The honest member of staff in the bar/restaurant who told us that the quality of meat was not going to be any different if we had just had replacement for the overcooked sizzling steak not medium rare ( tough as old boots.so we completely changed meal which was as described
Hard bed sticky indepth tables in bar ( remember the old pub carpets from the 70/80s tired décor furnishings no real segregation from the eating area and pool area so unrelaxed meals think of crossroads and that's the bridge inn ok if you want basic cheap but for a little extra you can stay better elsewhere
Room was clean and comfortable, bar staff not very helpful, manager was good
We had to be in sand bay for 8am so we're unable to have breakfast, last meal order ws 8.30 pm, which was a bit of a rush as our event in sand bay did not finish till sometimes 7.30, by the time we ate our meal the kitchen was closed and we could not have desert not even ice cream. They were not very flexible to our needs, we probably would not stay here again
Convenient for the airport
Second time staying, both times very noisy.this time next door room with two men in it shouting and swearing at each other from 11.30am to 2am - slaming doors and very antisocial behaviour - we had a very early flight (up at 2.30am) and had very disrupted sleep!! Won't be booking again!!
We had a large room that was comfortable and quiet. The bar and restaurant was convenient and wwe didn't have to travel to find our evening meal. The car park was large and we had no issues in finding a space. The hotel's staff members were excellent and helpful.
The hotel felt dated.
Lovely spacious room more than big enough, out in the country away from the towns.
The shower was poor, no pressure in it was more power in the bathroom taps than the shower, shower pole rusty needs replacing
great room staff very freindly food absolulty great
nothing
Good value, convenient location. Water nice and hot. Towels big and fluffy. Good breakfast choice.
Very tired decor, scruffy in places. The room we had could definitely do with some redecoration, we have had better here in the past. The pillows were hard. People talking outside loudly in the early hours.
Ortima posizione, stanza accogliente e staff gentile
La colazione....sufficiente
The room was very adequate, a a very nice bathroom to use. Breakfast was not included in our stay, but we paid for the continental breakfast, which was also very good. The hotel is a little way out of Yatton, but very handy to get to various places from there
Nothing, everything was very satisfactory
Location good, staff very good
Some food items unavailable and as a vegan this severely limited choice, also and luke warm.
staff were good
it was a sweat box no air con, couldn't open the windows hardly, one small oscillating fan did not cut it. Bloody awful nights sleep which defeated the object of staying for one night to break my driving journey As such it was overpriced. If it had air con ( that worked) it would have been fine, still a bit pricey.
Brilliant place to stay recommend it.
When busy could do with more staff but it was a great stay
Quite
Convenient
Staff not very helpful Breakfast was rubbish Food in general not good
Lovely food great friendly atmosphere
Nothing.
Hotel side was very good. Bed was comfy, reasonable size room with table for using computer. Bathroom was good size. Hotel staff were excellent.
Not sure you could blame the hotel for the very hot weather. But the company must look at better ways to cool the rooms. A fan that just blows hot air around is not the answer. Also the stupid reg that keeps the windows from opening to allow a draft through must be reassessed or you will have fatalities from heat stroke.
Basic room but fine for the cost, apart from the terrible sleep.
The main issue was how noisy it was at night. There was a weird thumping in the ceiling roof all night and I don't know if it was a possum or a rat but it was horrendous and I didn't sleep for hours. It would have also been helpful to have a minibar in the room.
Pub adjoining with nice food and drink
Noise from people walking upstairs all night don't know what was going on can heard a lot
Stanza per 3 persone spaziosa e confortevole. Silenziosa. Pub/ristorante annesso di buon livello.
Convenient for our trip
Pub shutting down at 10pm Tables not cleaned of food & debris on many tables long after customers had left Pool Table £1.50 ridiculously expensive then staff couldn’t & wouldn’t reimburse us of the £1.50 when balls wouldn’t come out saying it was not the pubs responsibility as the pool table was an outside concern! Coffee in the morning breakfast flasks were not hot & the food was thrown on the plate & not appetising or appealing to look at! A pub on its way out feel about it
Convenient stop off between SW an home. Food prices good
The place is tatty and worn and in need of a complete refurbishment. Little things like the toaster not working properly, yoghurt pots put out on ice but no tea spoons to eat them with, hit and miss availability of menu items
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was very nice too.
