Localização boa, mas sem lugar de estacionamento

Unfortunately, despite a very positive first impression and initially friendly hosts, I would not recommend this property. The main issue was the jacuzzi, charged separately at €150 PER DAY. On the first night, when we turned on the jets, dirt and black particles came into the water. We had to get out and shower immediately. Despite photos and videos showing what happened, the host refused to refund even the €150 for that night, arguing that because we had entered the jacuzzi, we had “used” it. There were also problems with the sanitary facilities, and we were even told that if the system stopped working, the guests could ultimately be held responsible. Unfortunately, this reflected our overall experience: when problems arose, responsibility tended to be placed on the guest rather than acknowledged by the host. The air conditioning also did not correspond to the Booking description, which stated “individual air-conditioning unit in each room”. There was only one unit near the bed, and it was insufficient to cool the space properly. Breakfast was very basic, mainly packaged croissants and simple items such as jam. On our final morning, even the jam had not been replenished. Be aware that several services involve substantial additional charges, so I strongly recommend checking exactly what is included before booking. The property is beautiful and the hosts are very friendly initially, but hospitality is also about how problems are handled when something goes wrong. Based on the hygiene issues, discrepancies with the advertised amenities, additional charges and the way our complaints were handled, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to other guests.

La chambre est très spatieuse et une décoration baroque élégante . Le mobilier choisi les peintures j ai tout aimé . En hyper centre historique à 4 mn à pied de la piazza del Duomo . Un accueil au top avec plein de gâteaux .. le personnel attentionné

L écoulement de la douche que j ai signalé ( très lent ) et présence d un cafard mais rien de grave .. le bâtiment est ancien et le quartier aussi donc cela ne m’a pas empêché de dormir

Nuestra estancia fue estupenda. El alojamiento estaba muy bien cuidado, limpio y cómodo, y tenía todo lo necesario para pasar una noche agradable. Giuseppe fue un anfitrión muy atento, amable y cercano, y estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviera bien durante nuestra estancia. Además, la ubicación es perfecta, justo en el centro. Sin duda, una experiencia muy positiva y un alojamiento que recomendaríamos a otros viajeros. ¡Muchas gracias por todo, Giuseppe!

Close to the city centre. The double bed as standard was nice instead of single. Large rooms.

Breakfast was prepacked sweet treats and not actual food. We did not even consider eating it as we weren't sure that it was okay after sitting in the heat for such periods of time. Instead of preparing both beds by default, they only prepped 1 bed for some reason while they knew we were father and son staying there, they wanted us to sleep in 1 bed and we had to wait until the next day for the other bed to be made. Advertised as spacious and quiet, only the spacious part applied as from 6:30/7:00am both weekdays he had construction drilling and dropping tools from scaffolding right outside our windows which could not be ignored and forced us to leave the apartment first thing in the morning. As per the law here there is also a forced quiet period from 1:30-4:00pm during which was exactly when the construction staff came back to work which was incredibly annoying as that was the peak heat that we wanted to avoid but once again couldn't stay inside due to the noise. Apart from that noise there was also a massive amount of noise from neighbouring rooms as the walls were basically made of paper and anything outside could be heard all night as there was several cut outs in walls covered with wedges?????? Their hygiene was also questionable as we had to fight with cockroaches. Another weird thing was his pushiness to get us to cancel the booking.com booking and to pay him directly preferably in cash. The pipes were also supposed to be problematic and we couldn't flush paper like a normal human expects in 2026 so maybe it should be included in the ad that they have a medieval toilet experience as this is nothing I was comfortable with and would not have booked here if I had known. There was also a terrace advertised which we couldn't use to the construction that he had ordered ( which is incredibly odd to do might I add. Why would I want to stay in a room that is basically halfway into a construction site and still pay money for it, joke).

We were allowed early check in at 1:30 p.m. instead of the 4:00 p.m. check in time.

