Le logement est vieillissant de mauvaise qualité la literie est dramatique dire et le sommier est une planche il y a une très mauvaise odeur de vieux dans l appartement Les meubles sont passés et d un autre temps La cuisine tombe en décrépitude, l évier est usé, les tiroirs sont cases 1 bouteille d eau pour 4 en guise d Accueil un dimanche De la vaisselle basique mais surtout non fonctionnelle et plus que réduite Pas de boîte hermétique Pas de sopalin ou aluminium Un mini table de jardin sur la terrasse avec 4 chaises inconfortables Une piscine vieillotte avec des pavés mal entretenus et qui ne font pas nets Et aucune possibilité de chaises longues autour Les photos ne reflètent pas l air chargé d une odeur de vieux ni la qualité très médiocre de l entretien de l immeuble Un couloir d accueil dans la partie commune pas Accueillant, bordélique Ne surtout pas faire le restaurant à l étage près de la plage… vins imbuvable, pizza immonde et immangeable

Malgré la gentillesse de Jimmy, nous avons rencontré 2 problèmes : Il s'agit de la mauvaise odeur des serviettes de toilette, dès la 1ère douche, mais Jimmy nous a expliqué que le linge était lavé à l'eau froide (les machines ayant une arrivée d'eau chaude étant trop chères à l'achat). Il nous a donné d'autres serviettes mais le problème était le même bien sûr. Mieux vaut le savoir et prévoir d'apporter les siennes. La salle de bain est dans son jus et les joints de la douche sont très encrassés, pas très agréable mais bon.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Emplacement, plages a proximité, proche des routes principales, endroit à l'écart, tres calme. La piscine est un plus pour moi voyageant en famille avec enfants. Appart grand, 2 chambres et 2 salles d'eaux. Cuisine équipée. Le propriétaire, présent le matin, a pu nous proposer d'autres services (excursions, change..). Nous le remercions encore pour le siège enfant, non prévu, qu'il a pu nous fournir.
Pour nous, matelat et oreiller trop dur, on est habitué à moins ferme chez nous. Immeuble ayant au moins 20 ans si je ne me trompe pas, une peinture lui ferait du bien, les nouveaux propriétaires sont en train de le rafraichir au fur et à mesure. Les rideaux sont assez épais, ils sont bien pour l'intimité mais dans le salon, en été, ils ne laissent pas l'air entrer et il fait chaud, il faudrait en plus, des rideaux plus fin pour la journée. Cuisine complète mais dans l'appart il nous manquait des allumettes ou briquet a notre arrivée pour la cuisinière, elle est equipée d'un feu électrique du coup ça nous a dépanné le temps d'acheter un briquet (je suis sûr que Jimmy nous aurait dépanné si nous lui avions parlé de ça). Parking présent mais sous forme de couloir, il faut s'arranger avec les autres vacanciers, il ya des places devant la résidence dans la rue, ça m'angoissait au début mais c'est vraiment une rue très calme (toutes les maisons de la rue sont équipées alarmes et caméras). Conclusion : ce que nous avons relevés en moins appréciables sont nos suggestions d'améliorations, nous y reviendrons certainement pour voir l'évolution.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025La résidence et les alentours sont calmes. Sa situation géographique nous convenait parfaitement (nous étions véhiculé). Le logement est spacieux : une grande pièce à vivre / 2 grandes chambres avec dans chacune, une salle d'eau/WC. La piscine est sécurisée par des barrières. Petites attentions qui ont été relevées : une bouteille d'eau fraîche et des sachets de thé ont été mis à disposition pour notre arrivée. Les hôtes Karine et Jimmy ont toujours répondu lorsque je les sollicitais sur Booking.
Le logement pourrait être amélioré et mis au goût du jour : des coussins plus confortables dans les fauteuils par exemple ; le mobilier et certains équipements (support des pommeaux de douche et climatisation dans la chambre des enfants) sont en état d'usure et mériteraient d'être changés.

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig in der 2. Querstrasse zum Strand. Es gibt so gut wie keine wilde Hunde in Mont Choisy. Das liegt wahrscheinlich an der gehobenen Lage - Villen und Apartmenthouse. Der Strand Mont Choisy ist wunderschön und nahe gelegen, am Wochenende kommen sehr viele Einheimische an den Strand um zu picknicken und Feiern, dass ist allgemein üblich auf Mauritius habe ich an anderen öffentlichen Stränden ebenfalls bemerkt
Leider ist kein vernünftiger Supermarkt in der Nähe und der Obsthändler verlangt horrende Preise wie in Deutschland bzw. Schweiz. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 2.5 km im nächsten Ort zu finden und mit dem Lokalbus erreichbar.

Dirty! Bad smelt in the flat. Shit of mouses in the kitchen. Ants everywhere. Resident pigons in the balcony and big quantity of their shit. Mattresses dirty with big staines of (maybe) piss. Bathrooms dirty and bad smelt. We had to clean the kitchen and bathroom before to use it.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2025Very Comfortable, clean, spacious secure apartment. Very close to 2 beautiful beaches (Mont Choisy and Trou-Aux-Biches) in a lovely quite safe neighbourhood. Amazing and very attentive hosts Jimmy and Katrine. Great for those with a rental car and also those without like myslef… Bus stop to take you to Grand Baie and Port Louis (pay conductor on bus who comes to you directly in cash…small notes under 200 only and coins) Cost is about 24 rupees for a couple of stops to Trou-aux-Biches (or walk 20 min) and about 45 rupees to Port Louis…mega bargain! And a cool experience. Big lovely Supermarket is in Trou-Aux-Biches “Chez Popo GSR” Great for couples and families with children. Beautiful atmosphere made greater with super hosts and amazing value for money. Merci Jimmy et Katrine :)

Very pleasant check-in and careful management, very comfortable and clean flats, walking distance from Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches beaches and in a very peaceful and silent area. I have stayed already three times here, and will definiteyl come back everytime I am in the North of the island. My favourite!

Appartment extremely spacious, very clean and well equipped except for a hair dryer- much needed when you're close to the beach -:) The Appartment is close of lovely beaches particularly 'Trou aux Biches" . Also close to convenient store and further a nice supermarket.
Not easy to find for taxis: Need to mention that the guest house is few streets from the coastal road No reception desk or at least a bell at the outdoor gate but the host lives very close. The kitchen sink needs improvement.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2024The apartment was amazingly spacious and nice (bedroom + sitting room + kitchen + dining + bathroom + balcony). It was so well furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host, Jimmy was very helpful and even picked me up for free to the apartment twice. He was always available to help with anything I needed at the house. The apartment was also close to the beach and restaurants. I had a great time staying there.
The power went off for about half a day, and I couldn't charge my devices or get my food heated during those hours.

Reviewed Nov 18, 2024Security was good. Jimmy was very flexible with check in and check out. Very good apartment, excellent value for money. Location was near to Mon Choisy beach, just a 10 minute walk. The beach is beautiful. Trou aux Biches was also close by.
The area doesn't really have anything at nighttime. No street food or supermarkets/ convenience stores in the immediate area so I had to eat at restaurants in the evening which were aimed at tourists. There are a decent amount, but not my thing.

No bedside lamps in both rooms. No air-conditioning in 1 room. No hot water for shower. No blanket. No iron. Kettle had lots of limescale, very old. Sink in kitchen tatty n old. Not much light in the kitchen. Apartment door handle very loose. 1 toilet was stinking so bad we couldn't use. Very limited plug sockets. We left 1 day early coz of the conditions of the apartments.