The carpet in our room was very tired with large obvious stains on it. Coffee in the room was instant straws. There were no cups or glasses near the self-service breakfast area, so everyone had to ask for them at the bar, and the tables were sticky after being cleaned. This last one happens in alot of pubs, so not unusual but would have thought as the first people in for breakfast the cloth being used yo wipe the tables would have been fresh and clean, which is where the problem lies.
ground floor room comfortable bed lovely bath towels
sink smelt and shower holder came off in my hand
Comfortable room. Hot shower. Not far from the railway station.
Nothing
Great value
Noise
The room was a good size with plenty of storage for a weekend stay. Lighting was a bit dim but ok. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was fine. It was great to be able to charge my car!
Staff seemed a little reserved and could have been a little bit more friendly maybe? It was a pity the dining area was still being cleaned during breakfast.
Well priced, nice location. Beds a little uncomfortable and they need to get some new pillows
Location was perfect
Very tired looking, the rooms are all desperate for a makeover
Location
Smelly and outdated
It was in a nice quiet rural location and had everything we needed for our stay
That the child's play area was closed but we kept our daughter entertained so it didn't really matter
It is an excellent hotel with good facilities and a very friendly, helpful staff. All in all, incredibly good value for money.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Fan provided which was much appreciated
The restaurant was not up to the standards I was expecting. Many items were off the menu and although we were hotel guests we felt "pushed out the door" when it was only 9pm! The food we could order was good though The young lady in the bar in the mornings was lovely - cheerful and helpful but the staff on Sunday evening didn't make us feel welcome at all
Perfect pre airport stay
N/ A
Just if the motorway on the way home from our holiday.
Badly needs updating, curtains moth eaten, bathroom needed a new door (room31) repairs to bathroom wall panels was very poor and looked like bugs would crawl out . Floor dirty in bathroom just poor condition. Room carpet and throughout hotel looked like it needed a deep clean , bedroom walls and furniture needed updating. Hotel and room absolutely stifling and only a small fan . Breakfast was poor and not explained (2 menus ) understaffed restaurant asked for 2 different items both unavailable, glad we didn’t eat there in the evening.
The location suited us.
The bar/ restaurant staff left us with the impression that they did not want us there. E g vacuuming around the table while we were there. Shut windows causing the temperature to rise. Responses from staff were unfriendly and many of the menu items were not available.
Food was good
unclean , Furniture was shabby , who puts a tv over a picture room 35 , need undated and a good clean Cobwebs in the Male toilets at the restaurant which is very unhygienic.
Good location. Staff warm and helpful Room and bed were fine but few toiletries were provided (however the room rate was low) Breakfast adequate but mostly pre-prepared. Parking easy. Ideal for short stay.
Nothing to complain about.
Very helpful staff, especially Tracy the manager & Jake the night porter who went above & beyond to accommodate our late arrival due to flight delays. Access straight through to the bar & restaurant. Good prices.Lots of parking available.
Room was a bit tired. Understand that the hotel does accommodate a lot of workmen/women but maybe they should be asked not to enter the bar/restaurant in their work clothes. We went for breakfast at 8.30, it finishes at 9,but were told the vegetarian option was unavailable as they had "run out", not good for my wife who is a veggie!
Very convenient accommodation so close to the M5. Staff we had contact with were very helpful and and friendly
We were disappointed that there weren’t many healthy food options either for the evening meal or breakfast. Lots of fried food at both meals. Porridge and boiled or poached eggs would have been good at breakfast!
Stayed here many times and it suits us easy access to Clevedon and other locations
Only thing the cooked breakfast was not as good as previous stays
Nice location and the room was very spacious. We had food at the restaurant there, which was cheap and the food was okay. Staff we all very friendly. Nice comfortable stay for the price paid.
Perfect little stay to go into Weston
At breakfast they were hovering around us as we ate breakfast
Staff were very friendly, and helpful.
Nothing
spacious rooms, friendly staff, fan in the room
bed was too soft for me
Rooms were large and comfortable
Children’s area under maintenance
Room was spacious, I liked the coffee / tea facilities. Handy to have a restaurant as well.
Room did not have air-conditioning, so it was uncomfortably hot in the room. A desk fan was provided, which was better than nothing, but really not sufficient...
Easy parking, quiet room, friendly staff
The bathroom (Room 2) was a bit shabby ... but it all worked!
