Die Heizung war abgeschaltet. Dadurch wurden Handtücher und regennasse Kleidung nicht trocken. Es war insgesamt zu kalt. Die Küchenausstattung war auch nur mäßig.

Adorable chalet à la décoration soignée , très bien aménagé , excellente literie et linge nickel. Le coin buanderie (lave linge et sèche linge) est un vrai bonus ainsi que le jardin (table et balancelle ) . L’endroit est calme . Nous y avons passé 5 nuits formidables !

Rien , tout était très bien. Pour information la dernière partie de la route d accès depuis Clifden est étroite il faut être attentif mais ce n’est pas insurmontable.

The thought that has gone into providing everything the guest could possibly need is amazing. Well done Vimy House. An oasis of peace with all mod cons.

Nous avons tellement aimé cet endroit calme, à la décoration soignée et agréable! Le chalet est très confortable avec beaucoup d’équipements de qualité. Nous avons apprécié les nombreuses attentions de nos hôtes et leur générosité. Nous n’avons manqué de rien ! L’accès est bien indiqué et la skyroad pour y arriver est magnifique !

The location was perfect and we used the information provided by the host to plan our stay and where to eat. The chalet itself was very clean and functional with easy access and privacy.

The only slight issue we had was that we couldn't adjust the radiator. I understand that you can message the host however it was so hot in the night and woke both of us up and we didn't feel that we could message the hosts at that time.

Modern, stylish, but very cosy chalet. A lot of light for cloudy days (we had none), furniture of good quality and well choosen Kornelija & Daniel are great hosts, check -in was easy. The area around is nice to explore the coast or to eat and drink in Clifden

Skye road was challenging to drive,l always returned back to accommodation before dark,

Logement indépendant au bout du monde, petit hameau très calme, parfait pour ceux qui aiment le dépaysement Grand logement bien équipé, salon et cuisine indépendante très bien équipée, le tout est très confortable, la literie est très bonne et la présence d’une machine à laver et d’un sèche linge est un vrai plus si vous voyagez longtemps comme nous.

Le chauffage se déclenche à distance, c’est un peu dommage même si l’hôte est réactif mais devoir demander pour chasser le froid est dommage, la pression de l’eau dans la douche est trop faible. Nous n’avons pas rencontré l’hôte c’est dommage aussi…

Le séjour et la chambre sont très agréables. Parking très pratique. Accueil sympathique du propriétaire.

La cuisine n est pas moderne, ni agréable. Elle ne donne pas envie de cuisiner, de même pour la vaisselle. La route d accès est plutôt étroite du fait de sa situation géographique. Devoir demander au propriétaire de mettre ou d enlever le chauffage est trop contraignant, même si le propriétaire le fait bien volontiers.

The chalet was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The decor was lovely and modern and everywhere smelt fresh and clean. We met our hosts who were very friendly and approachable. The views around the area were stunning and the nearby town of Clifden was a real gem.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!

Vimy House is compact but still feels roomy. The cozy little chalet has everything you need - kitchen, laundry. And it’s walkable (carefully) to some fantastic views along Sky Road and a beach.

there wasnt water pressure to have a bath however that is not the end of the world

The kitchenette was really cool, we could make our own dinner, along with a nice cup of tea. The TV with Netflix was also wonderful for kicking off a relaxing night.

The power shower was struggling to function, it was either ice cold, or burning hot, no matter the dial position and waiting time. That was the worst part of the whole stay :(

Property was clean and stocked with everything you would need to make yourself at home away from home.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a weekend in October and when we stepped inside we were greeted by lovely fresh lilies in the kitchen. The whole chalet was stocked with everything you needed and was very spacious too, which just made it peaceful and quiet. I personally loved using the Breville coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable, the shower and bath were great and easy to use, along with the tv having a great Sony speaker. The windows seemed kinda tinted from the outside which was nice for privacy as well. We went out for a lovely walk up by the cliffs and were blessed with a beautiful sunny day with no rain and walked right up to Clifden Castle and back. The local town is filled with all you need as well from shops to restaurants to banks, and other local attractions are quite close by. Overall the property was easy to find, the hosts were very accommodating and hospitable and we really enjoyed our little adventure in Clifden and we felt like we had a well deserved break 😁

I just assumed the property had an oven but don’t make the same mistake I did in not reading all the facilities properly as it is not listed on there 😂 we bought some frozen food but we were grand with the microwave and hob in the end 😅🙈 one of the tiles was a bit loose in the bathroom but nothing bad to say at all really. Thanks for having us!

The hosts were wonderful and I loved how the facilities had so many items available for coffee/tea, oil for cooking, well stocked kitchen with Breville appliances and lovely treats for us to enjoy!

Really nice chalet. Really clean with everything you might need for a stay with 2 people. Perfectly furnished and nicely decorated. Connected TV, deliciously smelling soap. Available owners. The chalet is close to the house and the garden shared, but wasn’t a problem for us.

It was in the most beautiful location

I’d have liked a conventional oven or microwave to reheat meals, as it was a long way back to the property in the evening along windy roads.

Cosy, clean & comfortable retreat in scenic/peaceful location a short drive from Clifden town. The owners were very helpful & quick to respond to any queries.

What a wonderful lovely soul! We had a great time at the Sky Road and this place was part of it. We loved to stay there and we will try to come again.

Stunning location with total peace and quiet, yet within a 10 minute drive of shops, restaurants etc. Charming, hospitable hosts, always available but never intrusive, Kornelija and Daniel include everything you could possibly want for a relaxed and comfortable stay, including breakfast provisions. Don't hesitate- you won't be disappointed.

The location is a little misleading, Vimy House is a long way outside Clifden.

The location is not so easy to reach also with GPS position (also due to poor connectivity in the zone); maybe more visible signage, or better indications, can be provided in the future to better indicate the exact location

Beautiful location. Very modern and comfortable furniture and decor. The entire space is bright, open, and welcoming. Well-stocked kitchen, including a selection of breakfast items including eggs, yogurt, bagels, fruit, milk, juice, tea, coffee. The rainfall shower and espresso machine were added bonuses. Hosts are very friendly, as is the dog. An Eire code was provided to help with navigation, plus there is a sign at the end of the driveway.

This self contained chalet was one of the best ( superb) for facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Everything you needed esp the coffee machine, heaven. Added bonus of fresh milk, fruit, cereals, orange juice and even eggs. Highly recommend after a long day out and about, you can soak in a warm bath on a blustery wild west day. Highly recommend and will br passing on their details to all friend and family. Thank you Vimy House host.

Really nicely stylish kitted out accommodation. Thoughtful touches throughout. Clever design. Lovely garden area with seating. Location is beautiful on the Sky road. Lovely walks down by the coast. We only stayed one night but the hosts left everything required for a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend this property for anybody keen on touring this area of Ireland.

Couldn't find fault with anything. Even the family dog was warm and friendly and happy to go on walks with us!
