Staff were amazing. Food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Great value for money. Trips were perfect!

The only thing that wasn’t even a negative but just something to be aware of is that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms but the Wi-Fi is great in the restaurant.

Andy and his team made us feel very special. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day cruise. The second day around the fishing village was just us, so it was great to have the day boat all to ourselves. The food was delicious, with lots of courses. Plenty of space on the boat to relax. The itinerary was well considered, giving you enough time to relax and enjoy the views. The route was relatively quiet with only a couple of other boats following it. Maybe different in the high season.

Our bathroom on the triple room smelled really bad, likely the pipes. They took us swimming on a very rocky beach so we didn’t enjoy it and got our feet hurt.

Andy and the staff were delightful, accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and had lovely views. The food was fresh with lots of variety.

Everything on the cruise was top notch. Highly recommended to take this cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay to avoid the crowds of Ha Long Bay. Staff were amazing, rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

Would recommend providing water shoes for the kayaking and beach. Beaches are not great and are filled with sharp coral rocks. Few of us cut out feet. I wouldn't recommend swimming unless you have shoes.

I liked that it wasn't over crowded on the boat and with all the tours Andi was a great guide on and off the boat very very helpful with everything The food on board and on the day tour was above and beyond expectations well and truly worth your money and would recommend this to anyone

The staff on board were very attentive and friendly. I couldn't fault them and highly commend their service. The foot & leg massage by Thoo was one of the highlights for us! The food was plentiful, and they did offer alternatives if shellfish/seafood wasn't suitable . The cocktails were good.

I would love to give Signature Cruises 10/10, but unfortunately, a few factors knocked our rating down, and I feel an honest review is helpful for people looking to book this trip. The ship is fairly old, so although the french inspired decor was lovely, we did notice that the cleanliness in some areas may need a little attention. The ensuite in our cabin had a jacuzzi bath (that has seen better days 😥) with a shower head attachment that required you to sit in the bath to "shower," which was not great. The bathroom smelt strongly of sewage, which meant when we were in our cabin, it wasn't at all pleasant on the nose. The kayaking excursion to the cave on day 2 was a little disappointing, as the young man who took us out had no idea what he was doing. He was very new and inexperienced, giving very little instruction on where to go and then made everyone disembark their kayaks into thick mud, sharp corals, and rocks. This resulted in several of the group cutting their feet. As much as it pains me, i think it came down to the fact that my expectations were a little too high, and the cost for 2 nights didn't quite deliver what I had envisaged for the trip 😔

La gentillesse et le professionnalisme d’Andy & Win ainsi que l’ensemble de l’équipage. Tout était parfait du début à la fin, de l’appel pour l’organisation de l’arrivée jusqu’à l’aide finale pour contacter notre futur chauffeur. La localisation dans la baie de Tu Lung était à couper le souffle, loin des bateaux remplis de hordes de touristes. Un vrai sentiment de bienveillance de la part de tout l’équipage pour chacun des moments vécus.

Wir waren mit einer tollen Crew und tollen anderen Gästen in der ruhigeren Vinh Bai Halong Bucht unterwegs. Unser Kreuzfahrtchef Andy hat uns rund um die Uhr sehr gut betreut und informiert. Die Tour mit 3 Tagen/ 2 Nächten war viel zu schnell vorbei. Nach der Ankunft am Schiff gab es schon das erste mehrgängige Menü. Nachmittags ein Ausflug mit dem Kajak, abends Kochkurs. Am nächsten Tag Ausflug zum schwimmenden Dorf. Selbst am Tag der Abreise konnten wir noch eine Höhle besuchen. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und bei der Ausflugsfahrt an Tag 2 mittags viel zu viel. Abends von 17.00 Uhr bis 19.00 Uhr Hsppy Hour, so dass die etwas höheren Getränkepreise nicht so schlimm sind. Unsere Kabine auf Deck 2 war sehr groß mit Balkon und Kleiderschrank. Im Bad eine Whirlpoolwanne, für die genügend heißes Wasser zur Verfügung stand. Die Tour durch die Bucht ein unglaublich schönes Erlebnis, ein paar Sonnenstrahlen mehr wären schön gewesen. Aber das Wetter konnte auch Andy nicht ändern. Bereits zu Beginn der Reise erhielten wir eine detaillierte Übersicht zum Programm der folgenden Tage.

We specifically booked this cruise as it goes to the Bai Tu Long Bay area, which is far less crowded than Halong Bay. Our room was big, with a spa and balcony to enjoy a quiet drink. We did 2 nights, and if you're able to, we can't recommend this enough. It allows you to truly relax, appreciate the surroundings, do a day tour, and enjoy the amazing food and drinks whilst absorbing the incredible views - a beautiful part of the world. The service was incredible, and a big shout out to Andy and the staff for looking after us - thank you! You all made us all feel so welcome. If you are looking to do a cruise in the Halong Bay area, but would prefer a more relaxing vibe away from the crowds, then we would highly recommend this Signature Royal cruise - you won't be disappointed.

