Reviewed Oct 16, 2025Everything was excellent! The staff, the location (walking distance with luggage from the train station), the secure beautiful building, the room is fabulous w/a large deck, the walkable, charming street, and the restaurant all exceeded our expectation. This building is only a year old and was built with excellent craftsmanship & modern features. Highly recommend the Terra Hotel Boutique in Tirano, Italy.

The hotel maintains ridiculously strict (short) hours. Reception hours are very limited and close completely at by 8:00pm. They also own a restaurant down the street, where we were told to store our luggage when we wanted to leave it at the hotel. They have it setup to minimize their costs, without consideration for guest needs and usual hotel operational hours and services.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025The property is clean and the rooms are comfortable.
The most important problem was an on and off buzzing in our room during the night, which prevented us from sleeping. I later read a review with the same complaint. The staff was not welcoming (more interested in her cell phone) or knowledgeable (could not provide taxi information). The hotel does not have a restaurant, but I was surprised when I was told ice was not available in the hotel. We had to go next door to the associated restaurant and ask for some.
