the location

The bed was totally broken!!!!!!! It is unbelievable, it is shameful to rent a room where you have to put the mattress on the floor if you want to sleep. I have a picture and can prove that the net supporting the bed was completely missing, right in the middle and on at least 60 cm. I wrote to the hotel, the next day, requiring a refund. They had the cheek to answer that they were sorry but I was supposed to call a number (they have non staff on site) and complain at 11pm. It was too late, I needed to sleep, coz I woke up at 5.50 am, the next morning. I coudn't wait until they come and brought a new bed!

Das Check in und Check out sind sehr gut geführt. Die Empfangshalle ist sehr geräumig und farblich gut a gestimmt.

Die Lärmdämmung der Fenster zur Strasse hin ist ungenügend.

La chambre était sale, il y’avait des poils de personnes dans le bidet, la douche et sur le sol de la salle de bain

The view from the room and size of the room were great. It was easily accessible from the town centre and staff were helpful via email. The town was beautiful and we really enjoyed Neuchâtel as a destination.

The cleanliness of the room was poor. We stayed for 5 days and didn’t receive any new towels, toilet roll, bedding or any room supplies or house keeping. The insects were an issue for us (mosquitoes / wasps / flys) and the bedding wasn’t clean. It was difficult to communicate with other staff and those I did speak with over email were helpful but I didn’t see any staff during my entire stay. There was no fridge inside the room, no kettle or bathroom supplies. Also no air conditioning or alternative fan option despite our room being 25 degrees at night. The only vending machine was out of order meaning it was impossible to get food or drinks especially unless we went out. The finishings like paint were very chipped and not like the pictures. There was also a lot of loud noise at night we had to purchase earplugs to be able to sleep which was very inconvenient as we were working and needed sleep. The noise from the road was constant and extremely loud and we were not told about this prior to our stay.

Wir haben ein 3-Bett Zimmer reserviert, aber nur ein 2-Bett Zimmer erhalten. Bei einem der Betten war der Lattenrost gebrochen uns es fehlten einige Holzlatten. Wir musstem die Matratze auf den Boden legen zum schlafen. Wir kamen spät im Hotel an. Da es ein Self-Check-in Hotel ist, gab es kein Personal vor Ort. Einen Rabatt wollte das Hotel uns danach auch nicht geben.

The check-in was a real challenge. My legal name contains a "-" however that is not acceptable for the check in system. The prompts are poorly translated and difficult to understand as are the emails. It took a long time, and there are no staff in the evening, to navigate through the check-in process, worst-ever check-in!

Ich hatte einen achtbeinigen Mitbewohner in der Ecke. Das Badezimmer äusserte sich zudem nicht gerade als Wohlfühloase.

The instructions did not arrive until one day before my travel, and only after I called them. Same for the tourist card.

Sehr einfach ein und aus zu checken. Sauber, gute lage, hat alles was entsprochen war.

Als ich die Buchung über Booking.com vornahm, habe ich für zwei Gäste gebucht, aber aus irgendeinem Grund, sei es seitens des Hotels oder seitens Booking.com, wurde nur ein Gast gebucht. Nach langem Hin und Her mit Booking.com musste ich einen Aufpreis zahlen, um den zweiten Gast in das Zimmer buchen zu können. Das war sehr enttäuschend.

Sehr gute Lage, grosses Zimmer, Unkomplizierter Check-In, Kaffee-und Snackautomat, grosse Lounge, schöne Bilder im Zimmer.

Neben einem Bett lagen Krümel, das Bett hatte Flecken und Haare darauf. Das betraf aber nur eines von zwei Betten im selben Zimmer. Das zweite Bett war sauber. Verkehr hörbar.

The location is probably the only positive thing I can say about this place.

The rooms are old, have a weird smell, although the room was clean. The area is super noisy, with constant traffic and people, actually nonstop even during the night. Due to the season the room was very warm, no airconditioning I knew, but there wasn’t even a fan in the room. Very uncomfortable pillows. And the vending machine didn’t really have a good selection with some items sold out. And finding an affordable parking is a big challenge too.

The primary advantages of this accommodation are its central location and highly competitive price. The surrounding area feels safe, making it a practical base for getting around.

The room lacked fundamental necessities, omitting basic items like a water jug or a drinking cup. Furthermore, the website's promotional photos are slightly misleading; they portray a bright space, whereas the actual interior is notably dark and dated.

Location is perfect as very close to the centre and to the bus station, sadly, this is the only good thing of this hotel.

Breakfast is not served; there are only vending machines available. The Wi-Fi connection was also extremely slow, which was particularly unpleasant for me as I needed to work from my room. However, my biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. I found what appeared to be a NEST OF MIDGES in the room, a brown stain on the toilet door, and a very yellow and visibly dirty shower curtain that I felt uncomfortable even touching. The bathroom vent was also completely yellow, and it did not work at all. To be fair, the floor was clean and the bedroom itself did not smell bad. However, these other issues are simply unacceptable for a hotel charging around €100 per night. In my opinion, basic cleanliness and functioning facilities should be a minimum at this price.

