I had the best stay here, I came first for only one night and as I was passing again on Cebu island I decided to stay here again since it feels like home directly ! The owner, Jocelyn, made me feel good from the first day, and everything was really convenient! Thanks for all ☺️

Idealne miejsce na pobyt w okolicach Moalboal, blisko szlaku górskiego i blisko do morza oraz wodospadów. Lokalna miła atmosfera, dla osób ceniących spokój, naturalność i przygodę. Właściciela bardzo życzliwa. Zdecydowanie polecam 🙂

Really nice place, filtered water, hot shower, big room. Would stay here again if I go back to the area.

WiFi wasn’t the best, but it didn’t really bother me.

Very good location, close to good spots but not touristic at all

Jest to miejsce w przepięknej lokalizacji, czuć tam wiejską ciszę i spokój. Kontakt z właścicielką Jocelyn jest, klarowny i życzliwy. Chętnie dzieli się informacjami na temat atrakcji w okolicy. Wypożycza ona również skutery w rozsądnej cenie. Można się nimi swobodnie poruszać po okolicy. Obsługa na miejscu jest życzliwa i pomocna, zawsze dba o dobrą atmosferę i pomaga w każdy możliwy sposób. Dziękujemy Angel i Rogerowi. Nie możemy też zapomnieć o Beauty, uroczej psinie, która dotrzymywała nam towarzystwa. Zatrzymaliśmy się tam na 11 dni, a i tak nie udało się zobaczyć wszystkich atrakcji w okolicy. Dlatego też obiecaliśmy, że przy następnej naszej wizycie na Filipinach ponownie się tam zatrzymamy.

Trochę słaby internet, ale wiadomo to są Filipiny, nie mówiąc o fakcie, że na wyspie jest pełno wysokich gór.

L’hôte Jo et Angel sont d’une gentillesse extraordinaire, un grand merci pour leur accueil. Malgré un typhon au moment de notre séjour, elles ont su nous conseiller et nous aiguiller à la perfection.

Légère odeur d’humidité, certainement due aussi à la saison des pluies finissante.

The location is very picturesque quiet and beautiful in the countryside with a bountiful garden as well. The owner and her dog are very sweet and helpful. It makes you feel like youre in paradise :)

The internet situation is a bit funny but we figured out a system to make it work. Also the kitchen tools are a little funny/broken but also we made it work :) Also without a bike its hard to go anywhere however, it should be noted this provides the peace and quiet so it depends what you want.

Pillows were a bit stiff

The owner was very nice and had many recommendations of things to do.

It was a very modest small hostel, its more like a Homestay and the dorm is in the lower room of the house (not sure it has window) and felt a bit like a damp basement. However it had aircon, and everything was very clean. You need a scooter to get around and it’s better to rent it form the town/station so you won’t need to overpay a taxi to bring you to the house. There is only one bathroom upstairs, a bit rundown but also very clean. Overall it was a good stay for the money even though if you can find better hostels for the price in cities, but I wouldn’t have stayed more then 1/2 nights.

The location is great, not in the touristy area so we felt immersed in the culture. It is also closer to canyoneering tours. There is a fridge and kitchen space with a kettle. We enjoyed playing some of the games at the property. You can rent a motorbike easily. Jocelyn was lovely and very helpful. It is a very good price too.

WiFi only worked at the table in the communal area. Was not strong enough to make calls. Toilet didn’t flush most of the time. We found it would have been cheaper to book a taxi independent of the homestay. There was also some confusion over the price of hiring a bike- when we arrived we were told a different price by a member of staff than previously agreed with Jocelyn. Just something to make sure you clear up before arrival but we still had a lovely stay :)

Excellent value, the hosts are able to offer scooter rental, meals and tours at good rates. The guesthouse is spacious for all your needs. Hosts are attentive and took care to ensure my stay was an enjoyable one. The staff appear happy and respected. Thank you!

The host is superfriendly and welcoming and seems genuinely interested and is always willing to help. We even got to use her kitchen. Very good price/kwality. It is no 5 star accomodation but that would be crazy to expect for this price. Room is very spacious and AC works well Option to rent a scooter and do laundry. We rented a scooter for 2 days but were even allowed to use it on the night of arrival and on the day of Departure to drop already one person and luggage so that we would only have to pay for one scooter taxi instead of 2

If i would have to say something it is that the wifi connection is only in the common room and even there the connection isn’t great. My partner had a scheduled call for a job interview but was even allowed to have it upstairs at her place where the wifi was better, so again a great solution for the problem.

I had a lovely time! Jo is so sweet and welcoming, she made me feel home immediately. Plus she can give you useful information about the area and how to move around, super helpful! Also, I was here in low season , so I was the only guest and i was moved from the dorm to the private room with double bed for free. Last but not least, she cooks wonderfully 😋 A really restorative stay, thank you 🧡🌈

Bear is amazing host. We were welcomed with some fresh water and few fruits. They were incredibly helpful and they provide us many information of what to do in Cebu. The last day my friend became intoxicated and he was the same one who offered to go to the pharmacy to buy medicines, very grateful for everything he did for us. Very good energy and good people in that place. Highly recommended

Nice and quiet accommodation near to crowdy Moalboal. Motorbike rental possible. Snorchel mask too. We could store our backpacks for 2 more days after checkout. Bear gave us a lot of tips what to do.

Nice place to explore the waterfalls of cebu, hang out and talk to people :) The place is renting scooters so you don’t have to get one in moalboal which is cool Cute dogs and friendly owner you can have a nice chat with!

Wifi was not working everywhere which can be annoying Bathroom could be cleaner but it was alright

the place is very comfortable and the owner is very loving.Perfect place if you want to go canyoneering, you can make reservations from there and gives you all the tips and recommendations for tours. They also prepare an exquisite breakfast and dinner (you have to pay for it) and you have kitchen and fridge equipped if you need. I recommend it 100 percent if you have a motorcycle is better

We had a lovely stay here! Only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. A really peaceful location. The owners are incredibly hospitable and so kind and welcoming. We stayed in the dorm which had super comfy beds. Can’t recommend this place enough!

It was perfect, spacious and had everything we needed! Joe was so accommodating, she cooked for us, provided motorbikes, organised day trips & gave so many wonderful local recommendations. We had an incredible time and would highly recommend staying here to anyone!! Incredible value for money too. Get it booked!!
