Bohol Vantage Resort

The view was amazing

It has a lot of steps so if you’re in bad shape the lower rooms will require you to climb 4-5 flights of stairs

Location offers fantastic ocean view. Very quiet. Nice restaurant on premises. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Walking the stairs.

The view from the room and restaurant were beautiful! It was nice to have a large balcony for relaxing and allowing our water gear to dry

This place is central to a lot of places but not really in walking distance to much. Not an issue for us, except sometimes it was tricky to find a grab for a ride to our activities.

The view and hospitality

Nothing it was great

Amazing view, best view of the island by far. Absolutely breathtaking. And the pizza is actually really good, I say this as an American who’s usually bummed by the “pizza” in other countries.

Just be aware, there will be difficulties getting a Grab or taxi. It’s a bit out of the way and remote so drivers don’t really wana pick you up or drop you off.

The view is the only good thing in the property

1) During checkin you suffer cause the Card machine is not reaching internet and it’s not working properly for payments. So they are pushing you to make cash payment. 2) the room given is extremely horrible, since the bathroom water is not working and when I reported the issue they said it they can only send someone tomorrow morning. So we had to wait for next day and when the cold water was was fine the sink started leaking the whole day. Tried to I 3) the breakfast had very limited choices.

ROOM AND BALCONY

TOO MANY STEPS.

Everything is breath taking! I love it

The water pressure. The shower did not turn on , we had to take a shower near the pool! But it was still fun!

Acceuil très sympathique Bon restaurant Très belle vue

Piscine petite

The view itself. Room is incredible

N/a

Big room nice big bed great food there breakfast awesome so much good food staff was great

It was a little far away from things but Maxim and grab was not really a big problem.

The views

Shower kept going cold and having to turn hot water system back on

The rooms were so nice, and the pool was stunning. They staff were very helpful and arranged transport, scooters for us. The breakfast and food was so tasty!

The overlooking view

Nothing to say

Beautiful view, huge rooms with comfortable beds. It felt like home. The food and service are top notch. Great beach for a morning walk or swim. The resort is in a quiet location which was perfect for us. We had scooters so it was easy to get around.

No complaints. Anything we needed was taken care of.

The view from the restaurant and the excellent food. Great pizza, spaghetti carbonara, and other dishes. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Dirty window that needs to be wiped. Dusty closet.

wonderful views from spacious rooms. Nice to have a big balcony to relax and take in the sunset . Staff were very kind and helpful in arranging what was needed . excellent high speed wifi enabling streaming etc. peaceful location as you are far from town -nice to return to after hustling and bustling in panglao

you are in a pretty remote area ' up in the hills' so independent transport requires a taxi always.

Rien

The picturesque scenery.

Aussicht Bett

Wonderful views

Room wasn’t the one advertised

Great views of the bay and city Room was spacious and very comfortable Staff were so helpful and accommodating

None

Breakfast was lovely, decent portion and choices available were good. Room was a decent size with a separate bedroom which i requested and they were able to accommodate which i appreciated.

restaurant service when we arrived for lunch. lunch service was meant to start at 12pm but the chef was no where to be seen and took age which was disappointing as we were all hungry after arriving, so this immediately was a negative impact. The cleanliness of the pool was poor. there were dead tadpoles inside one of the wall holes and chlorine tablets in the pool, which you don't expect to see, certainly haven't seen it anywhere else I've stayed

Beautiful Panasonic views from the room and restaurants.

Short staffed, spiral downstairs access to your room (no elevator), very weak wifi, boring place, no night life anywhere near the hotel, bed by 7pm. Lol!!

A big thank you to all the wonderful staff at Bohol Vantage Resort for taking such great care of us during our holiday. Your kindness and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. We felt so welcome and relaxed the entire time. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back again!

The WiFi network really bad and pool need to maintain need someone to look after properly.

The view, hammock and outdoor patio was good.

I didn't like the fact they had so many rules. I didn't like that the photos didn't match the place. I didn't like that the power kept going out, sometimes up2 an hour. I didn't like the food. It tasted like it was all microwave frozen food. I didn't like the customer service it wasn't inviting or Friendly. I definitely didn't like that they had crusty 20 year old towels. We booked a room with 2 beds and got one. And then when we asked about the 2nd bed we were met with anger. It was so bad we stayed 1 night out of 4. The channels on all the tv were locked. Literally had 3 channels. The swim up bar is non existent. Air con absolutely filthy. I wish I could upload my video of the place. Not just pictures. I'm unsure how this place is rated 8.5. it should be 3 at best. That bad I decided to abandon the 800$ aud I spent on the stay for my family.

The view and the food was delicious

The main rooms don’t have AC and the bar was a hit and miss for snacks and food available

The view is amazing. Looking over Tagbilaran and main Bohol.