J’ai réservé initialement une chambre double. À mon arrivée je me suis rendue compte que la chambre n’a pas été nettoyé après la sortie du client précédent. Il y avait encore la poubelle toute pleine, les serviettes humides, le lit défait. J’ai appelé la réception suite à quoi on m’a changé de chambre, vers une chambre simple. On m’avait dit qu’on devrait me rembourser la différence si je leur envoie un mail avec les photos. Ce que j’ai fait, mais je n’ai reçu aucune réponse de leur part jusqu’à présent.

Der Frühstückskaffee sehr willkommen, aber ohne Croissant triste.

Elektroanschluss für Ladekabel bei Nachttisch oder mindestens beim Tischchen fehlt, wäre aber praktisch für Computer und Geräte Laden. Ich habe dann eine Buchse gefunden am Boden hinter dem Kasten, den 2. im Badezimmer und beide gebraucht.

No habia desayuno. La ubicacion ok.

La cama incomoda, no habia recogida de basura diaria, la ducha mal, poco caudal, las almohadas y el edredon olian a usado, la maquina para cafe dificil de manejar y sin poder tomar nada, no habia un espacio cerrado de consigna para dejar la maleta antes de salir de viaje, la cama no se hacia a diario y las toallas tampoco se cambiaban a diario, poca higiene en habitaciones.

Der Duschvorhang war voller Schimmel, auch in der Wand konnte man den Schimmel aus der Wasserleitung sehen, welcher durchdrückte... Zudem hatte es noch diverse Haare von den Vorgänger im Bad...

Chambre sympathique, bien équipée. Le frigo aurait été un plus.

Le matelas du lit était mou et déformé (comme un trou).

La posizione sicuramente ottima: veramente vicino al centro, ai parcheggi, ai mezzi di superficie ed anche alla stazione dei treni. Carino il fatto che avevamo il nostro balconcino.

Abbiamo avuto una stanza con la Moquette (..) la WiFi non era costante (per lavoro mi serviva stabile). Diciamo un pò datato ma i bagni nuovi e con tutti i confort.

Buenisima cada que vengo a reuniones de trabajo me siento cómoda

Im Zimmer gab es nicht einmal Seife zum Händewaschen. Ausserdem lag das Zimmer direkt an der Strasse. Da es sehr heiss war, musste das Fenster offen bleiben. Wegen der Hitze und des Lärms konnte ich nicht schlafen. Der Ventilator im Zimmer war unter diesen Umständen völlig unzureichend. Ich empfehle diese Unterkunft nur, wenn man in der Umgebung keine andere Möglichkeit findet, und auch dann nur für einen sehr kurzen Aufenthalt. Für mich wäre sie lediglich die fünfte Wahl unter fünf verfügbaren Unterkünften.

Manque d'insonorisation, route bruyante en dessous, équipement vetuste et laissé cassé en l'état, absence complète d'équipement (pas même un gobelet pour la brosse à dents).

Bâtiment dans un état de délabrement avancé, chambre sans prises de courant, sans équipements, sans même un gobelet, ne cherchait pas de couverture ou d'oreiller supplémentaires, le coffre de la chambre ne fonctionne pas

C'est plutôt basique

Wenn man 60 CHF für eine Nacht bezahlt, dann kann man nicht viel erwarten. Der self checkin (keine Personen vor Ort) hat problemlos funktioniert. Es hat einen Automaten für das nötigste (Getränke, Snacks).

Es ist schon alles sehr alt und benötigt eine auffrischung inkl. Betten und Badezimmer, WLAN ist ok aber nicht mehr. Wie gesagt für 60 CHF akzeptabel und daher ist Preis Leistung ok.

Aucun contact avec le personnel. En cas de problème lors du check-in, personne n’est disponible pour nous aider. Pendant trois jours : aucun nettoyage de la chambre, aucune aération et aucun changement de serviettes. Le lit était très inconfortable, avec des lattes cassées au milieu. Une expérience vraiment décevante. Bref, à fuir !

L'emplacement est très bien (entre la gare et le centre), la taille de la chambre pour une personne seule et largement suffisante. La literie est OK. Le prix défie toute concurrence.

La salle de bain était dans un état scandaleux : évier et sol non nettoyé, avec un sceau d'eau sale et un linge de toilette par terre. Pourtant il y avait bien des linges de toilette propres et le lit avait été fait. Comme il n'y a personne à l'accueil, impossible de demander le nettoyage ou de changer de chambre. Pas de réponse par tél. ni mail. Dans la douche, il n'y a qu'un robinet pour ouvrir l'eau, pas de possibilité d'ajuster la température. Donc le soir c'était à peu près chaud mais le matin c'était entre tiède et froid. Le self checking fonctionne bien mais ce n'est franchement pas agréable d'arriver dans un hôtel fantôme. J'avais fréquenté plusieurs fois cet hôtel auparavant et c'est pourquoi j'ai réservé à nouveau sans tenir compte de sa faible note, mais je n'y retournerai plus !

Self Checking ist halt Self Checking. Insbesondere weil die Karte für das Zimmer nicht ging. Habe dann eine andere genommen und das hat geklappt.