Fantastische tocht;onbeschrijflijk mooi om te zien, super lekker, gevarieerd en mooi opgediend eten (!!), opvallend vriendelijk personeel. Logistiek is alles ook top geregeld, met dank aan Lily en Andy! Andy gaf ook een fijne tai chi les en goede informatie over het vissersdorp en grot. Hij is vokgens ons "de perfecte gids". Hele fijne ruime kamer, met privebalkon en jacuzzi. Onvergetelijke ervaring al met al!

De prijzen op de boot (en de tocht zelf) zijn relatief duur. Desalniettemin: absolute aanrader!

Nous sommes ravis d'avoir cette compagnie pour notre croisière. L'équipage est pro et sympa. L'ambiance sur le bateau était toute calme, avec de beaux espaces communs pour profiter des vues (en plus de celle de la chambre). Sans oublier le lit hyper confortable !

Nourriture un peu moyenne (mais bonne prise en compte de notre régime végétarien, merci !). Le transport aller/retour comporte beaucoup de temps morts sur le bateau au port, dans le hall du terminal, dans une boutique géante de perles...

Die Balkonkabine war riesengroß, alles war sehr sauber und die Betten wirklich bequem. Die Crew war sehr freundlich, es war alles sehr gut organisiert (Einschiffen, Ausflüge, Zimmervergabe, Essen, Abendprogramm). Das Essen war sehr lecker und vielfältig, auf Sonderwünsche/Änderungswünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Der Ausklang auf der Dachterrasse mit Cocktails und Sonnenuntergnag war sehr schön. Danke an Lucy und Andy für das schöne Erlebnis. Wir hatten auch Glück und es waren sehr wenige Schiffe unterwegs, was die ganze Reise noch exklusiver gemacht hat.

Leider hat der Abfluss im Bad etwas gerochen und aufrecht duschen war in der Whirpoolbadewanne schwer möglich, da der Duschschlauch viel zu kurz war.

The boat was very clean, food was excellent. Staff were Amazing and friendly . Win our tour guide was informal and friendly , always had a happy face, nothing was to much trouble for him, a lovely chap.

We were very impressed with this cruise. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The ship itself was clean and well designed and decorated. The staff were amazing! The meals were delicious and so much food! The excursions were well organised and enjoyable. We were lucky enough to have minimal boats and people around so very glad we chose this route rather than Hà Long Bay! Highly recommend this cruise.

Yo diría que es un barco "gourmet" por la cantidad y calidad de la comida que para nosotros fue incluso excesiva. La tripulación encantadora, siempre atenta a cualquier petición. Y la masajista "Nyam", de diez!

Transfers from our hotel in Hanoi - we were forgotten so they booked a private transfer! The driver was tired and falling asleep so we asked him to stop which he did; he then drove too fast and erratically to get there in time. Our lives flashed before our eyes. The return transfer was in a ‘limousine’ bus which would have been too old to be in service anywhere else in the world. There was an enforced stop en route at an outlet which the driver said he was getting lunch but I suspect it was purely for passengers to buy more goods

Segnale wifi era inesistente in certi casi fondamentale dato che anche il segnale GSM del posto non era sufficiente. Il cibo per quanto molto curato non ci ha soddisfatti molto ed inoltre abbastanza scarso di quantità. Il brutto tempo purtroppo ha amplificato il valore delle cose negative.

The food was to die for, the scenery stunning, staff so friendly, fishing for squid such fun, kayaking around the floating village brilliant. The cabin was perfect (Senior suite with balcony). We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The special check in area & waiting room in the port was a welcome bonus!

Ha Long bay was incredible. Even though we had cloudy sky and cooler temperature, it was breath taking

Une croisière magique du début à la fin. Dès la prise en charge à l’hôtel, tout a été fluide et rassurant. À bord de Signature Cruise, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse, le personnel est attentionné, présent sans jamais être envahissant. Les repas étaient délicieux, raffinés, avec de vraies attentions pour les allergies et les régimes végétariens. Les activités proposé sont intéressantes, accessibles et accompagnées d'explications. La balade en kayak permet de découvrir le village de pecheurs et la culture des perles. La visite de la grotte quant à elle fait le lien entre légende et histoire du vietnam. Sans oublier la délicieuse séance de Tai Chi d'Andy au petit réveil. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, confortables et propres avec une vue incroyable sur la baie. Un immense merci à Andy, Jenee et tout l'équipage pour leur bienveillance, leur sourire et leur professionnalisme. Grâce à elles, cette croisière restera un très beau souvenir. Nous recommandons de tout cœur.

