Chaweng Buri Resort

Nonostante la struttura avrebbe bisogno di una bella rinfrescata, il soggiorno è stato eccellente. Le camere sono ampie, pulite, silenziose e dotate di un'aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante. Molto comode anche le prese di corrente situate proprio vicino al letto e impeccabile la vasca idromassaggio in camera. Gli spazi comunali non sono da meno: la piscina dell'hotel è molto grande e include un piacevole angolo idromassaggio. La spiaggia è splendida, con mare pulito e dal fondale basso, incorniciata da una scelta infinita di bar e ristoranti sul bagnasciuga. Il vero punto di forza è però la posizione: il resort si trova esattamente di fronte al Central Samui, comodissimo per la presenza sia di un supermercato che di una fantastica food court, ideale per mangiare benissimo, al fresco dell'aria condizionata e spendendo pochissimo. Colazione fantastica si poteva scegliere tra pancakes con frutta, bowl di yogurt con granola e frutta e vari tipi di uova accompagnati da bacon, riso ecc… tutto buonissimo e impeccabile come lo staff che lavora all’interno del resort.

La struttura ha bisogno di essere ristrutturata poiché è un po datata e lasciata andare anche la vegetazione avrebbe bisogno di un bell’intervento di potatura

Ich hatte das Hotel vor 20 Jahren schon mal gebucht und leider hat sich nicht viel geändert. Das Restaurant in Kombination mit der Poolbar war sehr einfach aufgestellt. Zum Glück gibt es um Umfeld genügend Möglichkeiten zum Mittag essen. Abendessen wurde gar nicht angeboten.

Schönes Resort, toller Pool am Meer gelegen. Frühstück war gut. Mal a la carte, mal Buffet je nach Belegung. Zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Personal freundlich und immer bemüht.

Waren drei Personen im Bungalow, leider immer wieder nur für zwei Personen bestückt( Handtücher, Wasser). Bei Nachfragen aber immer sofort gehandelt. Manche Sachen könnten erneuert werden. Leider Getränke und Speisen im Hotel verhältnismäßig teuer.

Great location and great staff at resturant and pool

The location is on the best sand beach in Koh Samui. Couldn't get a better spot if you tried. The resort was perfectly located for both beach and street restaurants and bars. The cleaners did an excellent job of our room, very happy with our cleaner.

Not worth paying the difference for a Beach Front Bungalow, as there are about 10 Bungalows classed as Beach View, with realistically only 4 with actual Beach Views. The rest have beach glimpses through tree's or the local gym. The bar staff need training on how to treat customers correctly. Walking up to the bar and finding all 5 on their mobile phones and no-one paying attention or actually serving, is not service. Rubbish all around the pool deck chair tables and Bar Restaurant tables and all staff on their phones or chatting , is not service. Staff blasting out their favourite music on their Jukebox and no-one around the pool being able to hear each other, is not service. All need major attention from a supervisor.

Ottima struttura, situato in un tratto di spiaggia molto bello. Resort molto tranquillo e silenzioso, proprio ciò che cercavamo.

La colazione per noi occidentali era molto scarsa, ma siamo sopravvissuti comunque. Pochi lettini in spiaggia.

Die Anlage ist super gelegen. Direkt an der Chaweng Road und dennoch sehr ruhig. Top ! Extrem freundliches Hilfspersonal. Wir würden wieder das Hotel buchen.

Leider etwas wenig Liegen am Strand. Und auch hier immer viele Reservationen. Oftmals sogar war es so, dass um 9h bereits alles reserviert oder belegt war. Das löste etwas Stress aus....das habe ich negativ empfunden.

big problem with housekeeping. very very poor. in 19 days no real cleaning , no disinfection of sink sanitary or floor, just very quick . toilet problem every day and no real solution. the hotel policy needs to be changed. not very good breakfast , one toasted half broken for entire room. eggs one person and long time waiting.

The location is fantastic, right on beautiful Chaweng Beach. We loved the warm sea, relaxing on the beach, and taking long walks along the shore. Restaurants, night markets, and everything we needed were within easy reach. A wonderful place to enjoy Koh Samui.

The bar staff around the pool and beach. Shared my feedback with the staff but no one seemed to care to improve. The value for money is poor. If they don’t improve this I think they will run out of business for the long term.

