Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The location was so beautiful with incredible views of the mountains all around and the sun rising over the peaks. It was also very close to the Eryanping trail which was a really nice day trip. The dogs were so welcoming leading us up to the property. There’s also great hotpot options in town. The staff were so friendly and provided fantastic recommendations to best plan for our stay.

房間集中在2、3樓，沒有電梯，行動不便的人需要考慮一下。

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026친절한 직원들과 강아지들이 맞이해주었어요! 주차장도 크고, 방도 깨끗하고 조용했어요. 숙소에서 보이는 뷰도 멋지고, 작은 산 속 동네를 걷는 것도 한가롭고 무척이나 좋았습니다. 번역기를 통해 세세히 안내해주시고, 맛있는 조식 해주신 직원분들께 감사드려요. 추천해주신 훠궈도 정말 맛있었어요. 1박만 한 게 아쉬워서 다음에 가면 2박이나 3박 하고 싶은 곳입니다! 추천해요!!

Reviewed Mar 31, 20261.硬體設備很好，至少看到都是大品牌，值得給五顆星！ 有冷暖氣贏了一半以上，浴室還有暖風機，在寒冷的夜晚真的很重要‼️ 2.整潔度高，值得嘉許！
1. 床偏硬，枕頭太高，建議要附兩種高度的枕頭可以更符合每個人的睡眠習慣，一整晚都睡不好！ 2. 隔音不好，房門不是防火門，有其他房客在房門外的桌椅大聲聊天都聽得一清二楚！地板是木頭，如果有人上下樓經過會蠻大聲。 3.跟隔壁房的牆面內有熱水管，如果有人使用熱水，熱水管的製造的聲音非常大聲！ 4.因為房間小，放置物品的平台有限，椅子也只有一張，要吃東西有一個人只能席地而坐或是坐在床上，東西多只能放在椅子上或是洗手台面上，有點克難！

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026The location is beautiful right near the start of one end of the Eryanping trail. Rooms were basic but comfortable with TV and YouTube. You have to walk up a hill a few hundred meters from the main road if you take public transport. Breakfast was excellent which they serve with tea or coffee. There's parking but limited- but I'm sure you can find a spot to squeeze in if you bring a car. They only speak Chinese but the staff are friendly and try their best to be helpful re: queries.
Signage to the place could be better. The small signs pointing to the Homestay say FIRST SUN but the place is listed as CHUXU HOMESTAY here. First Sun is probably the English translation of the Chinese name. I suggest the signage be updated and clearer on the road that leads up to the homestay.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025We had an excellent stay at Chuxu Homestay. The family room was clean, spacious, and perfect for a group—it came with three comfortable double beds. The breakfast was healthy and delicious, a great way to start the day. The location is ideal for nature lovers. From the homestay, we walked to the Er Yan Ping Trail and reached the viewing platform to enjoy the breathtaking sea of clouds and a stunning sunset. The views were absolutely beautiful and worth every step of the walk. Overall, a wonderful experience with great hospitality and an unbeatable location for scenic hikes. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Nov 10, 2025Friendly hosts. Beautiful views from the property. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was great. Parking was a bonus. The dogs were lovely. We were planning to do the Eryanping Trail but the dogs led us to another track that was closer to the homestay 🤣 Our fault really as we weren't really paying attention and just assumed that there was only one walking track. We still eventually got onto the Eryanping Trail which was further along the road. I would definitely recommend staying at this Homestay.
