Balangan Surf Resort

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour. L’hôtel est très agréable et paisible, avec un excellent emplacement, une belle piscine et une très jolie vue. Le personnel est accueillant et attentionné, et le petit-déjeuner était également très bon. C’est un endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter du calme. Je recommande tout de même l’hôtel pour son cadre, son calme et la qualité du service.

Petit point à noter : la plage est surtout adaptée au surf, donc moins idéale si vous recherchez une plage pour nager tranquillement.

The stuff, the resort and the pool was great, restaurant was really good especially breakfest, great view from the restaurant.

Warm water occasionally acted up a bit. The beach is mostly for surfers and not for swimming, but you can just sit and watch them for hours

The location and view of Balangan beach is great. The overall setting/ambience is wonderful. We used and lounged by the pool, which was heated. The staff are very nice and helpful.

The food was not nearly as good as other places (mostly the American style breakfasts, which lacked flavor - perhaps the poached eggs were not cooked in salt?) The Indonesian plates were decent. Upon arrival, they did not have staff to help with our luggage. I do not mind carrying my own surfboard bags at all, but this differed from other hotels in which we stayed; perhaps they were short staffed?

Die Hütten waren gut ausgestattet und komfortabel und sauber, Betten bequem. Frühstück war limitiert aber Ok.

Das Restaurant war verhältnismäßig teuer und die Qualität nicht gut. Wir waren nur am ersten Abend dort essen und dann nicht wieder. Es schließt um 21:00 und es gibt keinen Barbetrieb oder wenigstens Automaten, um später noch Getränke zu bekommen, bzw. Sitzgelegenheiten.

Mooie locatie tov Balangan, gemakkelijk naar het strand te lopen. Prima bedden, goede badkamer, lekker ontbijt!

Zuid Bali is ontzettend druk, de wegen naar de accommodatie zijn nog erg hobbelig en je doet er lang over om van A naar B te komen.

Great location, walking to beach with surfboard. Food was amazing. Stunning sunset from restaurant . Needed to change room because our room was next to a water tank and pump running through the night and it was noisy. Staff were great, arranging us a new room . Super quiet :)

Eine wunderschöne Anlage mit tollen Häuschen und mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es nur weiterempfehlen!

La camera priva di fono,mancante di acqua calda, pochissima accoglienza da parte del personale, molto fuori dal centro abitato. Spostarsi è stata una impresa titanica.

Great location, nice massage onsite and next door at La Joya. Short walk to beach where had great surf lessons. Highly recommended. Walk round coast at low tide to Dreamland Beach amazing and then to Bingham.

Dobra lokalizacja- 4 minuty od plaży. Na terenie mały basen, leżaki, restauracja. Domki spore, czyste, z wygodnym łóżkiem, krzesełkami na tarasiku, klimatyzacją. Mini bar za dodatkową opłatą(woda, piwo, cola, sprite itp). Miejsce godne polecenia.

This property is in a beautiful area of Bali. It has a wonderful calm atmosphere and the beach is absolutely stunning. We were there mid June and had a small private area on the beach for ourselves around 8h00 in the mornings. The climbing of stairs down to the beach was all the steps worth it. The pool are is beautiful and very clean.

Des petits détails vraiment pas graves : La terrasse de notre 'bungalow vue sur mer ' donnait plutôt sur le restaurant et pas sur la mer.

Todo impecable de limpio, una piscina estupenda, la playa con acceso directo desde el alojamiento, el restaurante maravilloso así como vistas espectaculares. La atención del todo el personal es exquisita sin duda si vuelvo a Bali volveré a alojarme aquí. Gracias

Todo. Nefasto hotel. Habitaciones con telas de araña y el wc asqueroso. Sucio, con hongos y óxido. Llegamos y pedimos la devolución por las pauperrimas instalaciones y nunca nos devolvieron el dinero. Además de sucio, aprovechadores. El camino a la playa que tienen es una bajada que es un basural honestamente. Lleno de basura por todos lados.

Bardzo ładny hotel z bungalowami. Śniadania trochę skromne ale bardzo smaczne.

It doesn't get much better than being located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The rooms are separate bugalows and so extremely quiet. You are woken by cow bells and roosters. The restaurant had really good made to order food, including fresh fish and vegetables.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place.

Les chambres sont de petits bungalows indépendants, spacieux, propres. Tout est calme. Belle piscine. Restaurant avec une belle vue sur la mer. Le personnel est souriant, agréable et très gentil. 10 min à pied de la plage. Plage de surfeurs avec des vagues puissantes.

Rien autour de l'hôtel. Il faut être véhiculé pour trouver un bar, un restaurant ou une boutique.

Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Unterkunft direkt am Strand an den man Mega gut surfen kann. Dazu war das Essen im Hotel sterneküchenreif.