C’est mon 7eme séjour à Koh Samui, tous de 22 /25 nuitées, c’est l’hôtel le plus mauvais. Hôtel pas accueillant, extérieur pas propre, restaurant service minimum. Bar piscine à fuir. Le personnel n’est pas compétent. La femme de ménage on n’en parle pas, tous les jours elle oublie quelque chose. ( manque 1 serviette, manque les bouteilles d’eau, manque les cafés, oublie de fermer la chambre à clef …. Etc…. Etc !!). Très déçu dans l’ensemble. Il y a beaucoup mieux sur l’île pour le même prix

Essendo su un’isola ci si deve adattare. È venduto come un tre stelle e questo è. Però il contesto complessivo fà del Buri Resot un ottimo compromesso.

The resort is right in the center of Chaweng, but once you are in you are out of it : silence , Green , shade . The Beach in front of the resort is one the most beautiful , perfect sea . Really good breakfast and very clean If you want to excercise there is a wooden gym on the Beach . Really cool !!! Enjoyed it a lot , woykd have stayed longer

Children really like the swimming pool. The staff is always friendly (though not very reliable).

Everything could be better. At an appropriate price tag everything is acceptable. But nothing barely justifies the price we paid. Furniture falling apart, not as clean as I'd expect (for the price)... You also do not really feel welcome in chaweng Buri. For example where other places offer you a welcome drink at your check-in the first thing they show you in Chaweng Buri is a policy sheet and prices you'd pay in case you are not following the rules (after checkin you get a coupon for a welcome drink). The same applies to the booklet found in the bungalows.1. page is a list of prices of property items such as towels and so on. Just reorder your processes and you'll gain a lot in reputation! In walking distance you get better stays which make you feel welcome for half the price. I'd be available for a giving a more detailed feedback if required.

Die Lage ist super. Mitten in Chaweng am Samui Center. Man benötigt kein Taxi um abends wieder zum Hotel zurück zu kommen.

Alles war top. Man könnte höchstens anmerken, dass das Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat und seinen eigenen Charm hat.

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location (on the beach where sea is great, just in from of mall Central Samui, on the main road with all kind of shops and restaurants). Rooms are spacious and quite clean in a traditional Thai style (not very new but quite good). Facilities are good (some green areas could be better maintained..but not a real issue) and a fantastic gym right on the beach.

היינו 3 שבועות...בהתחלה חדר האוכל היה מתחת לכל ביקורת, לא היה מבחר, לא כלים ולא מכונת קפה, הודענו בקבלה שזה לא מכובד ולא תואם את מה שרשום בבוקינג ואז חל מהפך והביאו אחראית ששידרגה את חדר האוכל הן מבחינת האוכל, הכמות, הכלים, מכונת קפה, לעיתים היו גם נפילות חשמל והפסקות מים למס' דקות, נראה שהמקום עבר שיפוץ / שידרוג בתקופה האחרונה.

The location was perfect, close to the airport, right in the heart of Chaweng and right on the beautiful beach. The villas were lovely, a little old but great size, comfortable beds and spotless. I loved the traditional vibe of the villas. The wooden gym on the beach was such a treat as well, with the ice bath, and they are adding a sauna and steam room which will be amazing.

Super freundlich, praktisch mit Kindern, weil alles sehr Nahe ist (Strand, Pool, Restaurant, Massage, Bar), der Strand flach, eine tolle Schaukel, gratis Parkplätze, viele frische Früchte, Thai Speisen und Eierstation zum Frühstück. Wir konnten spontan vor Ort auf ein größeres Zimmer wechseln, das mit 2 Kindern besser geeignet war. Einen privaten Pool hätten wir normalerweise Sicht gebucht, hat sich aber mit 2 kleineren Kindern doch als praktische Bespaßung zwischendurch erwiesen.

Der Boden und die Ecken im Zimmer werden wurden nicht ganz so gründlich gereinigt.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, ganz tolle Häuschen mit gemütlicher Terasse. Die Lage ist unserer Meinung die beste vom gesamten Chaweng Beach, der Strand ist top, die Anlage wunder wunderschön. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns auch andere Hotels angeschaut und waren uns einig, mit diesem Hotel die absolut beste Wahl getroffen zu haben

Die Anlage ist (wie auch viele vor mir schon geschrieben) etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt teilweise etwas ungepflegt. Es könnten ein paar Restaurierungen gemacht werden, zum Beispiel die Pool-Bar. So eine tolle Bar in bester Lage, aber leider so heruntergekommen. Hier könnte man ein richtiges Schmuckstück draus machen. Insgesamt fanden wir die Anlage aber dennoch traumhaft.

At jeg måtte vente på utsjekkingen fordi de skulle sjekke rommet før jeg dro. Hva er det for noe tull, stoler de ikke på gjestene sine og har de ikke kortinformasjon hvis det skulle være noe, dette er forkastelig oppførsel.