The pool was clean but deteriorating.

very nice place, with a beautiful view, I recommend it

Super nice view. Kitchenette could have more stuff, but management always provides assistance with needs.

was brilliant from the staff,Belle,Donna,Ivy,Yessa,Kesya and everyone very helpful! food is very nice everyone loves the breakfast its worth the money our trip! highly recommended

Amazing place! We love everything here! Views just breathtaking, couldn't have enough of it. Awesome pool with stunning views as well and great area around. Delicious breakfast, really big and in beautiful restaurant with another amazing views. A bit far away from everything, but grab is cheap or you can rent a scooter so all good 😊 We had really great time, thank you so much! Nice stuff, very helpful, clean rooms really good standard, all what you need and comfortable beds ❤️ Thank you!

Only that it was a bit far from beaches and town, but exactly this is making this place beautiful ❤️ so can't find really anything else bad here.

- Friendly staff - Magnificent view from the balcony as well as from the dining area - Comfortable and very big bed - Good breakfast - A lot of storage room - Big bathroom

- Nice little pool which was unfortunately way too cool - The room was relatively small - The siting possibilities (chair and hammock) on the balcony were very unconfortable - The room was not soundproof at all. You hear a lot of noise from the corridors and the roosters nerarby - At breakfast you had to clarify each item that was included in the menu individually, otherwise you only received half

Overall, the property was an excellent choice with an overlooking Bohol view both Panglao and Tagbilaran. Staffs were all accommodating and kind. We also manage to change our room with the help of the staff when we arrived.

Just a piece of suggestion to some of our experiences. If elevator is not feasible, at least make a ramp instead of stairs this will be helpful for seniors citizens. Foods were good, however, foods for sharing should also be available aside from the barkada set menu, this will give more choice to the guests. Consistency with the servings especially for breakfast. During the first BF aside from the silog meals, they also served us bread and butter and watermelon, the second BF, the added salad which was not served on the first BF. And on the third BF, they added salad with olive oil and a jam. These are just suggestions for improvement but overall it was an excellent stay.

The overlooking view

Nothing

The panoramic view, the huge room and the staff

The maintenance of the room, some of the tiles are already crack, showerhead need to change. The Doorknob is too rusty.

Extra large suite had a large terrace with beautiful views. The room was spacious and very clean.

Our sliding door was broken and couldn't lock.

We booked a few rooms and all of them seemed to have different problems. One had a leak in the bathroom, another had bed bugs, another seemed to not have been cleaned properly prior to us checking in. The staff was nice enough but offered no help for any of our issues.

They improved from my last visit which is good. The family room was really nice for families if you have kids. Cozy and you can cook your own food. Have all the equipment you might need. Spacious room. The buffet on Saturday was good for breakfast. (Eat what you can or you will be charge per 200g I think. Which is good. People tend to waste food and get what they can't even finish.) Normal breakfast in the morning is also good. The food menu is delicious and we love Cordon bleu soft not like last time a bit hard. So far our stay was awesome. We didn't manage to check out the pool as we are so busy snorkeling around Bohol. They also have complimentary snacks and water on our arrival. The staff is also very nice.

The room needs to be cleaned a bit more. They forget the other guest towel back of the door of our room. I need to ask for a refill of the shower soap. The cabinet of the kitchen smells bad because of the storage smell. Improvement or repairs on old hardware/ rusty in the toilet must look out for. But so far we enjoy our stay

The Hotel is situated on a mountain top, you'll have a great view of Tagbilaran and Panglao City. The food was made thoughtfully and with love--it tastes really good. The hotel employees were corteous and accomodating, specially Ivy, Kisha and the other lady at the front desk. I loved that it was quiet, since it's far from the neighboring hotels, hot water works, there were 2 TVs in our room-- the other TV works, the other, didn't. There were kitchen appliances in our room, and we could cook if we wanted, but since we were on vacation--why "work'? Haha food tasted good at their restaurant, anyways, so we just ordered everything during our stay. Their buffet breakfast was so good, as well. - great food selection 🤌

Nothing the hotel management can control -- some neighbors with their loud bluetooth speakers and their bad taste in music. Although this occurred on the last night of our stay, but still... It was unethical and annoying.

I like the room so spacious but the kitchen stuff not working

No lift

The views are amazing.

I can't blame the staff - they tried. However it was obvious to me that they are worked under duress. The owner is clearly out to make every last dollar and pay the staff as little as he can. My guess is on job training cadets made up the majority of the staff.

Lovely quiet location with an unbeatable view. Generous breakfasts, great service.

All the staff are kind, approachable and helpful. The room is clean. Has an overlooking view.

The heater shower is not fully functional.

