Bylo to strašné. Po prohlídce pokoje jsme se otočily na podpatku a velmi rychle ubytování opustily.

Všechno. Všude nepořádek, komáři, postel tak špinavá, že bych si na ni nepoložila ani batoh.

Il personale era gentilissimo, sempre disponibile e sorridente. Davvero apprezzato.

Nos hemos sentido como en casa desde el primer día. Y ya echamos de menos a todo el staff y a la gente que hemos conocido ❤️ Nos dejaron hacer check-in antes de tiempo, nos ayudaron a reservar un tuk tuk de ida a último minuto (literalmente estábamos llegando al puerto cuando comenzó a diluviar y en 2 minutos estuvo gestionado). La primera noche Shasha (Charbel) nos llevó a ver el plancton luminiscente con otra pareja súper agradable. La playa, el plancton luminiscente y el nestival están a menos de 5 minutos caminando. Dentro del hotel hay una clínica + farmacia que la lleva la médico de la isla. Suuuper conveniente, me fue genial cuando se me infectó una picada y en 5 minutos la médico me vio - sin cobrarme - y me vendió una pomada antibiótica corticoide. Una pasada. Además Charbel está aplicando miles de cambios: han creado una zona chillout, organizan actividades para que conozcas a la gente del hostel, han mejorado el "Jungle gym" y la joya de la corona, en nada tendrán el mejor restaurante de la isla!!! Tuvimos la oportunidad de ser los conejillos de indias, y disfrutamos como hacía tiempo que no lo hacíamos!! Charbel además nos enseñó a cocinar pan de pita desde cero, hicimos un mini taller de baile, fuimos juntos al nestival y echamos todas las tardes charlando como si nos conociéramos de toda la vida!! Set es el otro chico que trabaja aquí, es un auténtico sol y hace un café increíble!! (nada de café soluble, cafe recién molido) Charbel también nos ayudó a organizar una ruta por la isla en moto que nos encantó! Definitivamente nos hubiésemos perdido muchas cosas si no hubiésemos dado con él. También puedes alquilar moto en el hostel al precio estándar de la isla (10$) y no te piden pasaporte como reserva ni dinero extra. Las habitaciones están muy limpias, el aire acondicionado funciona de maravilla y el ambiente es genial.

Ha sido una de las mejores experiencias en el SEA por el momento. Lo único que mejoraría es añadir algún colgador para ropa / toallas o algún perchero. Pero ya nos dijeron que estaban en ello y pronto los pondrían, así que no hay mucho más que se le pueda decir a este lugar.

Fat Monkey was a fabulous stay just under 5 minutes from the beach and Nestival, many different types of restaurants around, as well as a shop and pharmacy next door! All the staff were extremely welcoming and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed playing games most nights and many activities available such as pizza making. The hostel was clean and just as seen in photos, and even though it is social it is not loud so you will have no trouble sleeping.

Nothing it was a brilliant stay for a great price.

De sociale sfeer in het hostel. De host Charbel doet zijn best om regelmatig activiteiten zoals een filmavond, spelletjesavond of samen koken te organiseren.

J’ai passé un super séjour dans cette auberge. On s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise, presque comme à la maison. L’ambiance est vraiment chaleureuse et le personnel, notamment Seth et Charbel, est aux petits soins, toujours gentil et disponible. Le petit-déjeuner offert est un vrai plus. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Sometimes too cold in the room but the aircon remote isn’t kept in the room so you need to ask reception for it

Preis ist mit Frühstück Inklusive und damit für die Insel echt top. Betten sind sauber und echt bequem...hab selten in einem hostel so gut geschlafen!

The staff/owner was so so hospitable! Always greeted you and was clearly happy to have you stay :) helped with both of our HEAVY luggage and gave advice on travel. The rooms were very cool and large spacious beds. Amazing location especially if you plan on attending nestival. And nearby to some nice food spots (as well as the beach obvs haha)

The rooms were almost too cold (shared accommodation so people change the ac temp), wear layers! Also as you’re basically in the jungle there are a lot of bugs and wildlife. No fault to the establishment of course. But the toilets/showers are outside so bugs are rampant. This may have been more of an issue as we were there at the start of rainy season (stormed every night) but just something to be aware of.

La posizione è perfetta, a 5 minuti dalla spiaggia, e attaccato al Nest, che è il certo delle feste e delle attività (come il Nestival)

La pulizia dei bagni non era il massimo, la pavimentazione della stanza non delle migliori e l'aria condizionata che rende l'ambiente freddo di notte.

Reception staff were very nice.

I booked this hostel for 4 nights and checked out after one. I felt incredibly unsafe in this property. I was a solo female traveller and felt very uncomfortable here. In the evening there were about 10 local men sat in reception who all stared at me, cat called me and approached me. There were no locks on the dorm rooms and wifi did not work in the rooms so I felt very unsafe. I didn’t get my money back from the 3 nights I had also booked but was worth it just to get out of the property. Other than that, this hostel had very basic facilities, the AC leaked in the room. No hot water in the showers. Very expensive for what it is and has no social side.

This was my first experience of staying in a hostel, and I am incredibly happy! 2 minutes to the sea, on the territory of the hostel there is a bar and a kitchen, a comfortable recreation / waiting area if you arrive long before check-in. there is everything you need for a vacation! but the most important thing is the people who work in the hostel and do everything possible to make it unforgettable! thank you for your responsiveness, kindness and the mood you gave me! cool place and cool people!) hugs everyone, and I will miss you 😋 wish you many grateful guests, because you are truly doing a big job! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The location of the hostel was just perfect 3 mins away from a nice beach with some restaurants but still calm. It’s also not far away from nestival, so it’s the perfect mixture. The staff of the hostel was so nice and helped us where they could. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Solid hostel. Small bit awkward to get too. Basic facilities with ongoing construction. No lockers for rucksacks in dorms. Okay value for money.

Nice place to stay nearby the best places in Koh Rong. Close to the beautiful beach, party hostels, the town, the port - everything within walking distance. The beds were comfy and private, AC working during the night and morning. Be prepared for bugs outside at the bathroom sinks. One of the best budget options to stay in Koh Rong in my opinion.

Perfect location, fresh and a pleasant atmosphere. Julie and her crew gladly helped us with everything we needed.

The owner was kind and very attentive, always ready to listen when needed. Her husband even accompanied us to our next destination. No comments on cleanliness, everything was ok A warm welcome and good food, even if not everything is available yet. This hostel is already great and will only get better in the future once everything is in place. I highly recommend it :)
