The host was so friendly. The room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was amazing. And the view was sublime. I especially liked the details that they added to keep the authenticity of the place.

Can't think of anything that I didn't like, except that we only had one night there - wish we could have stayed longer

Pillows were thin and only had one each, although, in retrospect, we could have asked for extra

An absolute joy to experience this delightful country mansion! Beautiful views and the ambience was lovely. The breakfast was sensational.

It was perfect

We had a toddler and booked especially to see the ponies and alpaca. Very friendly animals that loved apples. Great selection of breakfast, and the hosts were so accomadating to our fussy son and our allergies. Not far from the city to head there for dinner, and far enough to enjoy rolling hills and fresh air. Fresh cold water from the well. Big toys cupboard for kids (and adults) of all ages. Just lovely! Thanks so much Colleen and her hisband for a well needed respite from the city.

Colleen and Clive were amazing, and their efforts made the stay a very personable one. They responded with care and attention to our requests, and ensured that my entire family was catered for. The animals were also very friendly, and a great treat for any young ones.

Warm, friendly hosts offer excellent breakfast every morning.

The people who own the facility are extremely friendly. Nice country location just a short drive from town.

Je moet rekening houden met traplopen en sommige kamers hebben een gedeelde badkamer en toilet.

What a beautiful spot. Wonderful country feel with the animals nearby, wonderful views from the large room we had, loved the deep bath and opulence. Felt very spoilt! Wonderful hosts too, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go again, hopefully with grandkids to feed the alpaca and sheep!

I really felt that the hosts were very genuine! They took pride in what they did, they were very approachable, yet professional. You felt that this was their home, and they really wanted to share it with you!

Beautiful home in countryside with ponies, cats, etc. Our room (RUA) was very large with large bath. Liked the separate toilet room.

Lots of stairs getting in and then many stairs to the 2nd floor where our room was. Our room had an air-conditioner and private bath. Most do not. They did not want us running the air or fans unless we were in the room due to high electrical costs.

The animals were great for the kids.

The main host wasn't very pleasant. We didn't feel welcome.

Great place: interesting architecture, good room, good breakfast, if you like animals you'll enjoy petting cats/horses outside, very clean (shoes off). Nice owners.

Beautiful property 10 minutes from central Hamilton. Lovely countryside views. The family room was lovely; much nicer than the pictures. 1 double, 1 single in the big room and 1 single in a small room without windows. The beds were comfortable, Airconditioner available if needed. Lovely, toilet and bathroom. Lovely views by day and at sunset in the common dining room and living room. Easy parking. They have several farm animals outside the house and a friendly cat wandering around. Breakfast was ample. The owners were warm and friendly.

Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Otherwise, nothing else.

Sehr nette Gastgeber und die Lage ist auch schön. Das Bett, Kissen und Decke war sehr bequem. Katze ist supersüß.

Zimmer hat keine Schlüssel, muss man mögen. Schöne Anlage, aber keine Möglichkeit im Schatten draußen zu sitzen. Dorf hat etwas den Charakter von Duloc ( Shrek1). Lautstärke durch viele Gäste auf den Fluren.

the place was well maintained and had good air circulation, brightly lit with good sunlight, amazing property and the hosts Colleen and Clive were truly wonderful, amazingly attentive and very friendly.

De locatie en gastvrijheid was fantastisch. De eigenaars zijn uiterst vriendelijk en er waren hele leuke dieren op het terrein.

Helemaal niks! Ik zou hier zo nog een keer heen gaan maar dan zeker langer dan 1 nachtje. Dat is veel te kort!

Great location with very friendly hosts. Quick drive to many different facilities nearby, ie food. Lovely little park just down the road. At the resort the kids were able to do some exploring and even feed some animals, they loved that. Super comfy beds. Great for kids.

Communication regarding the early check-in seemed have gotten lost. We were very early and I was very tired.

The property is cozy and perfect for families with kids. Mine enjoyed the contact with animals and the games on the common areas on the living room. And for the adults the owners are such a great hosts!

Beautiful facility, nice n quiet, staff friendly n helpful. Enjoyed the space in foyer n bedroom size was great. Would go back there again with my family.

Having limited mobility after a heart attack, I didn't enjoy stairs entry.

We did not stay here. However, the management alerted us to not having the room available within a very short period of time. We were able to rebook at another lodging facility. So, good ratings on the communication level.

I liked the animals and surrounding views. Close to Hamilton and good location for doing the Waitomo caves and Hobbiton. 20 minute drive to Hamilton for dinner. Cooked breakfast was yummy. Free WiFi and access to Netflix on TV.

Cooked breakfast was a small portion size. Shared bathroom facilities. Small room but fine for what we needed it for.

L’accueil des hôtes est très chaleureux, on se sent comme à la maison. La chambre et les lits étaient très confortables, la salle de bain spacieux avec une baignoire. La cuisine et les espaces communs bien équipés et très agréables, jouissant de très belles vues sur la campagne alentour. L’emplacement au milieu de la campagne et entouré d’animaux que les enfants ont pris plaisir à nourrir. Petit déjeuner savoureux préparé par nos hôtes.

Location was really nice

Scenery was amazing.Room wad used by another guy an we were asked to used same were his clothes were in the dressing closet like left there. Even the kettle had half filled water. Balcony was full of dust and couldn’t get out due to dust and dirt. I am giving honest feedback for improvement