Nice views but a bit out of the way from everything

Pool needs updating

The room with big balcony is so amazing.

The roof top cafe is closed at 11pm when we just arrive there.

What I love most when I stay the resort was the place itself very cozy and clean, the genuine staff and their food. The place is a perfect gateway for my trip in bohol. Very accessible when you doing your tour in the city.

None. The place was so perfect

Hotel has a nice view. That's about the only positive thing I can say.

I ended up staying 8 nights here after I fell down the stairs and twisted both ankles. They have a spiral staircase from the lobby down to the rooms and on the inside of the staircase there's no step. Literally a fall to your death type scenario. The reception closes at 10pm and all lights are turned off. If you come back to the hotel late you find yourself wondering around in the dark, with steps everywhere and a spiral staircase and I stepped down on it wrong and fell. Very dangerous and I couldn't walk for a number of days. They told me I should watch my step; well I would watch my step if they had a light turned on and weren't trying to save 50 peso a month on the electricity bill. Food from the restaurant is the most disappointing food I've ever had in my life. I was stuck eating it for days being unable to walk. I don't even know how to explain how bad it is. There's a serious mosquito and insect problem on the balconies. The mosquitos will pick you up and carry you away. So bring repellent. They will also get into the room unless you stick a towel under the door. Wifi only worked half the time. And stopped working for 3 days at one point. Luckily I could use my mobile data to work. Cleaning staff ignore the do not disturb sign and knock and come in anyway. Reception is often unattended even during the day and nobody answers the phone. I saw the same 3 or 4 people the entire stay which let's me think the place is run in a very minimal way. Upon checking out their credit card machine was broken. They tried it 3 times with "connection failure". So I had to set up a bank transfer to pay the hotel. Yeah no joke. You can't make this stuff up. If you have expectations of quality and service, as I do. I'd strongly recommend considering other options.

The view from the pool and balcony was beautiful. The room was really clean. The staff was very helpful.

The view is awesome, waking up in the morning with this view it is really breathtaking. Staff also are very friendly and approachable, the room is clean very time we are back in the hotel.

The pool somehow is not clean, specially on the sides as it stains your body and swimsuit. Bathroom shower, the water is very slow. Looking at the number of guest in the room, somehow 1 bathroom is not enough, there should be another toilet area in the room.

The view was great with some rooms with sea view and spacious terraces, room was clean

Property is quite old, allocation of the bed is not good as it blocks the exit to the terrace, food was ok

I like the food, the staff are very accomodating and superb!

The views were fabulous, and the rooms were sizable, clean, and comfortable.

The food was salt, but otherwise, ok. The breakfast menu was fixed, so there was little variety after a few days. The location was a little out of the way, but the views compensated.

The view was amazing., The room is big and nice balcony overlooking the bridge. The staff in general is nice. You need to have a car to go here. The vicinity is nice. But need to improve on decorations, rearranging some stuff in the lobby and reception. Seems alot is outdated. The hotel look old. The food okay and large portion. The pool have nice view too.

We arrived before dinner. We pay for one night. The old guy in charge at the front desk didn't give our change, intentionally. It's just few hundreds, and we stand there waiting, we just let it go. Because we so tired coz he left the desk. Take note that there's additional tax and fees plus your booking. No food provided in room or even snack or drink. Parking should have some lines coz other car take two lanes and have limited parking. Salad in the morning need to change. It will be great just make it Caesar salad and half of the portion they serve. Salad is not good and huge portion and wasted

Firstly overall impression On PANORAMA Street...views outstanding. Gated, secure community. Simple decor matching garden-like feeling. Very, very comfortable mattress. Unique INFINITY pool, sun terraces, backed up by substantial breakfast, plus restaurant and bar. All at hand. Lazy man`s charter.

Whilst accepting that the view can only really be distant from downtown, transport to/from can give rise to issues. Early planning can ease any problem.

The staffs are accomodating and very helpful, they provided us with all our needs.

The location is very far from the beach, plus limited mode of transportation, we have to rent a car everytime we have to go out which is 600PHP per 1 way or almost 12 USD. The location of our room is far from the lobby where we need to use the stairs, not advisable if you have seniors

Loved breakfast, the pool was great, the views were amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot water worked unlike other places in Phillipines. It was affordable.

Feels like the owners aren’t putting back into the resort, both with understaffed and maintenance… everything works but things that don’t affect you aren’t being looked after ie tiles falling off in the pool. The location is its greatest asset but also it’s greatest weakness. Our driver knew almost every short cut in Bohol but couldn’t find this place. For anyone else tell your driver to go to Mayacabac Elementary School then turn up the road opposite the school, then turn right near the top of the hill

Amazing hotel. Panorama view perfect food
