Lovely area to relax in between hiking Eryanping and around Alishan. Good value for money and the staff were super friendly!

Make sure to message arrival time in advance to avoid being stuck at the gate with your bags!

there was rodent poop on the bed and bedside table when I checked in to my room, I asked to switch rooms and there was rodent poop in the next room's bed as well. I asked for a discount which the owner refused to give, there were no other rooms available in town that day so I ended up staying

進去廁所可以聞到檜木的香味，附近也很多店很方便，單人房的空間很剛好也很舒適

房門低部空隙很大，所以相對得隔音就不是很好，還有枕頭有點澎枕得不是很舒服。

很乾淨，門口有兩個停車位，廚房有提供一些食物泡麵可以免費吃，還有飲水機等等。接待人員很親切，老闆娘還送了一袋好吃的李子。坐在房間前就可以看到日出，不用再開車到其他地方，下次還想來。

Bushalte is onderaan de trap van de accommodatie, keuken beschikbaar, gratis snacks, HiLife schuin tegenover. Aardige en behulpzame host. Veel restaurants in het dorpje, wel allemaal hotpot en je moet reserveren bij de meeste.

Kier boven de muur en onder de deur waardoor je geluiden vanuit de andere kamers (zoals gesnurk) ook kon horen, hierdoor konden ook een paar insecten binnenkomen.

這是第二次住宿,就在好行和客運的站牌旁很方便,兩人房的房間的位置也很棒,可以看到山景和雲霧.

非假日價格還是有點貴

This BnB is quite new, with an air-conditioner (multi-functional) and de-humidifier in room. I was thoughtfully re-assigned to another room with ensuite washroom as there were large groups visiting for both nights of my stay which helped to segment spaces a little. The BnB is sited within a wooden structure, which adds to its charm and also means that noise at least in the main accommodation space (with 3 separate rooms - a 4-roomer, and 2 single rooms, & a shared living room area) can travel as doors have a gap from the floor. Guests are able to use a shared kitchen, and washing machine in the yard. Instant noodles and beverages (which i understand are produced in-house) are made available for guests, which is a thoughtful gesture. I was also gifted a huge bunch of plums from the tree in the yard. The washrooms are very new and sparkly clean. Hi-life (which is 3 minutes across by foot) is a life-saver, and there are at least 2 breakfast shops within 5 minutes of walking. Most dinner options comprise hotpot restaurants and these too are similarly accessible (a short walk away). It was a treat to enjoy the view each morning - whether of mountain tea scapes shrouded in mist or otherwise. Thank you for having me!

NA. Guests that have a fear of bugs might like to beware (I encountered a flock of winged creatures on a particularly rainy night as they were attracted to light); although this is to be expected in a setting/location like this.

Perfect location, the bus stop is minutes away, convenience stores and restaurants are also nearby. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with great sunrise views. Near to walking trails.

Établissement bien tenu à proximité de la ligne de bus vers la forêt d’Alishan. Les lits sont confortables et le personnel a eu la gentillesse de m’attendre et de m’accueillir en dehors des heures prévues.

Amazing place with kitchen and washing machine. tea and noodles were provided as well.

I gave overall 9 out of 10 coz of the location, otherwise, for the price this is five stars 10/10. From the spacious room, the cleanliness, the attentive service, the magnificent view and sunrise in the morning and the shared kitchen with all amenities, it was all excellent. It's a bit of a hike (34 kms) if you are staying here to go to the Alishan National Park but due to limited options in the park, you have to find alternate accommodation.

La vue sur la montagne au réveil et toute la journée, le personnel accueillant et sympathique, la propreté de l'établissement et la proximité avec les commerces et l'arrêt de bus.

Le matelas était un peu raide et je n'ai malheureusement pas pu totalement m'y habituer, mais à part cela, rien de mauvais à relever !

The location is near really beautiful nature trails and location to watch the sunset. You can also watch the sunrise from the balcony right outside.

It's a bit expensive and I did find a few bugs in the drying dishes, so recommend rewashing before using them.

The view from my window is a 50/10 Helpful and responsive staff. When I had an issue with the water pressure, I sent them a message and the issue was resolved within 30 mins Location is excellent with restaurants, convenience stores and gas stations all within walking distance. It's also a 1 hour drive to get to Alishan and 1.5 hour drive to get to Yushan National Park Large, modern and clean room

The road beside the guest house does get busy during daylight hours so expect some noise Also, the guest house may be difficult to locate as their is no sign with the slow house name on it.

Excellent location, halfway between Chiaiyi and Alishan, very close to the bus (it's difficult to get on the bus from the next stop, as it's full). The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There's a terrace from which you can admire the sunrise. Kitchen facilities are available.

Owner was friendly and room was comfy. Very close to convenience store, bus stop, and a couple of hikes. All Alishan buses pass through Xiding, although can get busy or even full, try to leave as early as possible to catch one.

The room looked exactly like the photos on Booking.com, and everything was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I liked the small single sofa seat in the room — a nice touch where I could sit and relax. The bathroom water pressure was strong, and the heater worked very well. Up in the mountains, a hot shower really feels like a luxury, especially after a cold day outside. But the best part was the sunrise right in front of the homestay’s yard. Waking up early and watching the sky slowly change colors over the mountains was such a peaceful moment.