My friend and I had a very disappointing experience here and would not stay again. When we checked in, Giuseppe informed us that the plumbing system was not functioning properly and specifically instructed us not to put toilet paper or any other paper into the toilet. There was also a sign in the bathroom stating that paper must not be put into the toilet because of the plumbing system and warning that a €500 repair fee could be charged to the responsible guest. We took this warning seriously and consistently disposed of used toilet paper in the trash instead. I also contacted Giuseppe during our stay to request additional trash bags, which he provided. We noticed that using the sink, toilet, or shower produced a loud grinding noise throughout the building, although we initially did not think much of it. On the third day, we noticed that the shower was draining more slowly than before. By the following morning, there appeared to be an increase in water coming back up through the shower drain and bidet. I contacted Giuseppe via WhatsApp to report the issue. He responded that we had caused the plumbing problem. I explained that we had followed his instructions and had not put toilet paper into the toilet. He nevertheless charged an additional €300 for a technician and sent us an invoice via WhatsApp. We were told that the technician could not come until two days later, so Giuseppe offered to move us to another room. Given the way the situation was handled and our concern about potentially being held responsible for further plumbing issues, we decided we were no longer comfortable staying at the property and left that day. Another issue was the air conditioning. It was set to 16°C and could not be adjusted lower, but the AC itself felt quite weak and provided only a light airflow. It also did not effectively circulate air into the living room, meaning the bed area was essentially the only comfortable place to stay. We will not be returning.

Lo único bueno la ubicación . Guiuseppe el anfitrión muy amable, pero en general la habitación no es lo que parece.

Nosotros cogimos el alojamiento basándonos en las opiniones recientes que no estaban mal, el problema es que tienen varios apartamentos y cuando revisamos las opiniones sobre el apartamento que nos dieron no pudieron ser más correctas, todas negativas. Para empezar te manda a una ubicación que no es la que pone, después de llegar cansados del viaje nos encontramos frente a una puerta donde no había nadie que apenas se identificaba y que solo ponía en un timbre i lumi, finalmente llamamos al número y guiseppe vino a acompañarnos a la dirección que era , muy amable se ofreció a ayudarnos con el equipaje. Cuando llegamos , nos dijo que el desayuno era cortesía suya .... El desayuno está pagado e incluido en el precio ( llevamos 10 días en Sicilia y no nos hemos encontrado con esto en ningún momento) , el desayuno es una tarta ya empezada , por a saber quién y cuando , unas cápsulas de café , dos tarros de mermelada y una leche de a saber cuando... En fin horrible , lógicamente no hicimos uso de nada. Lo normal es que si ofreces un servicio lo des y sino mejor no lo pongas. El apartamento se encuentra dividido en dos, efectivamente en todas las 90 fotos que suben en la publicidad del anuncio salen las escaleras pero no sabes cuáles corresponden con qué habitación, en este caso eran las de caracol... Para subir las escaleras con las maletas.. horrible.. sin comentarios El piso está en vía garibaldi y da a la calle del duomo, tema ubicación y vistas es genial pero no está bien insonorizado , es una calle turística y por tanto no te puedes dormir hasta las tantas. Entiendo que esté en el centro pero en la dirección marcaba otra, en ningún momento venía además indicado el nombre del alojamiento en el edificio ni nada, llegamos a pensar incluso que era una estafa hasta que vimos que todos los comentarios de esta misma habitación eran los mismos. Le falta mantenimiento.. el grifo goteaba cada vez que lo usamos. Broche amargo a nuestro viaje por Sicilia

The original room we booked was wonderful. Dimitri was very friendly. And we had an early check in.

We originally booked a deluxe king room, but shortly after arriving was told to cancel our booking and to pay the property directly. Not sure is this was a cultural thing, we uncomfortably agreed. After we settled in we started exploring the city, to get a call that our shower had flooded the room downstairs and that we would need to change rooms. Dimitri has already organised an alternative “closer to the center, a whole apartment, with a kitchen”. Although technically true, the replacement room was really bad. There was a half eaten cake in the fridge, exposed wires everywhere, mould in the shower, rooms were a lot smaller and the balcony was so small you couldn’t even put two people out there, and the location was very noisy. We had no water and had to turn on a pump to get water to the room. When we left, we turned the pump off (because it was off to begin with) and then Dimitri (or someone else with a key) came into the apartment when we were not there and turned the pump back on. There was no offer for a discount for the inferior room. I understand that circumstances were unusual but we were not compensated for the inferior room.

