To wyjątkowe miejsce dzięki któremu możesz poczuć się jak prawdziwy mieszkaniec Katanii. Gospodarz Anna to cudowna osoba która dołoży wszelkich starań aby pobyt był pod każdym względem doskonały. Dzięki Annie nie będziesz musiał zastanawiać się co i gdzie robić, Anna zaplanuje każdy twój dzień, wyśle lokalizację wyjątkowych miejsc do których normalnie byś nie trafił. Okolica jest specyficzna i trzeba sobie powiedzieć szczerze, że nie każdemu przypadnie do gustu. Uliczki są bardzo wąskie i trzeba nauczyć się nimi jeździć. Dosłownie obok obiektu znajduje się chyba jedyny, normalny parking w okolicy na którym zawsze znajdzie się wolne miejsce. Jeżeli chcesz mieć spokój i pewność to 3 minuty piechotą jest duży, zadaszony, strzeżony parking (20€/dzień). Okolica obfituje w autentyczne miejsca z lokalnym, niedrogim jedzeniem. Mieszkanie jak na tę część miasta jest naprawdę przestronne. Nie jest to szczyt nowoczesności, ale znajduje się w nim prawie wszystko potrzebne na dowolnie długi pobyt. posiada 2 balkony i dwie osobne sypialnie, chociaż jedna z nich nadaje się praktycznie wyłącznie dla dzieci ponieważ jest bardzo niskie i dorosły człowiek nie ma możliwości wyprostowania się w nim. Bardzo wygodne podwójne łóżko, mnóstwo szaf. Sprawna klimatyzacja, oraz świeże powietrze ponieważ mieszkanie jest bardzo wysokie i można otworzyć okna w taki sposób by powstał przeciąg. Dwa balkony idealne dla osoby palącej. 10 minut piechotą do centrum Katanii, 15 minut autem lub 30 minut autobusem na lotnisko.

In fact we didn't stay in property since we immediately left it. The reason: simple - one of bedrooms was missing, therefore the property wasn't suitable for us. The so called second bedroom was in fact above the kitchen, build with some strange materials and a stairway in bad condition to reach. It was dangerous to use. I need to advice potential clients to check with google maps the surrounding area as well as it is bad. I have to clearly declare that we have vary bad communication with Anna (the host), who, in my opinions, is crystal clear with it's misleading listing (please pay attention the payment is non-refundable, in advance, so zero chances to recollect money back). so in short we lost EUR 100 and had very bad experience that spoiled our vacation.

The host was very friendly. She gave us tons of information about restaurants, attractions many tips etc. The place is maybe 5-10 minutes walk from the city centre. The parking (real one) is just 50 meters from the door which is really good luck there.

The furniture and equipment require renovation. Some basic kitchenware is missing. At some point, we found there was no lighter and we could not use a cooker. But this kind of thing seems to be typical for Sicily and that was expected - so I cant complain. I'm pretty sure we can ask to fix some small things and it would be done. But we did not care much. As always in Sicily "wifi works but it was broken just yesterday" :)

Anna is an incredible, personable host. Sincere, very friendly and kind, and super super helpful!! She gave us great local information (I think the hidden gem of a local restaurant she suggested was the best experience I had in Sicily). Her place is simple and charming, it felt like being at home and for us we'd much rather have this experience than in a hotel. Very local and authentic neighbourhood, and actually really well located. Short walk to the centre and short drive to airport. Couldn't have asked for anything more!! Anna really made the experience, and she is so knowledgeable. We can't wait to come back and take a tour or something with her. We wouldn't bother looking anywhere else in Catania, that's for sure!

The location of the place is excellent because it is very close to all tourist sites in the center of Catania. Pia, the host, was an excellent guide of the city, told us what to visit and where to eat. She was very special. We definitely recommend her and her place!

The host was very welcoming and helped us with parking. Bed were comfortable. All worked fine for a night stay over for a family with two kids. The apartment is very close to the airport which was important for us.

The location is in a narrow street. There is a bit of a night life noise.

Anna was very kind and ready to help us to have a good vacation in Catania. She even took us dancing! I recommend staying at her place. It was clean with folded towels and fresh oranges waiting for us Thank you Anna!

The shower is very skinny

The apartment was bigger than expected and the bed was really comfortable. Really recommend this place!

the area didn’t feel safe, my small dog got attacked and bitten by a stray dog outside of the apartment. :/

Everything was perfect. In a city full of friendly people, the host of La Salette, Anna, is the friendliest we met. She did everything to make sure our stay was fantastic. Although not as modern as some other places we stayed, La Salette has an old style charm and a very homely feel to it. We will definitely stay there again. A huge thank you to Anna for all she did for us throughout our stay! The best value for money in Catania. Highly recommended.

Cleanliness of the streets. There are no laws regarding the picking up of dog poop but this was not the fault of La Salette and we found it to be everywhere and not just in this particular area. It wouldn't put us off returning though.

The host (Anna) is as nice as it gets. She is ready to help at all times and will quickly answer if something is needed. The bedroom and the living room are very nice and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are also well equipped. Anna also brought us new towels after a couple of days, which was very kind.

In our neighbourhood were fireworks going off pretty much every evening. We did not have many problems with that, but our dog certainly did. The city of Catania is also not at all suitable for dogs or any kind of pets. Bigger supermarkets were also too far away for our preference. Nothing was wrong with the flat itself.