The location is perfect, just a minute from the bus stop and a few minutes from an awesome view point and the Tea Mist trail. 24/7 convenience store is 2 minutes away. Its at an elevation so you can see out into the mountains from your room. Even though its so close to the main road it feels secluded and you can have your morning coffee at a shared outdoor space overlooking the sunrise if the weather is right. It's a very simple homestay but I was surprised by all the amenities provided. They have a free washing machine (but no dryer and its cold outside so keep it in mind when you wash), hot water and even heating and a fan in the room. The soundproofing in the shared rooms is not the best but the guests are all considerate at night. There is a kitchen to cook as well and hot water for tea/noodles. The room was very clean with a storage rack, hangers, drawers and even a small table and sofa to relax. The whole place just feels very cosy and comfortable in its simplicity. Staff accommodated my request to hold luggage a bit earlier so I could hike in Shizhou and check in later. They also provided a very informative check in. The family that runs this homestay grows a very delicious Alishan tea so please try it (they provide free samples in the room)! I regret not buying some while I was there, its a very delicate tea that doesn't have any lingering bitterness and smells so aromatic.

Some doors can creak a bit loudly, maybe helpful to grease it so it creates less sound at night.

Clean, spacious and comfortable single room, well equipped kitchen and a terrace with a fantastic view. Close to the bus stop, so a good location for exploring Alishan and the area around the guesthouse is also very beautiful. I wish I’d stayed longer.

Cosy and very comfortable. The host is very friendly even through the translator.

It is a little noisy but not a problem. Also the WiFi wouldn’t work but it was no problem as you can soak up the mountain atmosphere

Mon sejour à la Slow House s’est tres bien passé! Les lieux sont tres propres et confortables, la vue depuis la terrasse est incroyable et permet d’observer le lever du soleil. Il y a l’arrêt de bus juste en bas qui permet de rejoindre le parc d’Alishan très facilement. J’ai pu rencontrer des personnes merveilleuses à la Slow House. Aussi, la dame qui gère la slow house est tellement accueillante, arrangeante et gentille. Je recommande à 100%! My stay at the Slow House was wonderful! The place is very clean and comfortable, the view from the terrace is incredible and allows you to watch the sunrise. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it very easy to get to Alishan Park. I met some wonderful people at the Slow House. Also, the lady who runs the Slow House is so welcoming, accommodating, and kind. I recommend it 100%!

本身很愛獨旅❤️ 常常去台東或其他地方走走 這次有五天的假期，排了三天來這裡 1.嘉義火車站搭7322就能隙頂站下車 車程一個多小時，100初頭超划算，站牌到民宿走路10秒。 2.民宿跟照片長得一樣超級美，環境也非常乾淨，不會因為是老宅就角落有灰塵，越南小管家打掃的非常乾淨，而且人很親切！ 3.公共衛浴乾淨到不行，熱水也很穩定，重點還有免費洗衣服與洗衣精，對爬山很會流汗的人來說真的超感謝🙏 4.樓下走路30秒萊爾富，走路30秒阿宏的家（菜菜超多的火鍋，老闆娘超級熱情，甜點白木耳也超好喝），走路30秒龍舞雲海火鍋（可惜老闆這次有事店休），如果有特別想吃的食物，帶上山，公共廚房超居家，煮火鍋、做早餐都沒問題👍 5.搭一站公車就到二延平入口，弱雞如我也能四個小時內走完兼吃完午餐，回民宿補眠超舒服。 6.民宿開門就能看日出，水嘎😍 7.老闆娘人超好，還借我登山杖去爬二延平，訊息都會回覆，雖然這次沒看到本人，但還是能感受到是位很實在很友善的民宿業者。 8.床是扎實帶點小彈性的那種，不會硬到睡不著或軟到腰痠背痛，我超喜歡。

沒有不滿意，但希望能有烤箱或微波爐，山上吃東西很容易冷掉，微波爐很方便可以加熱飲料咖啡或食物。

環境整潔舒適又安靜，地點非常便利，民宿老闆也很熱情，是可以好好放鬆休息的住宿地點。

「拾時漫丘」的名字取得真好，完全體現了這裡的步調與氛圍，非常適合想暫時遠離城市喧囂的人。 ​民宿位於阿里山公路旁的隙頂，地點絕佳，距離二延平步道觀景台非常近，無論是想看雲海、晚霞還是日出都極為方便。走路幾分鐘就有便利商店和餐廳，機能性很好。 ​這次入住的房間乾淨又舒適，木質調的斜屋頂增添了溫馨的感覺，床鋪也非常好睡。最喜歡的是房外附設的陽台，坐在那裡喝著茶，呼吸山裡的空氣，真的非常愜意。 ​公共空間更是讓人驚喜，保留了老房子的結構，佈置得很有味道。廚房設備齊全，從冰箱、飲水機到鍋具碗盤應有盡有，能感受到主人的用心。 ​整體而言，這是一次無可挑剔的住宿。從整潔的環境、舒適的房間到絕佳的地理位置，都讓人非常滿意。真心推薦給每一位想到阿里山放鬆、體驗慢活的朋友。

Easy access to Xiding bus stop, a comfy room, and waking up to a beautiful sunrise. It was quiet and peaceful stay, with only one other occupant besides me

The room and bathroom were very clean and well-maintained—I have no complaints. There was hot water available, which was great. The owner was kind and hospitable. The location is perfect, close to Xiding bus stop, making it convenient to get around. It’s about 15–30 minutes to the Tea/Mist and Eryanping trails if you enjoy hiking. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Taiwan.
