De kamer was niet heel groot. De andere twee kamers leken wel ruimer overigens. Verder viel niets ons tegen.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Es una casa particular hecha alojamiento que cuenta con 3 habitaciones en el primer piso y dos baños completamente equipados, separados por sexos. Aún siendo baño compartido se siente bastante cómodo y los propietarios son muy majos y dan facilidades para todo lo que necesitas.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Very central location in Reine with great views from my comfortable room out to sea. Easy to follow instructions for access. Good little kitchenette area downstairs with kettle, microwave and sink. Spacious and clean shared bathroom, with separate facilities for men and women. I was able to store a bag downstairs after checkout while I took a trip out to Bunes beach.
It was expensive for shared facilities, but due to its central location and the cost of accommodation in Reine during high season it was to be expected.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026THE place to stay in Reine ! It’s perfectly situated on the main square, with Circle K and café and restaurant. The house is beautiful, with an incredible view on the fjord. The decoration is so well done, everything looks great. The bedrooms are big, with very very confortable beds. The place is very well equipped, with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, tea/coffee, etc. The hosts have all the information beforehand, which was very practical. We absolutely loved staying here, and if we come back to Reine, will definitely come back to The Gamle Hotellet !
We didn’t always have wifi connection in our bedroom, but the internet connection was really good (4/5G)

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026We loved how centrally located the guesthouse was, the views from our room, the comfy beds, the little kitchen downstairs for coffee and tea, the proximity to the cafe and restaurants (just steps away!), the cleanliness of the bathroom and the overall beautiful aesthetic of the guesthouse. It was a special place! The shared bathroom was really no big deal -- there's a women's bathroom and a men's bathroom and whenever we needed it, it wasn't occupied and was super-clean.
Lofoten is a rainy place and we got wet, but didn't have an easy solution to drying our stuff out. There were 3 hooks in the room, but that's it. We felt badly hanging our wet things over the beautiful furniture and had wished there was a simple rack for drying out our jackets, pants and socks.

La chambre était spacieuse avec vue sur la mer, et les lits très confortables. Il y a une petit espace au rez-de-chaussée avec cafetière, bouilloire, frigo et micro-ondes ce qui est bien pratique. Je recommande fortement !

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Die Unterkunft war eine Perle IN einer Perle. Topsauber. Romantisch. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. -Ein absolutes Highlight!- Bestlage in Reine. Eines der besten Restaurants der Lofoten gleich gegenüber. Wir waren total begeistert! Parken neben dem Haus. Wunderschöner Meerblick aus dem Fenster. Es fehlte an NICHTS. Wenn wir wieder ins zauberhafte Reine kommen, dann NUR in diese Juwel-Unterkunft.
(Fast) nichts. Ausser.....es gibt kein Frühstück. Und die Vorhänge dürften "lichtundurchlässiger" sein. Logisch: Wegen der Mitternachtssonne. ;-) Aber ist das "Jammern auf höchstem Niveau". Diese Unterkunft ist zweifellos aussergewöhnlich wundervoll!

La única cosa que puede ser un poco más incómoda es que compartes baño con otras tres habitaciones. Pero está separado el de hombres y mujeres, por lo que hay dos y está super limpio.

Les escaliers très raides Ne pas pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre à cause du poisson séché qui sent très mauvais et très fort Les toilettes sont dans la salle de bain. Comme celle-ci est commune à tous les locataires, ce n'est pas confortable. Notre chambre était collée à la salle de bain. Jusqu'à 23h , beaucoup de bruit d'eau dû à son utilisation

Our room was large so we were able to spread out and the guest house had lots of thoughtful touches - the use of a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and sliders. We would highly recommend staying here.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Die Gastgeberin ist wirklich super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Guesthouse liegt direkt neben dem Kaffee und im Herzen der Ortschaft. Die Better sind komfortabel und es ist alles sauber trotz Gemeinschaftsbad. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Letto e cuscini supercomodi, mini cucina interna in comune a disposizione con microonde, titolare gentile e disponibile e parcheggio gratuito in parte se disponibile, ma noi con la moto nessun problema, altrimenti a pagamento di fronte. Accanto una ottima pasticceria per fare colazione.

There is a male and female bathroom. We never had to wait, even though there were 4 rooms. The people were super friendly and helpful!

Le tende oscuranti erano poco spesse e non essendo abituati alla luce dell'estate nordica si faticava un pochino a dormire, avremmo apprezzato tende più spesse in modo da oscurare meglio, ma si tratta di un dettaglio!

The welcome from the owner of the house and the staff was fantastic, like feeling at home. We needed help getting to the ferry on time and they went out of their way to help us. We will definitely be back!