La camera era davvero particolare e caratteristica dotata di tutti i servizi necessari (televisione molto grande, balcone, aria condizionata, bagno spazioso, cucina già fornita di cibo per la colazione). La struttura pulita e confortevole. Posizione ottima, si riesce a visitare la città interamente a piedi. Personale cordiale e gentile, Giuseppe ci ha accolto e fornito informazioni sulla città. Sicuramente un posto che consiglierei

Al risveglio ci siamo ritrovati con un forte odore di spazzatura in camera probabilmente dovuto al cattivo riciclo dell’aria condizionata. La camera si presentava un po cupa per via degli affacci all’interno del palazzo. Ma Yuri e Dimitri sono molto gentili.

Giuseppe war ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Wir durften etwas früher kommen und unsere Sachen abstellen. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, und Giuseppe hat uns noch viele Tips für die Stadt und Restaurants gesendet.

We kregen een kamer op in een andere appartementencomplex dan geboekt. We kwamen in een gebouw waar het niet fris oogte, de kitranden van de douche waren bijvoorbeeld beschimmeld. Daarnaast kun je bij binnenkomst met een spiraaltrap naar boven, echter is deze zo smal dat je niet dikker dan 85 kg moet zijn om überhaupt naar boven te kunnen. Tevens kun je je eigen koffer niet boven krijgen door de smalle trap. Het appartement verbleef midden in het centrum wat natuurlijk een aanrader is, maar als je dit niet hebt geboekt en je beland hier wel, met de volgende dag vertrek naar vliegveld dan is dit geen fijne plek. Reden: deuren/ramen waren totaal niet geluidsisolerend en onder het appartement zit een kroeg/discotheek wat tot 04.30 uur open is. Daarna sluit dit, maar dan komen de vuilniswagens al en de werklui om de markt op te starten.

La camera si trovava ad un secondo piano alto, senza ascensore, ma non è stato per noi un problema

La posizione è centrale,letteralmente a 3 minuti dalla cattedrale e dal centro città. La camera è molto grande.

Il B&B si trova in pieno centro storico, all'interno di una zona a traffico limitato (ZTL): è quindi fondamentale prestare molta attenzione se ci si sposta in auto per evitare sanzioni. La camera, sebbene spaziosa, presenta diversi problemi di manutenzione. Durante il soggiorno l'elettricità continuava a saltare all'uso dell'asciugacapelli, e sia la TV che il Wi-Fi non erano funzionanti. Anche nel bagno abbiamo riscontrato parecchi disagi: il soffione della doccia si è staccato cadendomi addosso e sia la porta della doccia che quella del bagno erano guaste. Nonostante le nostre segnalazioni, la struttura non è riuscita a risolvere le problematiche. Può essere una soluzione adatta solo per brevissimi soggiorni "toccata e fuga", ma complessivamente non mi sento di consigliarla.

Brakowalo nam troche lepszego opisu obiektu kiedy stalismy przed drzwiami w poszukiwaniu nie bylismy pewni czy to napewno te drzwi. Takze sugerujemy lepsze oznaczenie juz tam na miejscu, ale kontakt przez whatsap byl sprawny.

A kulcsos fiú nagyon goromba volt. A jakuzzi nem működött. A légkondi alig hűtőtt, így szörnyen meleg volt a lakásban.

Everything was great. The host (Guiseppe) was very helpful and hospitable. The location of the apartment is also great. It's located in the quiet area of the city centre. The room was very clean and spacious. I would book it again.

La posizione è perfetta, a due paasi da piazza Duomo e tutto il centro storico. la zona è tranquillissima. Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono locali dove mangiare bene a un buon prezzo. La camera era bella, spazioza e pulita. Per visitare Catania e mangiare abbiamo seguito i consigli di Giuseppe e ci siamo trovati benissimo.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We arrived quite late, at around 9:00 PM, and he came specifically to let us in, which we really appreciated after a long day of travelling. The apartment was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and equipped with modern amenities throughout. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and several other useful appliances and utensils, making it feel like a home away from home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Sehr zentrale Lage und doch verhältnismäßig ruhig.

Wir etwas früher vor Ort und haben angerufen, ob wir eventuell schon einchecken können. Der Gastgeber empfing uns ohne Murren , nur bei der Bezahlung rechnete er dann 15€ Aufschlag für's früher Einchecken. Kein Problem, wir waren nur etwas verwundert, weil nicht darüber informiert waren.