We wanted to cruise on a wooden ship that went to a quieter part of the Bay away from the party boats and this cruise delivered. The food was delicious and plenty of it . In fact too many courses for us to eat so we would pick our courses ahead of time so as not to waste the food. Our room was very clean, spacious and had a small balcony to relax on. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was outstanding. Many thanks to the manager, Andy, and Tau, Son, and Lisa. My wife had a nasty cold so she stayed in our room and they brought our food and extra fresh ginger tea several times a day.

First impressions & value for money Let’s start with the price. By Vietnamese standards, this cruise is expensive and feels out of sync with how affordable everything else in the country is. That said, if you compare it to European prices, it actually represents decent value. Whether it feels “worth it” will really depend on your expectations—hopefully the detail below helps you decide. Food The food on board was very hit and miss. We had two dinners as part of the two-night cruise. Night one was genuinely good, with a few Vietnamese dishes (albeit toned down to suit all palates). Night two was a let-down—perfectly edible, but very western and unremarkable. All meals are set-menu, group dining. Dinner times are fixed, food arrives in courses, and there’s no flexibility. As a couple, we had our own table and shared dishes, which worked well. Breakfast was extremely basic—especially disappointing after the incredible hotel breakfast buffets in Hanoi. Aside from Vietnamese coffee, there was nothing local: toast, pastries, fruit, and an egg station. That’s it. Lunch on the first day was excellent. However, on day two we were transferred to a separate “day boat” while the main ship returned to port to collect new guests. This came as a surprise—we weren’t told in advance that we’d lose access to our cabin for the day. You can stay on the main boat and skip the excursion back to port, but then you miss cruising the bay. The day boat itself was very basic, and lunch was mostly fried food and quite poor compared to what we’d had the day before. Drinks Drinks are noticeably expensive—more so than even large hotels in the cities. Expect to pay double or triple what you’ve been paying elsewhere in Vietnam. It’s a captive audience situation. Cocktails were fine, nothing special, but there is a 2-for-1 happy hour which makes them more reasonable. Accommodation We stayed in a suite with a balcony.

Choosing this cruise over the ones which sail Ha Long was a wise choice, as Bai Tu Long is far less crowded and you can totally immerse in the breathtaking scenery. The ship facilites were top notch and spotless. The meals were delicious, hard to pick one dish over another as they were all really tasty. As for the staff, they were all lovely and super nice, but I have to especially mention the Cruise Manager, Win, who did a superb job and turned this cruise into an unforgettable experience. He was welcoming, funny, and prompt to solve any issues or questions any of us may have. A true professional; thank you for a wonderful time, Win!!

Nous avons passé 3 jours /2 nuits avec une organisation parfaite du début à la fin . De la cuisine au chambre en passant par l'accueil,le service, le bar et l'animation tout était parfait. Une mention spéciale à M.Morning qui à rendu cette croisière magnifique et inoubliable ( kropchai lai lai). Des bon souvenir de pêche aux calamars avec l'équipage le soir . Et la surprise au brunch avec la préparation des calamars restera dans nos cœurs. Merci infiniment pour votre excellente prestation.

Quitter la croisière, on serait bien restés.

The staff were amazing and attentive. Food and drinks were great. The boat was clean and well equipped. Beautiful scenery and good amount of activities for us (2 adults and 1 young child). We very much enjoyed the trip (3 days/2 nights). Thank you!

The scenery is so beautiful, especially sunrise and sunset and I really enjoyed the cave and beach visit. The cabin was lovely and comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff, especially our guides Win and Lilly, were so caring and made sure everybody enjoyed their time on the cruise.

Nothing! Just note that solo travellers may struggle to kayak alone unless they are experienced as the boats are meant for 2 people.

El barco es una maravilla, era nuestra luna de miel y se portaron GENIAL con nosotros. Todo el personal era súper amable pero en especial Morning hizo que nuestra estancia fuera redonda. Para nosotros una buena proporcion de actividades y tiempo para poder disfrutar del barco. También, súper destacable la comida; estaba todo riquísimo!!

En realidad, por tiempo, se trataría de 1D1N y no 2D1N cómo se publicita, pero es un standard en todos los barcos, no una crítica hacia este.

Mr Morning , Vinny and the whole crew were so great.. our 2 night stay over new year’s eve was superb …. the boat was a classic type with all the class of old world charm.. outstanding service and so friendly.. if ur thinking of a cruise this signature royal over 2 nights was brilliant !!!!!!!