Struttura carina, dotata di bella veranda sul giardino tropicale. Posizione ottima, spiaggia e colazione inclusi, bottigliette d’acqua e teli mare gratuiti e giornalieri.

Sono stata in diverse strutture della zona e spiace constatare che il resort necessita di manutenzione seria. (Il contorno della vasca da bagno sembra rifinito da un bambino, i vialetti hanno molte piastrelle danneggiate. La camera è estremamente buia, manca di luci fredde adeguate. Il condizionatore fa un rumore così forte da rendere difficile il riposo. Consiglierei di installare le zanzariere alle finestre. Nella zona colazione è visibile un grande bungalow dove risiede (forse) il proprietario e presso il quale e’ visibile veramente parecchio caos. Sarebbe opportuno inserire una siepe o piante frangi vista in modo da rendere armoniosa la struttura che merita maggiore attenzione perché ha molti lati positivi.

All’inizio si e’ spiazzati dalla struttura, non proprio nuova, non tenuta benissima, non pulitissimi gli esterni e il bagno un po’ vetusto ma poco a poco capisci che sei in una delle posizioni migliori di Chaweng, il resort e’ molto silenzioso, l’aria condizionata funziona bene, buona piscina e bella spiaggia con sdraie sotto l’ombra di alberi bellissimi ! Buona la colazione comunque principalmente salata !

Bungalow col signore vicino alla piscina, non si capisce il suo ruolo dato che fuma e basta , sara’ il proprietario ? La pressione della doccia terribile, il giardino andrebbe tenuto meglio! Il mare non e’ la Sardegna ma forse sara’ la stagione….

Good location, didn't use the breakfast facility - food didn't appeal to us. Beach front was lovely, not many people staying at the resort might have compromised the options at the resort

The resort is looking a bit tired and needs a freshen up. Repairs going on a various places around the resort. Restaurant not open in the evenings, possibly due to low occupancy rate? Generally the place needs to be updated.

Location near Central Samui

The entire place feels unloved and little rundown. Booked a two bedroom villa. It was not a two bedroom villa it was two separate villas that are not connected which is far from ideal when with children. One of the villas was old and had gaps all around doors and open window access in bathroom. As a result there were always ants and mosquitos coming in (we had no food indoors)-and yes we did use the plug in mosquito device. The breakfast was poor 2 of the 3 moorings with little selection and very little amounts left out despite there being more than a hour left of service. There were ants on serving spoons for Thai breakfast also. No cold milk available as it was left out of fridge too long. Only one very slow coffee machine available. Airport transfer not included like a lot of other places-charge 400baht. Overall we paid a LOT for 2 bedroom villa for last few nights of holiday and it was definitely not worth it.

The beach is nice and the gym is fully equipped! But there are better hotels in the direct neighborhood.

NO HOT WATER: We stayed here for our entire trip of 4 days. There was absolutely no hot water for the duration of our stay. We had bout 1 minute lukewarm water and then taking cold showers every single time is not what you pay for. LAZY & LYING MANAGEMENT: Every day we complained about the water. And every single day management claimed they "looked into it" or were "sending a mechanic" This was a blatant lie. We never saw a single technician, plumber or staffmember actually working on the problem. Nothing has changed. PETTY MONEY GRABBING: The moment a single glass accidentally broke, they immediately slapped us with a 100 BAHT charge. They care more about squeezing every last cent out of you for an inexpensive glass than fixing their broken building. Nor do they care about our 3-yr old son that could have stepped in the glass that was laying around the room after asking for a broom. Just after asking 3 times there was someone to come sweep the little glass splinters from the floor. Due to all this discomfort, we decided to leave one day earlier. Once again, no compensation was offered. Given the circumstances described above, it would be reasonable to expect some goodwill or flexibility in handling this situation.

We had a very pleasant stay at Chaweng Buri Resort. The hotel has a great beachfront location and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and cleaned regularly. The breakfast was good with enough variety to choose from. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

Location is excellent, close to Central Samui and the main beach road restaurants and shops. The other end of the resort faces beautiful Chaweng, at one of the nicest parts of it. There is huge tree providing much needed shade on the beach. Service provided by Chris was memorable and always helpful.

During our stay the power went off for one whole day almost, which meant no air conditioning (fan only, no condenser) but this was due to scheduled power maintenance on the whole island. A couple of times water didn't work. It would have been good to get some pre-warning about these issues

Хороший средний отель. Большая тихая зелёная территория с прекрасным расположением в городе и на пляже. Отличный бассейн, бар. Лежаки есть под деревьями и на солнце с зонтиками, на выбор. Удобный большой номер с террасой, в котором есть всё, даже одноразовая бритва. Для меня завтраки были достаточными и вкусными с фруктами, йогуртом и беконом. Быстрый интернет. Приветливый и отзывчивый на все просьбы персонал. Приеду ещё, если будет возможность.

