Five Bedroom Apartment Athlone

The shower was cold. At 3.30 woke up with a crowd of students coming back very noisy. At 7 in the morning (a Sunday morning)we were woken up by a truck outside our window. Then lads put up scaffolding right outside our window. That was so early.

Found it hard to gain access. 35 calls to get gate to open. We requested early checkin arrived at 14.30. gate only opened after 15.02

The apartment was great, spacious , very clean

Access was difficult. We had numerous cars as we were a group of 10. There was no answer from the 2 mobile nos given for the gate, rang wild Atlantic apts office and they couldn't help. We were lucky that a car drove out so we were able to drive in. It would have been great if we had a code to open the gate

Spacious & good value for money! Very clean!

Didn't know we had to heat up water, so that delayed us . The code box for door key didn't work on our arrival but the staff member provided a spare key.

Have used these premises before, the staff are always extremely helpful, the apartment is spotless clean with great facilities along with ideally situated too. Will be back again

Space for us all

Couch was a little small for the size of our group.

No hot water,one of the sheets on the bed had a stajn on it it,bathroom floor was filthy, outside front door tiles needed a clean

It was on ground floor, easily accessible and was very spacious

A dirty towel was left behind the door of the en-suite bathroom. Probably missed by cleaners

Great for a small group.

Couldn't find the building at first, contacted management company and even though it was late she was very patient and told us how to get there. Had to contact staff again after midnight due to unacceptable disruption and noise from an adjacent apartment. Could tell she had just woken up but she still handled my complaint with professionalism and respect. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Apartment is large with plenty of room but it was cold. Storage heaters in all the rooms, had to have them on all the time. One of the chairs was broken. Main bathroom run down and dirty looking in appearance. Shower pressure was good though. Walls are extremely thin and can hear everything from other apartments. Had to notify security well after midnight due to a party that was only getting out of hand. Security guard was very good and the loud music and banging stopped but then moved out onto the courtyard. Had to ring again after 2 hours as hadn't slept at all and rest of our party were awake too. Security guard came again and handled it. Got about 3 hours sleep. It is a good apartment for a girls / lads night away but definitely not for family or young children

The location was good ,not far from Athlone town. The apartment is spacious and located on the ground floor . The majority of bedrooms were clean and tidy.

The only bedroom with an ensuite had the most awful smell in it, we had to keep this room locked because of the odour. There were only hand towels left on each bed so nobody could use the shower, there were 2 half used toilet rolls in the whole apartment for 6 people. There was a bad crack at the base of the toilet in the main bathroom and it was leaking onto the floor, some of the chairs at the dining table were covered in cigarette burns, no tea towel to dry dishes.

Well layed out , very comfy beds , everything you need in the kitchen.

Location was great , apartment was spotless

The apartment and rooms were spotless clean! Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location close to many shops and kitchen and dining room to cater for everyone. Will definitely use this property again.

We stayed as a group of 8. The apartment had plenty of space for us all. 3 double rooms(1 ensuite), and 2 twin rooms. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with crockery, etc. Towels were also provided in each room. Access to the apartment was very straightforward.

There was no dishwasher, which wasn't an issue, but the kitchen had no dish cloth or drying towel provided. When I questioned this with reception, I was told they "just don't provide them". I asked if we could get kitchen roll, but again, I was told this wasn't provided. The chairs in the dining area were very flimsy & falling apart. There were no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom or ensuite. Ensuite shower head kept turning towards the wall, so it wasn't fit for purpose. There were no mirrors anywhere in the house except the 2 bathrooms, which again was inconvenient with 8 females sharing. I think all the issues I have listed above could be easily rectified to make the apartment more comfortable for guests.

Spacious and extremely clean with cosy bedrooms and a comfy living room with space for everyone to hang out

All was good

There was plenty of space for the whole group and it was nice and airy. Having the key attached to the front door was also very handy as there was no need for us to bring keys with us when we went out.

Check out was until 11am. Twice before then (once at 9:15 am and again at 10:30 am) cleaning staff knocked on the door to check if we had checked out yet. The earlier time woke up our group which was annoying as we still had nearly two hours left before we had to check out

Very noisy area

Well cleaned. Manager was responsive.

Poor beds and curtains were too thin with strong floodlights outside made it difficult to sleep. Water pump keeps going off also. Quite cold initially, took some time to warm up. Broadband was hit and miss and the TV was not connected so could barely watch anything other than Amazon prime which was jittery due to poor broadband.

large space, perfect for a family get together. rooms well laid out. nice big kitchen area.
