Ho amato questo posto,mi sono davvero sentita a casa. Pulizia top e letti comodissimi, ma la cosa che ho più apprezzato è il fatto che ognuno ha la propria stanzetta con ventilatore e tutto lo spazio necessario per riporre i propri oggetti, davvero fantastico!!

The staff was amazing. Location is quiet and centric at the same time. Everything is close even for walking distances. The hotel is really nice and the the people that work there make the difference for you to have a warm stay. I recommend it 100%

It was central and it’s nice to have your own bed/space.

I don’t think this can be helped but the demographic of people staying there was a lot of old men. I stayed with my friend and I felt uncomfortable, if I was solo travelling I would have really felt uncomfortable!! It didn’t feel like the usual hostel vibe.

I like the room , the room was very comfortable and very big, which was absolutely perfect for solo traveler, because it has beautiful bed, and air condition kitchen , everything which i want i got it, but the very less price

Miła atmosfera, pan na recepcji bardzo pomocny, sympatyczny. Raz nawet częstował wszystkich zrobionym przez siebie śniadaniem, ryż z warzywami pycha.

Trochę dziwne te łóżka oddzielone krótkimi ścianami więc śpi się w taki małym pomieszczeniu za zasłoną.

If coming to Langkawi, you must stay here! The owner is an absolute gem—so friendly and helpful, always bringing all the guests together. The dorms are spacious, clean, and have AC+individual fan. Staying here feels like being welcomed home!

**★★★★★** Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft und ein echter Geheimtipp auf Langkawi! Der Besitzer ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat sogar für uns gekocht und uns viele gute Tipps für Ausflugsziele und Aktivitäten auf Langkawi gegeben. Dadurch fühlt man sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Der Schlafsaal ist sehr sauber und durch die Klimaanlage angenehm kühl. Auch das kostenlose WLAN funktioniert gut. Preislich ist die Unterkunft ebenfalls absolut top. Besonders schön fand ich, dass man hier sehr leicht mit anderen Reisenden in Kontakt kommt und schnell eine angenehme, gesellige Atmosphäre entsteht. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, wenn ich das nächste Mal auf Langkawi bin. Klare Empfehlung!

Loved that we had a private area for ourselves within the dorm, with lots of simple thoughtful things for storing your belongings. The man who ran it was lovely and helpful, he dropped me at dinner two of my nights. The cats are very sweet and it’s within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops.

Nothing! The only negative which wasn’t the property’s fault at all was that one traveller chose to watch videos on loud every night I was there (even after being shushed and told to stop by myself and other travellers) so sadly I did not have one night of good sleep even though the environment would have allowed for that. The staff had already spoken to him many times but unfortunately this person still chose to do this.

Dortoir sous forme de petites cellules alignées fermées par un rideau. Plutôt pratique et bien conçu. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. Température de l'eau fraîche non réglable mais pas un souci. Hôte sympathique et présence de chats à l'extérieur très sympas.

Climatisation insuffisante et uniquement allumée la nuit, il faisait trop chaud dans le dortoir, même la nuit. La couverture fournie pour dormir est très rêche, pas très confortable. Apparemment on n'a pas le droit d'utiliser la lampe privée de sa propre capsule la nuit, l'hôte est venu me le dire en ouvrant mon rideau un soir sans se préoccuper de savoir si j'étais habillée. Les deux nuits, repos perturbé par un occupant qui regardait des vidéos sans écouteurs. Jamais vu un tel manque de respect après des mois de voyage. Les salles de bain donnent directement sur le dortoir et ne sont fermées que par des rideaux, donc on entend tous les bruits d'eau.

Fijne schone dorm voorzien van scheidingswanden waardoor het voelt als je eigen prive kamer. Voorzien van een ventilator en plankje voor je spullen. Aparte badkamer voor de dames met warme douche. Er is een keuken om je eigen maaltijden voor te bereiden. En voldoende zitruimte om in de avond gezellig met verschillende gasten te mingelen. De eigenaar Nanda is gastvrij en vriendelijk waardoor het voelt als een tweede thuis.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Short walk to the beach and shops but far enough behind the main roads for a peaceful sleep. In the mixed dorm you get your own little room and metal lockers for valuables. Most people extend their stay if possible.

Het zijn eigenlijk meer aparte kamers met echte muren tussen, maar met een gordijn ipv een deur. Geweldig! Je hebt niet het gevoel dat je in een gemeenschappelijke kamer slaapt

Not so many young backpackers and not that social. Can not where footwear inside but the floor is not that clean. I kept my slippers on. Bed was not so comfortable.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The place has a natural island vibe, surrounded by greenery, while still being right in the heart of the island and close to everything you need. A special thank you to Rahman, who is such a genuinely kind, supportive, and generous person. He always goes out of his way to help and makes you feel like part of his family. Nanda, the owner, is also very welcoming and always makes sure you're having a good stay. I met some amazing people during my time here, which made the experience even more special. Thank you all for the warmth, the good memories, and making me feel so at home. I will remember my stay fondly 🤍🌻🌴

I came to Langkawi Village Guesthouse for 3 nights and ended up staying 7. That says it all. Affordable, peaceful, safe, and just steps from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Huge thanks to Nanda and the team for their genuine warmth and hospitality. The dorms feel surprisingly private and comfortable, and the people I met here made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, one of the best guesthouse experiences I've had in Langkawi.

