable courier Domex. We received the tablet the following morning! The courier cost was only 1000 LKR. Thank you from our grateful hearts, Stellar Inn!

The property was in a good location.

The room was too small. Compared to other properties, it did not provide value for my money. Additionally, the room and the washroom were not clean. Even the air conditioners hadn’t been cleaned in decades. There were also many ants in the room.

Breakfast was poor. They served coffee for our 5 and 8 years old sons.

The location was easy to find and it was really quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and the facilities were worth the price. Very relaxing environment. No complaints at all ❤️

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Owner is very friendly. Gave us information on places to go and how to arrive. Also arranged tuk tuk for us. Facilities in this accomodation are great which also includes parking and location is perfect to be at the centre of everything. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you.

The stay was great and everything was there up to an expected level. Meanwhile, the room service was quick and if you are thinking of a place to stay in Peradeniya, it is the ideal place for a stay. The breakfast was so yummy and the food was presented well. We ordered String hoppers, Dhal curry and Pol sambal for the breakfast and it was very tasty. They also brought the food on time as we had a tight schedule in the morning

I recently stayed at Stellar Inn and was highly impressed. The room was impeccably clean, creating a calm and relaxing environment. Despite being so close to everything, the atmosphere was wonderfully serene throughout my visit. I especially appreciated the tidy kitchen facilities, which were well-maintained and perfect for my needs. Additionally, the room service was discreet and respectful of privacy, which I found very considerate. Moreover, the 24-hour availability of the receptionist for check-in and check-out was incredibly convenient, allowing flexibility with my schedule. Overall, I highly recommend Stellar Inn for anyone looking for a peaceful yet centrally located stay with excellent amenities and outstanding service.

While my stay at Stellar Inn was overall pleasant, there were a couple of issues that detracted from the experience. Firstly, the curtains in our room (No. 3) were somewhat transparent, particularly problematic since we were on the ground floor. This transparency made us feel uncomfortable, especially because the edges of the curtains did not fully cover the windows, leaving parts of the room visible from outside at certain angles. Additionally, we encountered problems with the heater during our stay. Specifically, the heater tripped off twice while we were taking baths, which was quite inconvenient and disrupted our comfort. Despite these issues, the rest of our stay was enjoyable, with the hotel's convenient location, serene atmosphere, friendly staff, tidy kitchen facilities, and accommodating 24-hour check-in/check-out service contributing positively to our experience.