Staff were incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful. Our villa was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was pristine with no chemical smell. We loved the food here. Super fresh with generous portions. The restaurant/bar area has a fabulous sunset view. It does get hot though. They should have WAY more than one fan blowing! We absolutely loved this location. It gives you the old Bali feel before over tourism. A short walk through a beautiful little meadow takes you to a good set of stone stairs directly down to the beach. Surfing and surf shacks abound on the beach. If you walk hard right at the bottom of the stairs, there is some calm water up against the cliffs for swimming. We would love to return here someday.

Il complesso è tenuto molto bene, il verde impeccabile, la piscina pulitissima. Anche le camere/bungalow sono molto bene arredate e spaziose. Grande attenzione all'accoglienza serale (luci, raffrescamento, anti-zanzare). Vicinissimo c'è il noleggio per gli scooter, da qui abbiamo visitato Uluwatu ecc. senza problemi. Nei dintorni anche 2/3 ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. Bella la terrazza del ristorante interno affacciata sull'oceano verso il tramonto. Personale in generale molto disponibile e gentile.

Il ristorante dell'hotel invece è davvero da rivedere, non ci si sente accolti, è vuoto e triste, inoltre ha dei tempi di preparazione, anche solo della colazione, che sono imbarazzanti. Va bene il feroce controllo dei consumi del minibar ma alla fine ci hanno addebitato una birra di troppo. Per fortuna costa poco.

Spacious room and at a very clean standard, every day the room would be freshened up. Very quiet which allowed us to get a good night sleep - bed was comfy. The pool was great to relax around. It is walkable to balagan beach if you want to surf or there is a section to the left if you want to swim away from the rocks. Easy enough to get grabs to surrounding areas which we did or for others there is scooter rentalsaround.

We went half board which for us who did not want to rent scooters was handy as there is not many places around to choose for your evening meal. In saying this, the atmosphere in the restaurant was not very welcoming especially in the evening, often on arrival to the bar we were barely met with an hello. We weren't shown to a table with a menu but instead a small plaque sometimes offered or not for us to place our order at the bar to the same person for the 4 nights. Some music may help uplift the atmosphere and reduce the feeling of being a nuisance. A bit disappointing that there was only 5 choices for the evening meal - all of which were chicken. While not offered when we advised one of us does not eat chicken, on us asking they did allow my friend to get seafood option. 4 nights was long enough to switch between fried rice and noodles. The location is more tailored if you want to surf otherwise there is not loads to do close by.

The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Great location close to the beach-- a short walk down, great for surf. Pretty spot to watch the sunset. The pool was really nice and enjoyable. Breakfast was good, filling. Appreciate the fridge in room.

Needs a little updating. The restaurant was not welcoming-- the balcony overlooking the beach/view was hot/no airflow-- fans would be helpful. We did not eat other meals here as it did not look appealing. Staff was not around much. For the price I expected a bit more, but it has lots of potential to create more appealing restaurant/common space

We love our stay. The resort is well located in a beautiful and quiet part of Bali. The pavilions are private, large and comfortable. The pool was large enough and pleasant. The public beach is accessible for walking and quiet. The waves are good enough to learn surfing. The restaurant has amazing sunset views. The food was wonderful and affordable. We had snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The massages are well done and always available. We had yoga lessons at the resort next door. The pizzeria at the resort next door had wonderful pizzas especially the rendang pizza. Overall it was a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this resort.

Well kept, great sized rooms. Lovely friendly staff. Nice aspect to the ocean, and beach for those young and git enough to make the journey. Great views particularly from the restaurant. Decent inexpensive food. Very accommodating manageress, treats you like you matter. Nice restful spot. Quiet area. I will go back here again.

Rooms are super cosy and intimate, but also right in the middle of nature. Very relaxing, nice with the pool to cool down.

The restaurant and bar areas are not super fancy, the view is good tho.

Excellent location with beach views and access. The grounds are amazing and the rooms immaculate. Bathrooms are recently updated and are very clean and modern whilst the wooden bungalow is private and spacious. The breakfast options are numerous and other food is very good. If not eating in house there are a number of good places close by and many warungs on the beach.

Property location great to relax and unwind. Peaceful and quiet area. Olvi-was great and tried her best to accommodate our needs. Thought she was the resort manager, only to find out he was no where to be seen. Gardens well maintained and pleasant to walk through.

1.Restaurant area outdated. - furniture hard and uncomfortable. - furniture requires replacement. - decor outdated and has potential to be a great dining area. 2. Restaurant Staff communication and training. - suggested investment in training of restaurant staff. 3. Limited drinks options and ice crusher not available for cocktail requirements. Alcohol bottles limited on display and compared to nearby resorts Balangan surf resort seems to be struggling. 4. Area below restaurant where public toilet is, does not look appealing with large broken glass panes against wall and storage area for other broken chairs and tables. 5. Got a notice of turn down service and spray for mosquitos. This did not happen. 6. There also may be budget cuts for laundry as don’t think we got fresh bath towels. Know we had same sheets as gecko left evidence on first night.