Close to airport , big room
Some wear and tear but for the price was well worth it
Great location for the airport so stayed prior to an early morning flight (approx 15 mins). We left at 3.30 in morning so price was great considering it was somewhere to sleep for just a few hours
Dated decor. Both my children's meal options on the menu were out of stock tacos and chicken strip burger causing them to rethink.
Great location. 15 min drive to airport
Walls are super thin. We were kept up all night with constant banging. It was that bad it shook my head that was resting on the wall
Staff were all friendly, very clean, lovely food and breakfast
A little dated but this didn't affect anything at all!
Empty wine bottles/little under bed, broken gutter causing noise to wake us up in the night, sharp, broken glass in the childs icecream, dirty bath and bathroom decor of low standard. Dusty in rooms/floors in general. No lift to family room with suitcases, however, they moved us to the ground floor.
As above.
Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom looked a bit tired. The lady on the bar in the evening was brilliant! Great customer service, sorry I didn't get her name.
Asked if I was having a cooked breakfast to which I responded yes please. next thing I'm presented with the hotel's version of a cooked breakfast, I wasn't asked what exactly did I want - fried, poached, scrambled egg etc? Would have like to have had the choice.
Convenient for getting to Clevedon and Weston
Busy road
Location excellent for what I wanted. Staff very welcome and friendly. The only thing that let it down was the bedding. Not a comfy mattress. Not a good sleep.
Bedding
Location is great, food is fabulous , rooms very comfortable, parking is free, staff very polite & accommodating, the price of the rooms are very reasonable, I have stayed at the Bridge Inn on many occasions over the year's & always go back to stay here.
Nothing to dislike
The staff was friendly
The place overall has a bad smell when you walk in, the carpets look dirty and worn. The place need redecorating the walls are chipped of paint and scuffed. The bathroom was dated and dirty, Staines on the shower curtain and dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Window frames was filthy and finger prints on the windows in the room. Rust shower pole and hairs in the bath. Bed was comfy but the room conditions let it down sadly I wouldn't stay again.
Reception wasn't manned when we arrived and it took 15 minutes to manage to find someone to help us check-in. The room was dull and the staff were aloof. There was a lack of a friendly atmosphere. The water in the bathroom basin was difficult to control and the plug did not fit the plughole.
Good car park
Location
It’s a good stopover place between Devon/Cornwall and the north . It’s cheap , food and drinks cheap and it’s always spotlessly clean . Staff are always lovely .
You get what you pay for , it’s no frills basic accommodation
Early check-in was arranged by staff.
Free parking. Pub on site. Evening meal available Reception staff friendly. Ground floor availability Vegetarian sausages available ( quorn) Gluten free available
The room was a little tired. Ordered breakfast with the room rate. Im gluten free.... dont bother _ worst food I've ever had.( morning bar staff. Not very helpful) Only one slice of bread for my full English . Soo hard I couldn't eat it. Hash brown in_edible Asked for two sausages ( received one) Husband had 4 quorn sausages!!! Happy to stay. Will find somewhere else for breakfast.
Everything,All Friendly
Nothing
The room was very clean and a fan was present on arrival which was a blessing in the heat. The decor is dated but without offline time or Capex to modernise it did the job. The food was good and staff in the restaurant were friendly
There was an entire day/night the hotel desk was unmanned. This made it hard to request some bits for the room so we ended up buying coffee at the bar. It was also left messy until the cleaner came in the next day, glasses on the side and rubbish outside.
Love the location and the staff are always helpful. Always good value for money 💰 been coming here 26 years. Will use again
The whole place could do with a revamp .the beds were uncomfortable and bathrooms need real work on . Just needs miney spent on it.
The location is great for Bristol Airport. Prices of food and drink are very good. The staff were great. There is no aircon but the room had a fan, which was helpful to cool it a bit. Free parking overnight was a bonus.
The mattress was quite hard so having a good night's sleep was tricky.
It is convenient for my regular trips into Bristol, and they have a bath in every room, which is fantastic.
as stated above
We used it as an overnight stay for the airport. Perfect! Also enjoyed meal and a pint in the evening which was nice.
Breakfast good for the price we paid.
Staines on the wall of the room
Close to airport
Not very clean .