Stanza all’ultimo piano di un edificio storico, a due passi dal duomo e dal castello ursino. La stanza è minimal ma molto curata ed adornata in maniera molto originale, in accordo con la città. Lo staff super disponibile e, soprattutto, un grazie in particolare a Giuseppe per averci dato tanti consigli utili sul cibo e per la visita della città!

La colazione lascia un po a desiderare ma la posizione é strategica.

Es difícil entrar. No está claro q habitación era mía y la misma llave abre dos habitaciones. De hecho me metí en una q estaba ocupada. El dueño tendría q estar presente para el check in

Кто-то писал что сложная винтовая лестница. Да, она есть, но мы знали о ней и были готовы тащить чемоданы по ней, но нам помогли. Завтраки для нас тоже были отличные, просто сразу надо понимать что это больше символические комплименты, а не традиционные завтраки.

​La struttura ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. La posizione è ottima e la camera, oltre a essere dotata di un bel televisore grande e aria condizionata, era davvero carina. Materasso comodo. Pulizia puntuale tutti i giorni. Molto apprezzata anche la colazione, ben fornita e con a disposizione parecchi accessori per prepararsela. ​Un encomio speciale va allo staff: estremamente disponibile e gentile, ci è venuto incontro risolvendo con efficienza un problema che abbiamo avuto. Consigliatissimo!

Das Frühstück war ein ganzer großer Marmorkuchen und eingepackte Kekse und Marmelade. Wahrscheinlich ist ein Frühstück nicht umsetzbar, aber ein Gutschein für ein kleines Frühstück an einem cafe ums Eck wäre eine tolle Lösung:-)

La location était juste parfaite ! Presque en plein milieu de la pizza del duomo, avec un parking (payant) juste à côté, ce qui était vraiment parfait !

Abbiamo alloggiato nella junior suite; camera molto pulita e dall’arredamento moderno ma caratteristico, con rifiniture in ceramica. A 5 minuti a piedi dal Duomo e molto sicura grazie alle 3 modalità che servono per entrare. La camera veniva pulita tutte le mattine ed era disponibile una piccola colazione a base di prodotti confezionati offerti dall’oste. Il frigorifero ci veniva rifornito d’acqua e bibite senza alcun supplemento.

Camere pulite accoglienti ottima colazione, struttura in pieno centro storico attaccata al mercato artigianale alla chiesa S. Agata Duomo.. Sono veramente soddisfatto.

La chambre est très grande et confortable et équipée d'un petit frigo, la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse extérieure, très bien placé pour les visites.

Dimitri was an amazing host - ready to support and help us immediately! Love the room, clean, feels at home :)

L’accueil qui donnait l’impression qu’on dérangeait ; le petit déjeuner emballé sous cellophane, l’absence de petite table et chaises puisqu’on vous demande de prendre le petit déjeuner dans votre chambre... alors que les 30 m2 le permettait largement. A part le jour de notre arrivée nous n’avons vu personne.

The fact that cleaning ladies were knocking terribly at the door and shouting sharp at 9am every morning - as if it was a colony, not a holiday apartment. Besides, the breakfast was so-so (and no place to sit while having it).

Caratteristico il palazzo Posizione super centrale comodo per il parcheggio sotto casa e, anchr se presente ztl, il personale fornisce pass auto per stanza.

Un po’ buio e austero. Colazione varia ma tutta interamente confezionata. suggerirei un punto di appoggio nell’area ristoro per una colazione più confortevole.

Several aspects were disappointing: - The address on Booking was different than the address that was shared with us on WhatsApp, which is strange - The entrance of the room is situated in the back of a building next to kitchen restaurants, behind a car, making it tricky to enter - the room is on the upper floor, reachable with a long stairs with very narrow steps so we couldn't take up our luggages. Not accessible for persons with limited mobility - the room smelled very bad from the toilets that have no aeration. - Finally, the room is in the main street above and facing bars and shops, very noisy. We couldn't sleep because of the noise (people screaming in the street by night) and the loud music from the bars. The windows were not at all soundproof.

Siamo stati praticamente attratti dalle foto e catapultati in un altra realtà ! Puzza stanza fredda e sporcizia ! Un tavolo con una colazione identica da 3 giorni