В ванной комнате вода была тёплая, не горячая. Если соседи любят хлопать дверью в ванной, то это хорошо слышно.

Tolle ruhige Lage inmitten des Trubel der Chaweng Beach. Die Anlage ist schon etwas älter, aber genau dieser klassische Thai Bungalow Stil gefällt mir sehr. Leckeres Morgenessen mit viel Auswahl vorhanden.

Nichts

Das Frühstück war ok, nicht außergewöhnlich aber jeder ist satt geworden, es gab eine Eierstation, eine kleine Auswahl an Obst, warme Gericht, etwas Aufschnitt, es war völlig ok. Die Lage ist TOP. Direkt am wunderschönen Strand, hin und wieder entdeckten wir Müll am Strand wie z.B. Plastikflaschen, Zahnbürste usw. Das war nicht so schön. Kommt bestimmt von den Touris selbst, könnte man aber im Rahmen von Aufräumarbeiten vielleicht einsammeln. Auf der anderen Seite ist die beliebte Chaweng Road, da findet man alles, Restaurants, kleine Märkte, Souvenirläden, Massagesalons usw. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön, viele Palmen, Pflanzen usw. Die Geräuschkulisse am Abend ist herrlich - die zirpenden Zikaden sind mega laut aber auch nicht wegzudenken. Die Bungalows sind ein Traum, schon etwas älter aber absolut sauber und im schönen thailändischen Still. Der neue Fitnessbereich am Strand ist toll geworden, alles aus Holz, es wertet die Anlage etwas auf. Die Massagen am Strand sind auch toll, können wir wärmstens empfehlen und der Preis dafür ist top! Unbedingt hingehen!

Die Ausgabe der Strandtücher ist weniger schön und nicht ansprechend, Strandtücher selbst sind gruselig, richtig abgewältzt und alt, mit Löchern und Flecken. Da könnte das Management neue Strandtücher anschaffen, es sollte nicht die Welt kosten und für den bezahlten Preis kann man es erwarten. Das Häuschen mit dem Einkaufswagen, wo die Strantücher ausgegeben werden ist ein schreckliches Bild für die so schöne Anlage. Etwas Ordnung dadrin und drumherum wäre angebracht. In den Bungalows selbst, die wunderschön sind, muss es mehr Licht geben, gerde im Badezimmer. Das bisschen Licht ist zu wenig und der Wasserdruck ist auch extremst schlecht.

Right on the main beach set back from the main road, location in the garden was peaceful. Staff were very helpful and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

There is some day time aircraft noise as it is close to the airport.

La service de réception a l'écoute et le service de chambre super pour le nettoyage et la décoration du lit. La piscine privé de la chambre superbe de jour comme de nuit, et une grande douche. L'emplacement juste en face de la centrale SAMUI, du marché a l'arrière et proche de tout commodités ainsi qu'à 10 minutes de l'aéroport. Incroyable séjour.

The rooms are very spacious and really well air conditioned. We were so pleased with our stay we returned again at the end of the trip. So close to the main road and love the beach gym sooo handy.

Great location and the outside gym is a gem!

Die Lage des Resorts ist hammermäßig, direkt mittig in der belebten Chawengstraße. Man ist überall sehr schnell. Die Anlage ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das ist genau das, was uns so gefällt - es ist absolut autentisch und man füt den absultuen Bungalow-Lifestyle. Das Personal in jedem Bereich ist super hilfsbereit und sehr sehr freundlich! Jeder Zeit wieder!!

The property is spacious, and has more than enough room for even 3 persons. The property itself had an amazing location and is in the heart of Chaweng, with the mall Central Samui just across the road. The accommodation is placed very close to the beach and there was almost no noise from Chaweng street. It’s a great place to come back to for rest and peace. The staff is very nice and Chris has made our stay as comfortable as possible. Her English is very good, so for those who do not speak Thai, no language barrier at all! Also a shoutout to the cleaners, for always making the room spotless. We also received a free shuttle to the airport on the check out day.

Great spot walking distance to the mall, shops and restaurants. Beautiful outlook over the beach and pool from our room. Large room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed! Short walk along the beach to fire shows at night and ability to get massage or jetskis right on the beach front. Reception staff super friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very average, we didnt have it included and only paid for it once, wouldn't waste our money again. Bar at the pool said they closed at 6.30. We weren't able to get a cocktail at 5pm as they had already packed up. - we understand we were there in low season.