The room feels like a private room even if you were sharing with some others one. The stuff was suuuuper friendly and they introduce you to everyone, very kind people! Also they are really easy going The facilities also really good, and a kitchen with them if you want to cook your own food. Really worth for the value of money

I had a fantastic stay at Langkawi Village Guest House mixed dormitory in Langkawi. The place was clean, comfortable, and had a very friendly atmosphere that made it easy to meet fellow travelers from around the world. The dorm beds were cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shared spaces were always well-maintained. If you’re looking for an affordable, social, and comfortable place to stay in Langkawi, this mixed dormitory is a great choice. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily come back again!

First, the concept of having your own mini-room is incredible! Seriously!!!! besides Rohmat was a plus… who was always super fun and a sweetheart, helping and giving tips and even sharing some delicious food with me! He was amazing without a doubt! And Nanda was also super sweet, always concerned about whether I was okay and with a smile on his face! All of them, actually! So much so that I ended up extending my stay a little longer! The location is perfect, close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, literally everything! I recommend it and would definitely return!!! 🥰

Personal divided spaces within the dorm together with your own light and fan are a good feature & beds are comfortable. Dorm was quiet making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Small locker was useful, as was the wter dispenser. Staff friendly & helpful. Can hire scooters or book trips from the hostel

- Instead of a bunk bed, you have your own little space with a single bed, a small desk, lots of hangers, and a much needed fan. It feels very private and comfortable. - The vibes are super calm and relaxed. - Super nice and attentive staff - There’s a cat and she’s the cutest thing!

It was a short yet nice stay in Village hostel, pretty private concept, considering it's a mixed dorm - you have actually your own tiny room, which is separated from the others with a curtain and so you really have your own little space, not only bed. The facilities are ok but all is more like in half outdoor concept which doesn't have to suit to everyone, for me it was ok! :) The location is just perfect, 5 min walk to the Cenang beach and all the shops in that Main Street. You can also rent a bike or book a trip through the hostel. The vibe is really chill and friendly! :)

Great accommodation, very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and helpful, good vibes. Pantai Cenang Beach and street are very close, yet you don't really have trouble with the noise from in the hostel. Had a bed and some kind of your own room, it's a lot of privacy and space for a hostel with that price. Bed was kinda comfortable and curtain to the window kept the light out kinda well.

The AC was not completely able to keep up with the outside heat, it was kinda warm. There is also a ventilator above your bed, but it causes good noise when turned on, so bring earmuffs with you.

I had the chance to spend five nights at Langkawi Village Guest House and I would highly recommend it to everyone. In the dorm, you actually have your own little private space, which gives you a lot of privacy and comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly, and it’s very easy to connect with other guests staying there. The host, Huis, is absolutely amazing and is always happy to help with any questions you have!

Each dorm bed is in its own little cubicle-like room giving you very decent privacy and you get a free towel. Very centrally located for Cenang beach. Very friendly host

The owner and the staffs are very nice and friendly, they gave many travel tips. Wifi works super well, toilets are gender separated, very clean. Even with a kitchen to use for free. Location is very good, close to everything

- less than 10 minutes walk from Chenang Beach - Various restaurants, cafes, bars, and hypermarkets (such as duty-free liquor sales) can all be moved within 15 minutes on foot - Use a single bed and protect privacy with curtain for each bed, and provide a fan and power outlet (Plug Type G) for each bed - Guest House rules after 10:30 p.m. Turn off lights and quiet - "The Village Cafe" near the entrance to the guesthouse sells meals, coffee, beverages, etc. - You can rent a scooter every 24 hours, and the rental fee is cheaper than other rental stores nearby and is a high-performance scooter - The rental scooter is a Honda Vario 125 model (125cc Liquid Coupled Engine with eSP) that can easily drive all uphill in Langkawi (new product 4 months old as of September 2025) - Legal scooter rental is possible if you have a motorbike driver's license (required to obtain a 2종소형면허 for if you are Koreans) and an international driver's license (required to be stamped in column A) - You can take out various types of canned beer (RM 5~) from the refrigerator in the guesthouse anytime and pay for it - Before coming to Langkawi, I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the Kuala Lumpur Condominium, which has better facilities, and the satisfaction was much better here - The locker is large enough to fit a backpack and comes with a lock for free, so it is convenient to use the locker - Cold and hot water come out well in the shower. - Two mirrors and two sinks outside the bathroom - very friendly host - I want come back to here again oneday.

- Since the shower room and toilet are not separated, there may be a waiting time depending on the time of day when there are many guest.

+++ La localisation à 5 minutes de la plage et de l’avenue principale avec tous les restos, les magasins, bureau de change, etc. +++ Le personnel est super gentil, amical et aux besoins. Idem pour ceux qui logent là. +++ L’intimité malgré que ce soit un dortoir !! Incroyable d’avoir son propre espace entre deux murs. Vraiment incroyable. Surtout quand on bouge d’hostel en hostel sur une longue durée... +++ Serviettes fournies, possibilité de mettre des trucs au frigo, de cuisiner, de se poser à l’extérieur. ++++ Le fait que j’ai pu rester à l’hostel toute l’après-midi à attendre avant d’aller à l’aéroport et que j’ai pu prendre une douche malgré que j’ai checked-out le matin. En fin bref, tout était super !!

Great accomodation overall! Comfortable beds which are separated in cubicles - that makes it very private. Fans are on during the day, aircond's running throughout the night. I liked the common area where people can hang out. The host Nanda is very friendly and helpful! Location is superb, it's like 5 minute walk to the beach and to the promenade where all the shops and restaurants are located.
