Alles - besonders der gefüllte Kühlschrank fürs Frühstück mit frischem Joghurt und das selbst gebackene Brot. Ein besonderer Ort, wo alles besonders ist - im positiven Sinn ist.

Liebevoll eingerichtet mit Willkommensfrühstück im Kühlschrank. Vielen Dank. Grill und Feuerschale vorhanden. Einchecken unkompliziert für Spätankommer. Schlüssel steckte auf der Tür.

Leider haben wir die Gastgeber nicht kennengelernt. Etwas Holz, damit man die Feuerschale gleich bei Ankunft nutzen kann, wäre schön. Ich fand den Preis etwas zu hoch.

Also wir angekommen sind hatten wir frisch gebackenes Brot, Marmelade, Joghurt, Milch, O-Saft, Butter im Kühlschrank stehen, das war eine schöne Überraschung. Das Bett war recht bequem und von der größe ausreichend für 2 Personen. Also wir dort waren, war es sehr heiß, durch den Ventilator und Durchzug konnten wir die Hütte gut runterheizen.

Auf den Fotos sieht man meist nur die Hütte mit Garten davor. Bei unserer war eine Holzterrasse, die leider gar keinen Schattenplatz geboten hat und durch die Sonne hat es sich extrem aufgeheizt. Da wäre zumindest ein Sonnenschirm o.ä. ganz schön gewesen. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten waren leider nicht so komfortabel, da es in der Hütte nur eine Couch mit kleinem Tisch gab, was zum Essen nur bedingt praktisch ist und draußen war es wie beschrieben oft durch die Hitze und Sonne nicht möglich zu essen und da gab es leider auch nur eine Bank mit im Verhältnis niedrigem Tisch, was auch nicht bequem zum sitzen war. Insgesamt war es schon sauber, aber es waren innen und außen noch viele Spinnennetze, die nicht weggemacht wurden. Preis-Leistung hat uns daher leider gar nicht gut gefallen.

Very clean. near to the town. Amazing scenery. Very quiet and secluded. Beautiful brown bread, yoghurt and granola and orange juice. Very thoughtful breakfast items. Highly recommend for a maximum of 3 people for a night or two.

bed had a dip in the middle so kept rolling into it. a few cobwebs but to be expected in the countryside. not too much room if you wanted to stay for a week.

Glamping, nice fresh bread left for breakfast which was a nice touch. Well laid out cabin.

Weather hot and the fan didn't work, booked two people but only one bath towel, no response to query about this.

Een Pod met een geweldig uitzicht en helemaal vrij in de natuur en met de schapen. En de eigenaar had een fantastisch ontbijt met allemaal lokale producten neergezet. Erg goed!

Voor 4 volwassen personen was het erg klein en een bordje aan de weg met "South Kerry glamping" zou helpen het te vinden

In de buurt van Cahersiveen ligt deze knusse pod verscholen middenin de natuur op het terrein van Ritchie. De twee pods en de cottage hebben alledrie veel privacy, een eigen parkeerplek, bbq en een zitje buiten. Er stond een zelfgebakken sodabroodje, melk, sap, jam op ons te wachten; een fijne binnenkomer! Het nespresso apparaat ging stuk en dezelfde middag kwam Ritchie langs met een gloednieuwe! Echt een fijne gastheer die direct voor je klaarstaat!

Quiet and peaceful after long daily hikes on the Kerry Way. They even surprise us with juice, milk, yogurt, butter, and bread for our morning breakfast.

C'est très petit pour trois personnes mais nous le savions à l'avance.

That place is amazing. A little mini house complete of all comfort, warm and welcoming. The pod is in the middle of the country side with a very pleasant view and with birds and horses all around. Also the Cottage is very beautiful. Ritchie, the owner, was very kind and he sent a message providing info about the stay and surroundings. Breakfast is included...with local butter and handmade bread. I had a walk until Cahersive walking on the country road and all around there are bikeways... Highly recommended for a pleasant and regenerative stay.

Absolutely nothing. My short stay has been very perfect. Maybe the stay could be a little bit cheaper for longer stays, but given the service, the kindness, the quiet place and the efficiency of the organisation it can be comprehensible

Found the location difficult to find! Although it was dark & pouring with rain when we were trying to find it! The host very generously came out to direct us.

Is a little bit far from town.

We had a comparison with a very similar glamping pod we booked in a different location. Compared to the other one, "South Kerry Glamping" had a much smarter layout. We really liked the wooden deck in front of the pod.