Location is superb. the sorrounding vibs are great..

The room lighting and water pressure is poor.

Only stayed for 1 night as arrived in late but location is good next to Central Samui Mall and close to Nightlife options

Location great..1 minute walk from restaurants and 30 odd metres to the beach.Great swimming pool kept clean and helpful staff.Bar at the pool area serving food as well.Bungalows are nice and spacious. Good value for money

Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit privatem Pool, das war richtig schön . Zimmer ist sehr geräumig. Die Lage in Chaweng ist perfekt, direkt am Strand, mit vielen Restaurants und Shops in der Nähe, aber dennoch sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich ( vor allem unser Zimmermädchen) , der Strand ist wunderschön. Zwar fliegen die Maschinen darüber, aber uns hat es nicht gestört.. ist halt ein Erlebnis.

Wenn man etwas anstanden müsste, wären nur 2 Kleinigkeiten: die Liegenmatratzen am Strand sind teilweise sehr kaputt .. und die Preise für Frühstück und an der Bar etwas hoch. Aber verglichen mit deutschen Preisen, immer noch in Ordnung.

Miss Chris in the reception was very polite . She arranged fixation of our AC immediately when reported. The open airgym with wooden weights was amazing gor athlete like me. Will visit again gor sure.

The hole staff of this ressort is so warm, kind and friendly. I will come again. I had a bungalow with pool, which was in a good shape. Rhe ressort is located directly to the beach.

Location was fabulous- beach access, Chaweng beach is so good for the whole family.

My 5th stay at this resort. All the reception staff are excellent (especially Chris), always smiling, willing to help and willing to listen to any concerns and sorted promptly. Big thankyou also to the housekeeping staff, really pleasant. The pool bungalows are very spacious, inc. mid size fridge and a microwave, which is very good when your staying with family. Lovely pool, beach on your doorstep, shopping mall across the road. Ideal for kids. Dont expect 5*, expect 3* and you wont be disappointed.

Nice variety at breakfast but.... the staff do not seem to interested, even though BF finished at 10.30, if you were there at 9.30 and certain foods of drinks had run out, they would not be replenished. Cutlery trays empty, no glasses for drinks, surely this should be checked. Overall 3/5. This would not spoil my return.

The wooden gym was brilliant. Location was great and it was clean.

It needed a bit of a renovation. The water wasn’t very hot so cold showers and the toilet plumbing a bit hit and miss. One night I did hear the clubs nearby pumping but didn’t notice it after that.

The staff, location, beaches and near to everything. The calmness also.

The first night i book the entry price room, it was not really good because the curtains are very light color and you woke up extra early because of it and the sunlight. I complain about it and paid some extra (not too much) to get a much more comfortable room with black curtains which was perfect after that. Thats the only main thing i could complain about. I think it would be great if every room could have dark curtains. Other than that everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Mattresses hard and gave crook backs. Beachfront restaurant never open of an evening. Breakfast was ok but not amazing.

Horrible, okay for the price but I can’t even but the issues are crazy. No reliable power, chaweng had a power outrage and they waited several hours before turning the generator on making the rooms saunas and full of bugs. No running water water broke and they don’t know when they’ll fix it. They ruined there own beach by allowing not 1 but 2 jet ski services directly on there “private” beach. These jet skis leave you about a 20 foot span of beach to swim and the people are extremely rude , often drive in the swimming zone missing you by a foot and will sit and yell at you for swimming at your resort beach because they just want to use it for jet skiing waste of a beach. Also everything is out of date from there welcome info to the signs in the room they are missing tons of amenities there kitchen closes hours earlier then it says and whenever you ask why they just say oh out of date. They also do construction on ether side of your room at 9am randomly and our shower doesn’t drain even though I’ve asked them to fix it 3 times. Horrible.

Staff were helpful, the gym is fun and a really nice location right near the shopping mall and on the beach. The private pool was really cool.

Gym isn’t very functional for a workout, more for the aesthetics, the bed wasn’t very comfy and the air con was a big issue. The room didn’t really ever cool down even though we had it on constantly.

Les matelas des sunbeds n'étaient pas nettoyé le matin et pleine de sable.

The resort is on the good location with an access to the lovely beach, the staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the shops and restaurants are nearby. We had a pleasant stay :-)

Amazing place ! Very nice room and having private pool to chill was lovely, staff are very helpful and were friendly, will 100% be coming back