A nice big, comfortable and clean room for an overnight stay. Good breakfast and evening meal.
room fine with fan and everything you needed
bath rail needed to get out of shower
Food was very good
Very few sockets to charge mobile phone.
Good welcome to hotel. Check in was easy. Nice room twin beds comfy beds.
Nothing to say here. Barmaid was a tad miserable but OK.
Really convenient location to Bristol airport. Chosen specifically as it had electric car charging. Had a family room for 3 which suited our needs perfectly. Great amenities and very comfortable, furniture slightly dated but functional. Would definately recommend and use again.
Staff wonderful, building getting a bit tired
Sunday nights dinner was very disappointing fish looked recooked and generally ot upto scratch on all 4 diners mixed grill over cooked too. I think staffing issues due to football. Staff were doing their very best
Staff in the pub were ignorant and un attentive to customers. Food was tasteless Room was unclean, dated and worn out.
Convenient half way house to south
Comfortable
Food value for money
Rooms need refurbishment
It was a spacious room near the airport. I would not go there for any other rey
Green king policy on allergies. However, the manager stepped in and made sure my wife's meal was not going to hurt her. But frontline staff were poorly trained on the subject except to disclaim that "although we try we can't guarantee" which is the owners fault, not her's
Food was nice, room was nice and Spacey easy to find xx
Beds were a bit to hard
The accomodatiob is tired, no charging points. Floor uneven, sound proofing between rooms not effective.
Ni sleep due a load of elephants in room above.
Breakfast was good, room was good but think place needs a up date, floor boards needed to be replaced on stairs ,needs a re paint
Nothing except what ive put above, ive been here 3 times and enjoyed my stay
Great location Very friendly staff Will stay again when in the area
Pleasant check in staff. Breakfast was OK. great value for money if you can overlook certain poor areas.
The entrance. Disgusting, overgrown in places, overfilled un emptied bin at main reception entrance to hotel, plus a rat bait trap adjoining the entrance. Cigarette ends, dirt, dirty sign, dirty windows, very dirty glass panels on doors, Same throughout the whole building/pub. - all glass so smeary, just needs someone spending half an hour a day going round entrance and outside to Clean and do a bit of weeding, and someone inside with some widow spray and a cloth. Really offputting - if I hadn't pre booked, I would never have Gone in or thought about staying. The windows/doors/public toilets/paintwork in bar areas/door to the function room, just so filthgy with greasy hand marks. Sat looking across at the toaster at breakfast where I had a view of the back of it, filthy with hand marks. ALL toilets - both In our bedroom and in the bar, need bleaching to remove stain build up. So easily could be hugely improved. It is a shame.
Barely anything location the only positive
Staff rude and abrupt more interested in going home than doing there job we arrived at 8:15 on a late booking website clearly stated food served until 9pm was told abruptly I can do drinks nothing else said so I asked if I could order food i was told the kitchen was closed so I said we've just travelled from Cornwall webhad checked the website which stated food served until 9pm to which the bartender walked off to the kitchen then back out the kitchen through the restaurant area having not said anything to me then someone else appeared from kitchen who was friendly but stated I had 4 minutes to order food then moaning to another member of staff they were doing someone else's job and where were they the response was walking his dog all this before the room is even mentioned which was below average at best all in all the worst hotel experience I've ever had and will never return
Convenient stop off between Cornwall and Derbyshire. Great food choice and reasonable prices. Helpful staff.
Decor is a bit dated. Hot tap didn't work for a while. No sockets near the beds for overnight phone charging.
clean frendly hotel perfect for night before an early flight.
all good
Staff helpful and kind.
Room didn't feel right. My baby didn't settle. So we left early.
Location was good for Bristol Airport
Food options were very limited due to a broken grill, portions were small.
.
.
Location and breakfast were both good.
The room was terrible. The furniture was sticky and the whole room was outdated and run down. There were holes in the walls, stains up the walls and the bathroom was falling to bits, with grout even missing from the tiled floor. Not a great or comfortable experience.
We always stay here overnight before going to Bristol airport. We love the family room and the food is excellent and only a few miles to the airport. Would recommend to anyone.
Location close to airport for us, cheap
There was lots of menu items out of stock, staff seemed stressed. Room was really basic and showing age. Carpets smelt funny. Bed was really firm to the point we were both aching by morning.
We always stay when flying from Bristol
The staff and location were very good.
No air conditioning, and overpriced.
