Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Es una casa aledaña a una casa principal. Está super equipada y dispone de todas comodidades. La ubicación es muy tranquila y la comunicación con el dueño muy fácil. Dispone de zona de aparcamiento.
La casa se encuentra en las afueras de Westport, a varios kilómetros en una zona residencial. Para ir a Westport es necesario ir en coche.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026Had a great stay at The Croft. Very handy location (close to Westport) and there is a petrol station / mini supermarket just across the road. The property was clean and well-maintained. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Loved the addition of a hot water bottle. Hosts were easy to communicate with and accommodating with regards to a late check-in. Helpful information on the property and surrounding area was provided in a file in the lounge.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Wir haben uns hier zu dritt sehr wohl gefühlt. Das kleine Haus bietet alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe reichlich vorhanden.
Das Haus war leider kalt. Die Heizung gab es zwar, aber es ging nach kurzer Zeit aus.

Le gros point noir est la température du logement : Il faisait 13 degrés dans les chambres quand nous sommes arrivés. Et sans doute moins de cela dans la cuisine, le salon et la salle de bain. Cela n'est pas acceptable surtout quand on reste qu'une nuit. Il a fallu attendre quelques heures pour que ça chauffe. Il serait bien d'ajouter un petit chauffage dans la salle de bain, et une grosse casserole. Cuisine un peu petite mais pour qq nuits ça le fait. Sans ce point noir j'aurais mis une note de 8 ou 9.

Wanted us out ASAP despite freezing ice and poor roads, received an automated mail that checkout was strictly 11AM due to 'other guests', emphasis should be put on the guests that are in the house not the ones coming the following day, a common sense approach would be recommended, it wouldnt have killed to give an extra hour given the inclement weather conditions or at least a token guesture offer of sorts.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025This accommodation was spotless, tea and towels were provided and luckily hot water bottles. It was kid friendly.it was a home away from home.
It was cold, I didn't feel the heating came on at all. We used the hot water bottles a lot. There were electric radiators we could turn on in the bedrooms and they heated the room to 15 degrees. It would be great to stay here in summer.

Reviewed Nov 23, 2025It was cosy & clean. Only a short drive to Westport and 43 mins from Knock airport so perfect location. Well equipped kitchen and facilities. Diane checked in with us to ask if there was anything we needed. It was a lovely stay. We were there to visit family and will definitely rebook.
As always you read reviews before you book. I’ve learnt that if there are enough good reviews you have to take the bad ones with a pinch of salt. I’m glad we did because the bad reviews were unfounded. Yes the furnishings may be a little dated but that’s personal choice.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025This was a very nice single level apartment, particularly nice to seniors like us. It's comfy and well appointed. It is attached to the hosts' home, so their responses to inquiries were very quick !! Although attached, it has its own separate drive and entrance, so nicely private. Although not in "downtown" Westport, it's located on a road that leads quickly to the city centre... Very convenient. We loved staying there and highly recommend it !!
The only thing to note was the shower was in a tub... Not an issue for most people, but for seniors or others with mobility issues, this could be a detractor. Otherwise, it was great !! 😊

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025The Croft Appartment war als wir ankamen nicht geheizt, der Host war aber sehr schnell da und hat uns geholfen, die Heizung einzuschalten (Beschreibung im Heft hat nicht mehr gestimmt). Sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns dann sehr wohl gefühlt. Kuschliges Wohnzimmer mit grossem Fenster in den Garten, war sehr gemütlich. Alles war tipptopp sauber und schön präsentiert (Tee-Korb). Die Zimmer und Betten (eher hart, aber gut) waren top, sehr sauber war alles.
Der Platz in der Küche wäre für 4 Personen etwas eng, Tischchen und Stühle haben knapp Platz, wenn gerade niemand kochen muss. Das Bad ist zwar klein, aber sauber. Einzig die Gummiabdichtung der Dusch-Scheibe ist alt/defekt, die Scheibe hält nicht mehr und hängt entweder in die Wanne oder man hat einen nassen Boden, wenn man die Scheibe etwas nach aussen drückt. Bitte reparieren lassen, dann kommen wir sehr gerne wieder. :o)

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Westport while staying slightly away from the hussle and bussle of the town. The taxi ride is only about 10 euro and there are lots of taxis available. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again

Il bagno era vecchio e poco manutenuto. La ceramica della vasca macchiata di giallo marrone, il vetro della vasca pieno di ruggine, il battiscopa scorticato, la casa molto umida, pochi accessori in cucina, la stanza da letto minuscola, il getto dell’acqua fiochissimo. La proprietaria non ci ha nemmeno dato un piccolo rimborso per il disagio. Esperienza pessima
