Sanat var helt utroligt gæstfri og imødekommende. Vi var der ikke så lang tid, men fik et rigtig fint indtryk af stedet

Die Unterkunft war zweckmässig und unsere Familie fühlte sich sehr wohl. Der Gastgeber Sanath kümmerte sich sehr gut um uns. Seine Frau kochte uns zwei mal curry und er fuhr uns zuei em Ausflug. Die Unterkunft ist nahe am Strand (300m). Weligama eignet sich gut um erste Erfahrungen im Surfen zu machen. Die Unterkunft hat ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis

The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a supply of washing powder for our convenience. It had a very spacious balcony. It had a separate entrance. The host, Sanath, was superb. To help us along, he even provided our first breakfast and cooked our first dinner at that apartment and also provided us withfruits. He also helped us with bicycle rentals at a reasonable price. Dropped us off at train station when the tuk-tuk didn't show up. We couldn't ask for more, really.

- Sana is the owner and provided us with everything we needed. His Rotis were delicious and he was always attentive to our requests. - The location is not far from the beach so perfect access to everywhere. - The guesthouse we were given was quiet away from the main road so this is a massive plus for me.

The host!!

What a lovely welcoming man Sana is. This was our perfect stay for our family 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 9). Facilities were basic but sufficient, plenty of space for us to move around and aircon in rooms was great. Good location a few minutes walk from the beach and 15mins from the main part. Washington machine was a bonus.

We liked everything and Sana was so nice. Just a few little bits which can make it even better. The key situation was a little confusing as we had 3 sets of keys. One for each room and then for the apartment. Would be better to somehow make as one set. Bathroom sink was a little loose and just needs screwing back to wall. But honestly these are such minor things.

very clean, good location, has everything you need

This is the great place to stay. First of all, here all that you need: 2 rooms, kitchen, washmashine. Beach is only in 200 meters, so you walked by foot to it around 2 minutes. Very silent at night. And especially I should thanks the owner. His kindness and hospitality are incredible. He solved our unexpected problems, helps with bikes rent and also gave us very delicious pancake. If you wanna stay at Weligamma this place should be the only choice!

Nice two bedroom appartment with an incredibly helpful owner. Great to have a washing machine and a big fridge. Great location as we visited 3 other beaches by tuk tuk for between 500-1000 rupees depending on the distance. Bank of Ceylon ATM which didn’t charge me 2 minutes away. Western breakfast place very close towards town and nice more traditional restaurants going away from town.

There’s a bit of road noise at the front but you can’t hear it in the sitting room

Comfortable, clean and a great location in weligama! Sanath was a very friendly and kind host and made great curries for us for lunch one day. We had a great stay!

Amazing private outdoor terrace area to lounge in, eat, drink and be happy. Watch the birds and squirrels playing in the trees.

Spacious place with a terrace more than enough for a couple. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again. Sana is a great host, who was very helpful. 🖤

Firstly, absolutely everything! About the space: large, comfortable apartment with outdoor and indoor seating areas, little kitchen and washing machine and ironing functions. A bigger and nicer space than hotels ten times the price. Air conditioning in both rooms worked great as well as fans everywhere. About the host: he will do anything for you and clearly is passionate about hosting people. We felt more like visiting family members than paying guests.he even made us breakfast and dinner just as a treat (and they were delicious). Super polite and helpful. I wish more people were like this.

The beds were a little short for my long legs (but I still slept fine!)

We a friend group of 4 booked this place. The owner was very kind and even made us some snacks. The place was great, it had a huge terrace, perfect to chill and you could also do your own laundry. If you also want to have an excellent experience in Weligama, i would definitely recomend this stay. Just great

We stayed one week, everything was perfect and clean. Sanath has been a wonderful and very friendly host. We very much enjoyed the outside terrace which is huge. We wished we could spend more time here !

Sana was a great host

This place has a great location, it is clean, AC and wifi working well and we really appreciated the washing maschine. The only thing we didnt like was bathroom which was really hot. Other than that, this place is very nice and is a good value for money.

We got to apartment at 04:00 o’clock, and the check in was at 12:00. We called the owner, a super super nice guy, who answered quickly and opened the us the door of the other apartment he have. Right when he saw us with all of the bags, he invited us to get in for a until the check in, so that we could take a shower and sleep after our long flight. He also offered us a tea and coffee, and brought us ever we need. After we did the check in, we had a problem with one of the bikes we rented, and he saw us trying to fix it ourselves and immediately offered sime help, brought his tools and got to work. Of course he did everything with a big smile and a lot off love and kindness. About the apartment, it was great, big and comfortable, everything worked amazing, it was clean and nice. very good air conditioning, fans, with great wifi and great parking, and a big balcony The location was good, not on the main street and area so we didn’t had a lot of traffic and noise. We really recommend!!!

Nothing!

Close to the ocean. Everything you need for cooking is here: stove, frige, plates etc. Amazing veranda! Sanath is very kind and hospitable person! He helped in every situation.

People who sensitive to a noise should be aware nearby road.

Sana was so helpful and friendly. He gave the kids fresh fruits and homemade pancakes. He was genuinely nice & interested in our travels. The accommodation was good, the balcony was an added bonus, that we enjoyed in the evening.

One of the bedroom doors was heavy to open, which was hard work for the kids & kind of annoying. A very minor issue.

Host was really helpful and a great guy to have a conversation with. House is really near to the shore and all the shops.

The street near the house is kind of noisy.
