Reviewed Nov 10, 2025Excellent accueil du couple qui tient l’hôtel, c’est un peu comme une maison d’hôtes. Très bon petit déjeuner avec une belle diversité de produits pour tous les goûts. Une excellent propreté dans la chambre et une très bonne literie (lit de 180cm)
C’est juste car il faut trouver quelque chose. La salle de bain pourrait être un peu plus moderne et confortable, mais tout à fait correct pour les 2 étoiles

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025The owners were very nice and always checking to make sure we had all that we needed. The breakfast included a selection of high quality products, the room was stylish and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfy and I slept very well. I like that it is a small hotel so peaceful as there aren't lots of floors and other guests. It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful little town. There is only 1 floor and stairs are wide so very easy to access rooms with luggage.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025We are two Canadians on a 2 week long bike tour along the Loire. This boutique hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The hotel is beautiful, the interior decorating was creative, interesting and fun. The couple who own it were outstanding hosts, giving lots of excellent touring advice and often checking in to make sure all our needs were taken care of. The breakfast showcased their pride and attention to detail. The cheeses, meats, eggs, bread and pastries were all unique and from local producers and it was the only place with fresh pressed grape juice. Great bed, bedding and towels too. This is a hidden gem!

We travel a lot and all the little things make a difference like extra hooks in bathroom , small lights and plugs next to beds , coffee and hot water maker … etc . Also Emanuel let us check in early and made the stay easy for us . We will be back . Note : this is a wonderful hotel but it’s not a luxury hotel, just clean , safe , quiet and well thought out !
No AC which was not a big deal since we were able to leave windows open at night

Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et chaleureux et nous ont recommandé un restaurant exceptionnel : l'Oceanic, tout proche. Chambre confortable, calme et très bon lit. Un plus : le voisinage avec une boutique où on trouve un vin excellent.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Zimmer waren in einer Logia außerhalb des Hotels mit umfriedetem Innenhof, dort konnte man nett sitzen und hatte Gartenmöbel. Zimmer sehr sauber, ruhig.Zur Ortsmitte und zum nächsten Supermarkt konnte man einen schönen Spaziergang an der Loire machen.

The owner is very thoughtful and helpful, advising on places to eat and visit. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The hotel is in a great location a minutes walk from the centre of the pretty town of Chinon.

Die Zimmer könnten mit kleiner Klimaanlage sein, aber der Ventilator war auch ok. Die Zwischenwände zum anderen Zimmer (im Bereich Bad) könnten etwas dicker sein, aber ist ein Detail. Es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten, die verberssert werden könnten.

Very clean rooms with a lovely secluded courtyard and seating area. On-street car parking was directly opposite the hotel. Breakfast was extremely good.

Během našeho pobytu byla tropická vedra takže bychom uvítali lednici nebo klimatizaci, v pokoji byly sice dva ventilátory ,ale při tropických teplotách moc nepomohli.

Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the whole place has a calm, thoughtful atmosphere. Emanuel, the owner, was really helpful and kind — nothing was too much trouble, and his warm approach really added to our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh, high-quality local produce. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the area on foot.
