Reviewed Sep 11, 2026I've always wanted to stay on the seawall from when we lived in Oki. Being able to stay in arguably the nicest home on the seawall was amazing! The host was super responsive and accommodating. The house had everything you could possibly need--from toiletries, kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, hooks to dry clothes, life vests, inflatables, bikes, everything! So clean, inviting, spacious...and the view! Amazing! Also, we had a Honda Stepwagon that fit well enough with the garage door open- totally safe. All the good cafes and restaurants in Okinawa are right there--Tida's cafe, Coffee Casa, Rollup, Bella Napoli, Steady Smoke, etc. You could potentially just hang out in this area and walk to everything, but if not, it is a great base to sightsee then come back to a beautiful sunset on the terrace! No other place compares.

It was all good. Perhaps a little far from the town centre restaurants but it was still a great location because of the fabulous sea views.