Bellissima struttura, il proprietario ha lasciato x noi un ottima colazione. Pod un po' piccolo x 4 persone cmq carino e dotato di ogni comfort. Peccato che ha piovuto a dirotto tutto il giorno, la sera e la notte e non ci è stato possibile sfruttare l'esterno.

Peaceful and pretty location. Comfortable unit, everything in order and working. Breakfast provided, orange juice, yoghurt, most delicious soda bread with jam and butter. Altogether very cosy.

No arrival communication from the host, which resulted in a bit of a panic when finding out that the only visible pod was already occupied. No wi-fi password provided. When the host sent the password some hours later, it was spelled incorrectly (upper/lower case issue)

Muy cerca de la zona turística. El anfitrión muy amable, te dejan en la nevera leche fresca y otras cosas para el desayuno. El pan casero hecho por su madre estaba exquisito.

It was a cute cabin that was peaceful and pleasant. It had everything we needed for the night. I loved how when we left there were horses that sent us off. Also, the host was very responsive and accommodating as we had to book last minute.

It was like being in a nest

An error of text Pod 2 has the view unfortunately we were sent to it in error and had to go to Pod 1 with no view and it's darker but having said that both pods are equipped exactly the same and Pod 1 is really private making it feel like a tree house

Pod itself was small bit utilised well.

Entrance into area is steep and challenging on a car, the pod is located in a green area with high grass. Outdoor area not what's in the picture at all. Eircode is not accurate either so was looking for area for a bit. WiFi very poor also. Won't be going there again for sure. Expected a bit more for the price of it. Disappointing for sure.

The view is spectacular on Pod 2 and the location is surrounded with farms. Horses and sheep wandering around makes for an authentic experience. Fresh milk, yogurt and bread were nice surprises. Love that they allow pets.

The bed raises on the side edges and gets a bit uncomfortable. Price on the high side.

We were welcomed with fresh soda bread , milk, juice and homemade youghurt and muesli which we were very impressed with and also delighted that we had 2 induction hobs so we could cook if needs be!

To be fair as an older couple it was secluded and out of the way. It was hot and the door could not be left open due to nature being on the doorstep. Directions would have been handy.

WiFi password was not left. It would have been handy if a pack was left.

Tight for more than 2, but that was expected and happily we were able to be outside.

Leaving to go home

Peace and quiet, warm and cosy, super view. Fridge, microwave, induction hob, kettle, coffee machine, WiFi, radiator, shower all worked well. Breakfast supplies very welcome especially the delicious homemade bread. Excellent communication from friendly owner.

No sign on the road to the pods, follow "The Cottage" sign down a fairly steep gravel drive. Plenty of space space to park next to each pod. The induction hob and radiator take a little working out for anyone not familiar with them.

It’s a nice cozy pod, with a small bathroom, kitchen, and terrace in the front where you can enjoy beautiful Mountain View. There is everything what you need. On arrival we had left fresh soda bread with butter and jam, milk and juice in the fridge which was a nice surprise.

I liked everything there, the only thing is the fan in bathroom was not working but that didn’t affect my stay

The owner left us with welcome gifts such as loaf of soda bread with butter, bottle of orange and milk, coffee machine with coffee pods. Something someone would really appreciate.

This was a truly beautiful experience. The site was lovely. The host left us a lovely breakfast which was so thoughtful of her.

The surrounding area.

The smell of musty mould and how dirty the place is. It's full of broken furniture. Not maintained or cleaned well. Owner is in denial. How people are giving this property good reviews is very misleading.

Little piece of heaven. We stayed in pod 2 with our little boy and it was perfect. So clean and perfect size for us. We loved the little touches like the fresh brown bread and yoghurt. We cooked our own breakfast and dinner on one of the nights. Had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again.

Beautiful surroundings. Pod clean

Blind on window whole unit broken. Door blind need repairs. Hated that we couldn't sit out in the evenings as the whole patio area was covered in small flies which I thought at first were ants. Couldn't keep the door open as they were coming into the pod as well. Didn't meet the owners at all probably because we went out early and stayed out as late as possible until the children got tired, again because of the flies. I would have loved to be able to relax outside for a while as well.

Loved the peace and quiet of the location and the stunning views of both the ocean and the mountains. Place was spotless and the owner very kindly left some essentials including homemade brown bread 😍 there was a cottage and another hut on site but all were done in such a way you had total privacy. Great place if you want to get away from everything and recharge 🥰🥰
